Wonderful food. The Cachapa pancakes were delicious.

We took a school trip here yesterday and the experience was perfect. The pupils were able to practice their Spanish and try delicious dishes. There was a wonderful ambience and staff were so attentive. Highly recommend!

Hearty food and something different in the area if you're in the mood to try something new, enjoyed the food but the waiter unfortunately spilt sauce on me and wasn't particularly apologetic about it

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Food was 10/10. Staff was 10/10. Drinks 10/10. There is nothing further this resultant can do to improve. Everything was excellent and it was a wonderful experience.

Very nice food and atmosphere. The tables, however, are pushed a little too close together for my liking (you can clearly hear everything being said by the people on the tables beside you) and it's quite expensive for what it is, especially when an "optional" yet undisclosed 13.5% service charge is added to your bill. On the whole, though, we had a nice evening!

Food was really really good! Recommend going for the lemonade and if you can, bring someone so you can share some things and taste as much as possible

Food was grand. We were with a group of 11 and had everything drinks and food wise delivered fine. However when splitting the bill, the waiter then asks for £80 more on our bill. This was strange as we thought we had overpaid with a healthy tip. After further examination we realised that the staff were wrong and we were apparently £6 short. So if it wasn't for us having to go back and check the paid receipts, we would have been overcharged. When asked if they could give us a few drinks or a dessert to compensate, they proceeded to cuss us and the manager stormed out, smoking at the entrance to deal with the apparent stress caused. Literally no customer service and will not recommend. I dont think this company is used to accommodating large groups Small portions for price, even if charged correctly

Genuinely my favourite restaurant in London and a MUST if you are visiting. Stumbled across the Bethnal Green branch whilst on a walk and intrigued by the menu, tried the small plates to try a bit of everything and everything; the meat, veg, plantain, guac and even juice were SO FRESH which is what I think stood out so much to me. 10/10 service also and gorgeous atmosphere. Absolutely reccomend and will be returning!

I've been here of a lunchtime twice now for work leaving lunches. The food is fine and fairly reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and adept are looking after large groups with all that that entails.

Staff were very friendly! Food serves fast. Good to have gluten free and vegan friendly options! However the arepas I got was too heavy/oily and salty. And seems a small portion given the price. The fact that they use palm oil also make this less appealing. Glad I balanced it out with a side palm salad 😊 pretty busy in the evening so be sure to make reservations

We loved our lunch at Arepa & Co, just around the corner from the Young V&A. The portions were generous, the food was well balanced and very tasty. The plantain in particular was delicious. Our server, Oscar, was friendly and attentive, and our meals came out in good time. Happily it didn’t break the bank either.

We’d walked by and noticed a lunch deal previously so decided to come on a Tuesday at lunch. You got one main meal & a sugar cane lemonade for £11. BARGAIN - especially for London. The food was incredible, so fresh and flavourful. I’d never tried this kinda food before and I was not disappointed. The staff were lovely, very friendly.

This was so good. We came in for the lunch special, added in a couple of small plates, then another and then dessert and coffee. what started as a snack turned into a feast. Fantastic food, service and prices. Please could we have an Arepa open in Leeds? We wanted to take you home with us. High points: the Yuca chips, the dulche de leche, the home made lemonade and Arepas, and chatting with the owner at the end. Why wasn't it full? if i lived there I'd be in every day.

We were here for an early dinner, ordered a main. Each of us paid about £10 for a tiny bowl of food, as mentioned, supposed to be a main dish (see 2nd photo). They advertise "eat lots" (see 1st photo), but definiteley NOT there, or you have to leave a fortune to get full. Interieur and service were good though, but we won't come back.

