Vesuvius in Maidstone

Our first visit to Vesuvius Garforth and we were really impressed. Authentic Neapolitan style pizzas cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and professional. A lovely experience. We’ve just got back from a holiday in Italy, we only visit Neapolitan style pizzerias and we’ve eaten pizza in many regions of Italy, including Naples. The pizzas at Vesuvius Garforth were as good if not better than anything we had before. Well done to everyone at Vesuvius, you should be very proud of your pizzeria.

The gluten free vegan pizzas here are amazing... it's always a worry when a small kitchen that handles so much wheat dough has a gluten free option; but the chef has clearly taken care not to cross contaminate. The vegan topping is truly amazing! A shout out to the staff, always friendly too

The pizza is so good! They can customize pizzas, and all of the ingredients seemed so fresh and tasty. Perfect crust, and perfect portion size (if you're hungry!). The chili oil itself is a highlight, it was fantastic.

Visited with my daughter whilst in the area. Lovely small restaurant. Great pizza, great service, nice friendly staff, what more can I say.

Great service - Caden looked after us and he was very attentive professional and polite. Wine was nice and cold - I’ve been in many restaurants where I’ve had to ask for ice cubes to get the wine to the right temperature but here it was perfect. The pizzas were amazing. My other half had the meat calzone and he reckons this is the best one he has ever had. My pizza was up there in my faves ever too. Will defo be returning soon x

What a great little place this is and local too!!! Visited one evening mid week for the first time and was not disappointed. I would go as far as saying one of the best pizzas I've had and will definitely be returning!! Very filling and tasty also reasonably priced and staff were very friendly. We have been to Vesuvius in Garforth a number of times now. The food is delicious, atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly. The pizzas are to die for as the dough is so soft. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back :-)

10000/10. The most incredible food, amazing quality, fresh ingredients. Great, authentic atmosphere. The friendliest staff who came and had a lovely conversation with us at the end of our meal. Cannot recommend enough. Consider us regulars now! You will not get a better pizza anywhere else outside of Naples!

We visited Vesuvius and the five of us were welcomed to our table. The restaurant has well laid out and I could get my wheelchair under a wider table. The pizzas here are delicious with a wide range of choices. The pizzas and calzones were all cooked to order with fresh ingredients. I shared a tiramisu with my husband which was perfection, I got the larger dessert spoon 😂. The restaurant was bustling and a great atmosphere. There were customers collecting takeaways too. We had a lovely experience and we are all definitely returning. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

These pizzas are out of this world!!! There is no place offering these kind of pizzas anywhere else. They are EXACTLY the same as Italy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We went as a party of 7 for a birthday meal and had a wonderful times. The starter were varied and all delicious, I personally had the meatballs. We all had pizzas for our mains from Italian imported oven and they were all absolutely amazing. We all throughly enjoyed our meals and drinks, and very reasonably priced. Definitely go again.

You will not get a better pizza outside Italy, not to mention the wonderful Parmigiana. It is also unbelievable value for money, can't recommend it highly enough.

Impulse takeaway pizza on the recommendation of a friend. Three pizzas for ourselves and our daughter, all delicious and authentic with excellent quality ingredients - you could smell the basil as the pizza wheel cut through it. We’ll definitely be back.

Another fantastic meal here last night, the pizzas and the tiramisu were outstanding. We have visited a number of times now and been in to pick up take out on a number of occasions and it’s always superb. Staff and service are also great.
