We read the reviews and were very weary about what we would find, but to be honest, we were very surprised. OK, some of the food could have been hotter, but those bay Marie lights don't keep food as hot as they should, I don't think. The quality of the food was good, the quantity and selection were very good the staff were lovely, the desserts gorgeous . Couldn't really fault it to be honest we have been to better but believe me I definitely been to a lot worse. Even the bathroom and toilet very clean would definitely recommend this place .

Plenty of choice , would go again for sure. It's all you can eat so don't expect 5 star dinning. I enjoyed it and so my family

Was waiting for over two weeks for our dinner from booking. Looks nice but all tastes the same. Especially when you see the cooks eating and spitting their own food out straight in front of us. Save your money and find something else or you will be disappointed. We travel a lot and try all you can eat all over the place and this is the worst one..... best thing here was the ice cream which is brought in...

Slightly disappointed with this restaurant. This is advertised as a global menu but is made of mainly of Chinese/Indian dishes, it has the same atmosphere and smell of YoYo in Beijing which used to be here a few years ago I believe... The food is clean but lukewarm and appears and tastes of low quality esp the Yorkshire puddings/Doner meat. The lager was flat, the Pepsi max was the only thing in the range of normal. Desserts we're satisfactory at best. Also there is an instant feeling of mistrust when you are waiting to be seated, as it is mandatory to pay in full before your meal, this leads me to the conclusion of low trust in their customers or that the food probably is worth the price and which they charge.

Me and my partner went yesterday for some tea. We had been once before, not long after it opened and apart from having extremely bad stomach ache the next morning it was good. However, when we went yesterday they no longer take card which meant we had to get money out which is no issue. But when we went to get our food most of the dishes were nearly empty and then when we sat down to eat we found that every individual bit of food was stone cold. We both didn’t even have a plate full of food. I then went up to get a crepe and there was a working talking to the lady that was making it. She asked how the food was and when I explained that it was all time cold she abruptly walked off and said she would go look. I sat back down and ate the crepe which was the best thing in the place. She then come out of the kitchen which a thermometer and checked all the food then came back over and asked if we could tell her exactly what was cold as she checked and all food was sitting at around 60 degrees. We told her what we had and then she went back into the kitchen. A gentleman then came out 5 minutes later and within that all the food was steaming hot. Within this me and my partner walked out after paying over £40 for less than one plate of food each, a crepe each and 2 drinks. We will not be returning at all. Very disappointed

Very good attempt. 3 times gone for dinner. It worth than any other restaurants. Because we can explore different types of food. Price is different in different month. For a couple first time got an offer 2nd person (10) half of the first person (20). 2nd time also got this but 3rd time offer withdrawn . 40 for 2 but it's also worth it. Drink 🍷 chargeable but unlimited like food.

Book a table on a weekend at the new refurbished Chinese world buffet on arrival place was dead food was cold wasn't very supportive when raised my concern they just took the dish away told me to go back to to get another plate. world buffet, there wasn't a great variety when called ask about roast dinner said it was available. No potato's no grave little yourshier pudding was not edible. Pizza chips nuggets again cold garlic bread hard cold Desserts of what was there chocolate + vanilla ice cream was melted The cakes weren't that nice proffitter rolls rock soild cheese cake tasted of amd just fell apart when putting on a plate. Won't be returning

We were pleased it was available for a late lunch (after 2pm), and the food selection was very good. The self-service buffet had plenty to choose from and was all nicely cooked and with good taste. There was a good selection for a dessert too. The only negative I can definitely say was that the toilets were dirty and in need of a good clean.

Just yo yos with a lick of paint...very poor tbh, if you read these reviews Mr vesta you need to up your game or you will go same way as your predecessors... All you can eat Global Buffet should mean just that but it felt like we were an inconvenience at 8.45pm after being told well it is a late booking..... A late booking you confirmed therefore should give what you offer not empty trays or Luke warm dry offerings ... This really is a true portrayal of our visit I'm afraid... At least you took payment beforehand... How intuitive 😕

The only best Hallal food in Lincoln

The food is tasty and the staff are very friendly. In particular, the sushi is the best we have had in Lincoln and is very authentic!

Food labelling is a joke. Potato curry labelled vegetarian had prawns in it. Dish labelled broccoli was actually chicken !! Pizza was cold, chips were cold. Chocolate fountain not working but sitting with chocolate in it. Thanks but no thanks.

Been here twice now, both times left with stomach ache. Won’t be returning again. Thought maybe the first time it was something I ate before.. but today I haven’t eaten nothing today apart from here and bamm, stomach ache & rushing home to use the toilet. Also £42 for a child and adult to eat is ridiculous.

I was a bit unsure about trying here because of some of the reviews but we went along to see for ourselves and I'm so glad we did. The huge selection and varieties of food is absolutely fantastic. The quality and freshness again, 5* The service was perfect. Lovely lad walking round and collecting plates and anything you no longer needed. We will definately be returning. Amazing value for money and overall a lovely place.