Love this place - great to eat in as the location is perfect and great ambiance. The tres leches is everything!! Worth the calories. Recently ordered on Uber eats and I was a bit sad that there was only one small piece of plantain in my arepa pabellón, the bottom of the arepa was empty and barely any cheese! Normally there is an adequate amount. Hopefully just as one off, as usually the consistency is top tier, the meat is always tender.. no fatty or gristle. Still 5 stars though! 🌟

Very tasty food, we had the pastelitos, the yuca chips and the plantain for starters and all were 10/10. I had the chicken arepa and it was very tasty and very filling. They have a good selection of cocktails and the service is very warm.

The food here is amazing! I really love the combination of the bowls. Everything compliments each other very well. Good portion size. The pancake option is good if you like the mixture of sweet and savoury. I enjoyed their lemonade. It really did remind me of my time in South America. Staff are lovely and friendly. I have returned a few times and will continue to go for more. They do an offer for £11 Monday to Friday between 12-3pm, which includes either chachapa, arepa or bowl and lemonade. 100% worth it!

Very tight for space, automatic service charge applied regardless of how happy you are with service. Cool decor. I'd like to clarify in response to their response. We had no food here and even though I don't live in London, we've never had an automatic service charge for a glass of lemonade anywhere, ever, London included

Despite not having a booking, the staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that we were seated and attended to promptly. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality were truly remarkable, making us feel like valued guests from the very start. The food at this restaurant is simply divine. The flavors just melted in our mouths, leaving us craving more with every bite. Without a doubt, I will be returning to this restaurant in the near future.

The staff were genuinely really happy and friendly, we had a bit of banter with the waitress and the owner. The food is epic! Real, “stick to your ribs” hearty goodness. Balanced flavours, well cooked and well presented.

I went to this place when it first opened years ago, and they have cut the arepa portion size down by at least a third while increasing the prices. The service is great, and the flavours have always been good, but the price-portion ratio is just injustifiable at this point. Sad times.

We used to love this restaurant though we never been to this one before but we have been to others from the chain. We visited 3 days ago and all 3 of us got diarrhoea so apparently something went clearly very wrong!

Excellent Venezuelan food, not dissimilar to Mexican for those who have not tried it before , but even tastier. Brilliant service and goods drinks selection. Rice bowl With pork was really good value and rather spicy if you select the hot sauce on the side

I loved the guava fried chicken and the cheese sauce that came with it was SO good. The beef arepa was great too with the avocado sauce. I thought the portions were a bit small for the price. It would be a fun place for a group dinner though so you can share the plates.

Eat here somewhat regularly and all the options are good. The yuca fries are very enjoyable.

Delish food and cocktails. The food was spot on - especially the plantain. The beans and shredded meats were great and the cheesy dirty yucca fries wonderfully filling. The only disappointment was the guacamole dressing - it was very runny and did not have any chili kick to it - needs to be thicker and with heat.

200% markup? Most restaurants here are disappointing and this one is no exception The food quality was average, the juice was 80% water. Similarly the food portion was small. I have visited many Venezuelan restaurants, and this one has the smallest portion (and the lowest quality comparing to what I have eaten abroad) So, yeah. First and last visit

The staff is rude and seems lazy; like they don't really care about the customers and are just doing their job. They were having fun among themselves but were very indifferent to the customers. This happened to other tables as well. The food is not bad, but at least the vibe is nice. However, I would not go back—there are many other cool options around.

Fantastic food. Great service from this vuenesuelan restaurant, and a superb atmosphere.. I can not stress how good the food is and so close to the city and right next to the hotel. What more do you want. They deserve all 5 🌟 from me after a very long train journey. I'm back on track and ready for the weekend of baseball tomorrow.. phillies v Mets.

Came for a solo lunch. I was greeted by Yan who was amazing and was able to breakdown the menu and answer any questions I had. I ordered the yuca fries and had the cachapa pernil which he recommended - incredible and super filling, and I ended up ordering more for takeaway! Could not recommend the food nor Yan’s service enough!!

Great meal here, loved the yuca fries & the dough balls. Also couldn’t fault the arepa & grilled cheese. Very tasty!

