The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely great! Food is superb, service is amazing.

Three of us dined here for dinner midweek. Cosy and lively atmosphere and super friendly staff as soon as we entered. Ordered the beef box for 3 which was excellent portion size. Beef had lots of flavour - the sirloin was a thinner cut so ended up slightly overcooked as the meat keeps cooking on the ‘box’. The other cuts were excellent - rump, skirt. Chorizo was juicy and tasty. Fantastic place and all staff super friendly. Highly recommend!

The meat is cooked perfectly to your taste and it is well priced, even though close to the City. I have been there twice now and the service has been great as well as the food.

The steak was absolutely delicious, and the waiter was incredibly nice and friendly. While we waited for our steak to be cooked from medium to medium-well, they kindly offered us complimentary fries, which was a lovely gesture. The ambiance was great, and the food was outstanding. Even the toilets were clean and smelled fresh, which added to the positive experience. Everything was perfect. I have no complaints and will definitely visit again!

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was terrific. However, we were constantly reminded that we only had the table for 90 minutes and were urged to order quickly because it was booked for others after us. We were also asked to settle the bill well before our time is up. Overall, it felt very rushed. Even though 90 minutes is plenty of time to dine, being repeatedly reminded about the time and interrupted mid-conversation became quite frustrating.

The food was absolutely delicious! The ribeye and bife burger were definite standouts. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding—so friendly and fun! The atmosphere was perfect, with great music that really set the mood. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Service not great, not very atmospheric and food average

Rib eye steak was excellent but the rest of the food and experience was average at best. The starters called enchiladas were basically frozen pasties. The staff were really friendly but not attentive, we sat for ages with dirty starter plates on the table while they chatted.

Absolutely great from the start. The staff and service was absolutely exceptional. My partner and I had to leave suddenly due to a sudden issue. The staff was very caring and I regrettably had to miss the suprise birthday cake and candle which was waiting for her at the end. However i was shocked to find out they made the effort and had that prepared for her. The staff had given us takeaway packaging for the food we briefly ate. The food was very good. It travelled very well and tasted amazing. The steak was mouth wateringly delicious and as a person whom is not a black pudding eater. The black pudding was tasty. The waitress who we ordered from was very caring and recommended the empanadas for the starters which was an absolute must. Highly recommendable restaurant and will be going back to properly to ensure we have a complete experience with Bife. Although we had a short and sharp one it has left a very great impression and a sad regret we had to go suddenly. Thank you Bife for you care and understanding last night. And your food is absolutely amazing.

The starter was outstanding - highly recommend the bone marrow and small breads and Stilton butter. The main was average - just steak and chips and about the same as anywhere Service was perfect- no long waits. The restaurant praps a tad hot - could do with a bit more air in there. But overall was good

Fantastic food, lovely service from all who served us

I was in London for a few days with my daughter for her birthday. I had booked a guided tour in the evening and I spent a fair amount of time researching the restaurants in the area, so we could eat before we went on the tour. I chose Bife as it was near the meeting point for the tour and I liked the look of the menu. My booking was early at 5:15, although we were running late, so I rang the restaurant to see if I could move our booking and explained that we would only have around 45 minutes to eat, before we had to leave for a guided tour. The person I spoke to was really helpful and moved the booking with no problems at all. When we got there we were greeted warmly and given a lovely table by the window. The service was impeccable, the staff were efficient, welcoming and really lovely people. They couldn’t do enough for us and made sure everything was turned round really quickly so that we could eat and get to our tour on time. Amazingly we managed to squeeze 3 courses into our 45 minutes and the food was outstanding! We loved everything we ordered i.e.: Bread basket, filet steak, Crème Caramel and Lemon Pie. I have to say that the filet steak was one of the best I’ve ever had and cooked to perfection. The puddings were also fantastic and there was a really good selection to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly with plenty of space between tables. The restaurant was a fair size, but had an intimate, family run feel to it, which isn’t always easy to achieve in London. We really enjoyed our brief, but enjoyable visit to this gem of a restaurant. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, especially if you know a thing or two about quality steak!

I love this place. Staff greet you like old buddies with a roaring hola, the steak is amongst the best in London, wine list very good and fairly priced and overall the atmosphere and the value here is just so right. Genuinely love coming here and also introducing new friends to this hidden gem in Liverpool Street!

Very warm welcome great service we loved the steak chips were sooo good I’m Only taking a point off due to I didn’t like where they sat us I felt it was the worst table in the place but in fairness it was meant to be a table for 2 but 3 of us turned up so it might have been a different table if only 2 of us turned up Would recommend for those that love a steak

As always the food was of high quality, the empanadas especially were incredibly tasty. Steaks were well cooked and tasty also. House red wine was excellent value for money.

We had the grill - excellent, a short rib steak, povalone cheese with amazing herb bread and to end some of Chef Leo's award winning media lunas. Great team, very friendly and excellent beef. Really worth taking the tube out to Aldgate. We'll be back!

Hola! Un par de cosas para considerar chicos: Eramos 6, en la mesa había 1 vegetariano. Al consultar si había alguna otra opción vegetariana ademas de las empanadas, el mozo nos contesto "no se si se dieron cuenta que el nombre del local es Bife, casi no vienen vegetarianos a comer acá" , la verdad nos pareció de cuarta la respuesta, somos clientes hace un tiempo, y a pesar de tener amigos vegetarianos, seguimos yendo a comer ahí, porque hay vegetarianos que no les importa el nombre del lugar ni que sea principalmente carne lo que venden. Por otro lado, nos sirvieron unas costillas que eran una hoja de papel de lo finas que estaban, por favor revisen que esta pasando ahi porque es el gran dilema de esta ciudad, comer BIEN y Abundante, y ahora parece que han cambiado el tamaño de ese corte. Literal eran transparentes. Por ultimo, no a todas las personas les gusta que al salir les den besos y abrazos. En nuestro caso éramos un grupo de diferentes nacionalidades, y al salir lo primero que cuestionaron fue esto. Yo se que a los Argentinos no nos cae mal esto, pero consideren medir un poco el tema contacto físico. Gracias y espero tomen esto de buenas maneras. Saludos,

Went for lunch with a colleague and both of us were really impressed with the speed and quality of service, but the steaks were out of this world. So glad to find this restaurant and as it is so close to our office, we'll be going back again as soon as possible.

First time visiting Bife and I was impressed. Service was great and very friendly. The food was well cooked and flavoursome. Overall I’d certainly recommend and is a better experience than some of the more well known City steak places.

The perfectly aged, seasoned, and cooked steaks were simply mouthwatering. No one would go there for the chips/fries alone, but they were spot on. Good service and drinks. Can't wait to return.

We had the Beef steak grill box for 4. Fantastic selection of meat cooked perfectly on a table grill and comes with sides. Great atmosphere in a good location not far from Spitalfields market. Highly recommend.

Our party of three came here for a business lunch on a Friday. It was very quiet, with only a couple of other tables booked. We went for the Bife box for three, which was excellent. All the cuts of beef were really nice, and beautifully cooked, and there was a lot of food - plenty for the three of us. With the meat and a couple of sides to share, it was more than enough, so no need for starters. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