What a great find for us! I've never really ventured to this side of the city and I'm glad I did because of this place. The food was so good- we had the following: chicken and beef arepas, beef with rice and beans and the sugar cane lemonade, all of them really tasty. The service was lovely too and the ambience was just relaxed and fun. Such good bang for your buck! Would definitely come back to try the desserts next time.

Went for brunch with friends - fast service, very good venezuelan food and prices in the usual norm of London. Nice environment with a very typical east London vibe and restaurant very family friendly (we had babies with us and they had all the needed space for buggies etc). Also very very close to Bethnal Green tube station - will go back.

Things worth ordering if I were to come back were the tequeños and the fried yuca. Also the pastelitos were nice. A dissapointment, quite a let down indeed, were the cachapas as they are made with a supermarket mix and I, as a Venezuelan, was expecting the real flavor and not the dull one you get from a mix. Had I known this, I would not have ordered one. It is a difference in flavor and texture that is too big to ignore. The size of the cachapa was also rather on the smalles side and, if a supermarket mix is to be used, at least the size should be a generous one to compensate. Please consider either making them with real corn or let customers know on the menu that it is made with the supermarket mix so people know what they are getting.

A total discovery of venezuelan food for us and it didn't disappoint ! We went twice during our stay in London. Amazing food, affordable prices, really nice staff, I would definitely recommand the cachapas Mariana !

Very unwelcoming. We came as a group of 6, including 2 kids. They got us a big table, but seemed to change their minds about having us there. Instead of politely saying it might not be convenient for us with the kids, they just made us feel very unwelcome by ignoring our efforts to order or rudely telling us to move our things until we got fed up and left.

The food is tasty, real Venezuelan flavours. They have a £11 lunch deal during weekdays from 12-15h. You can sit indoors or outdoors.

Lunch with family - we'd been at the Young V&A across the road. I had the lunch deal (pabellon criollo). Very tasty. I recommend it. The home made lemonade is also good. Not too busy at lunchtime, and service was friendly and efficient.

I often go to Arepa. Sunday I took a friend for Brunch. We had the delicious Vegetarian Bowl and Tres Leches. The food was great and the service attentive and friendly

Nice little restaurant with Latin food. Fried pastries, fibrant tastes, kind staff. Try of if you want something different. The tasting is recommended.

ベネズエラの料理は食べたことがなかったので試しに行ってみました。料理は勿論、南アメリカ的、超ヘビーです。ユカチップスはめちゃ美味しいですが、時間が経つとものすごく硬くなるので、早めに食べきること。チーズのTEQUEÑOSもユカボールもそれなりに美味しいですが、とにかく重 い！メインはAREPASというコーンブレッドのピタの様なものを1つ頼みましたが、1人ならこれ1つで充分です。日本人には重過ぎるかも。炭水化物と肉が大好きという人には最高です。お店は可愛くて広く、スタッフも気軽でフレンドリーです。ただワインがめちゃ高い（１杯８−16ポンド!）ので、みんなでボトルを飲むか、ビールなどがいいかもです。

Was very nice, I just wasn’t blown away by it. The food was more blend than I expected. Still good, but not as exciting. I had the beef bowl, mashed avocados and pico de gallo.

Visited in June 2023. 3.9/5. We came for the first time to celebrate Father’s Day and it was an overall decent experience. We had tried arepas elsewhere and were looking forward to it. While it wasn’t the best I’ve had, it did have flavour. The portions were concise. The service was satisfactory, we did ask for everything to be brought out together, but that didn’t happen, so one person was eating ahead of two others. The place itself was vibrant, warm and welcoming otherwise. However, it is worth a punt but nothing I’d drop in a hurry for.

I've been here a few times now, on different days of the week, and have to say it's one of my favourite spots. Recently celebrated my birthday here and the staff were so lovely. Highly recommend the fried chicken with guava glaze, triple cheese cachapa, and dirty yuca fries (insane!!!)