Only disgusting thing was the guy on the Indian section continually coughed while preparing the food. Came here to try for a lunch, hesitant because of the mixed reviews. Upon arriving found that 2nd person is half price on a mid week lunch, which was nice, however upon entering the waiter wasn't all that friendly and then said you have to pay before eating (probably due to the number of complaints), and then tried to charge us full price. I pointed out that the 2nd person should be half price as advertised in their window, he adjusted the price, but this shouldnt need to be pointed out as everyone eating at this time should get this offer. Onto the food, a decent selection is available, but the roast meats didnt look that great, i wasnt going anywhere near the sushi just from looking at it, we eat sushi alot and know when its old. Most of the food was just bland some was hot, some was cold. The steamed dumplings were piping hot and tasty, and the 1 prawn i amongst all the potatoes of the indian curry was lovely, i went back 15 mins later to check if some more prawns had been added, sadly not. Oh the duck pancakes were dry too, i mean the duck had been there a lookng time and the pancakes snapped! Overall it just felt like eating to stay alive, so long as you eat the right things to not get ill. Save yourself the effort and choose the other chinese buffet in town or the carvery, both are cheaper and better.

I booked here for my partners surprise birthday meal. It was super easy to book I just went online to make a reservation. I DIDNT HaVE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE! I booked a table for fifteen people, risky, I know but my partner loves Chinese food and it was her birthday. There were 9 adults and 6 children. Even the kids tried everything from crab claws and sushi to Indian food like curry, they even got their daily dose of chicken nuggets. There were plenty of options for the adults too including roast dinner, Chinese, sushi, Indian and pizza. After helping ourselves to what ever tickled our fancy for the mains, we tried all of the pudding! There was so many to choose from but we had to try a little bit of everything- including the home made sweet pancakes! As our family sat down for desert I popped over to the main desk and told them about my partners birthday. Out the staff came, birthday cake and lit candles, singing happy birthday and clapping. The cake was completely free of charge and we got to bring the left overs home. We sat and tried a few of the cocktails including the Woo- woo and the Nutella martini (basically an alcoholic chocolate milkshake- if you have a sweet tooth like me- it’s one for you). All the staff were so polite, friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. As we left all the staff members came to greet my partner personally and say happy birthday to her. We’ve visited the restaurant a few times before this and have always enjoyed it! 10/10 would reccomend

Visited Lincoln today and found this restaurant by chance. Myself and family were really impressed with the quality and variety of the food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money I would definitely recommend this place for lunch

Staff were really nice and very personable. The food unfortunately left little to be desired, which is a shame. It may have been due to the time we were there, which was around 1700 on a Saturday. All of the food which was in batter was near rock solid, which I believe will have been from sitting under the heat lamp for so long, it was unfortunately borderline inedible. The carvery meats were very pleasant, although there was very little of it whilst we were there. The carbonara sadly lacked any flavour also. It may have been a one off, so I will come back at some point and try again. The Eaton Mess was spot on though!

We came here last night for a family birthday. It was my first visit and I was not disappointed, there was a fair variety of foods available, a sushi conveyor belt, pizza, pasta, kebab meat, three roasted meats with vegetables, curry, and a large selection of Asian foods along with chips, chicken nuggets and the kind of foods that appeal to children. Moving along to the desserts, there was a fair choice there too. My grandson was hugely disappointed that the chocolate fountain wasn't working, but that was the only blip. I never usually have a dessert, but I went up twice for the creme brulee! Unheard of for me. I did use the facilities, and they were clean and tidy. All in all, we went away satisfied and will definitely be back again.

Who doesn't love an all you can eat buffet???? This one is fantastic! Dishes from everywhere Indian, Italian, English and lots of Chinese dishes. Everything I ate (which was alot!!) was tasty, hot and delicious. If in Lincoln and can't decide what cuisine you want then this is the place for you. Highly recommend 👌

Visited with my partner yesterday, all show no substance. That’s the best way to describe my dining experience. Poor vegetarian options too. Would recommend for a one off visit, after that don’t bother.

went here with my fiancé today and must i say it was absolutely amazing, friendly staff welcoming us as soon as we stepped in and talked us through everything as it was our first time. Now the food, it was an absolute delight everything from the ribs to the chicken and beef it was fresh and warm with amazing flavours and texture. For the price i couldnt recommend anywhere else but here.

Food appalling, squid, beef, pork and duck all inedible as had been out for so long it had dried up. Pricing also questionable, signage outside said £19.99 Mon-Thurs but was asked for £20.99 as they claimed it was increased as it was a full buffet and the Easter holidays. Not that long after our visit, one ended up with very severe stomach cramps!! Definitely a place to avoid.

Bought my daughter here for her birthday with her friends, great variety of food. Curries were amazing! Good experience. Will definitely visit again with a big group and lots of different dietary tastes.

Do like food here. Four days out of five. Good selection of the main Chinese dishes, + sushi, omelette, pizza and Indian dishes + usual sides one would like. Dessert is selection of cakes, ice cream, pancakes (freshly made) and chocolate fountain with sweet selection or fresh fruit. So not bad for the price (Although I only go during lunch as much better value than evening). Complement to chef as food is cooked well, good flavours. Only 4 star as, some days can taste difference in flavour - example the ribs - as if is mix of fresh and using yesterdays, clear difference in taste of two same items. Or the rice has a weird tang to it. (I put this down to a different chef covering because if the main lady is working expect flavours and freshness). Parking across road at St.marks (may need to pay so check). Spacious enough for seating should be fine without pre-booking.

My wife and I decided to give Vesta a try while we were visiting Lincoln, and were glad we did. It's very good for a restaurant of this type. It was a Saturday evening and the place was busy when we arrived, so we wondered if we'd get a table as we hadn't pre-booked. Thankfully, they managed to squeeze us in. The restaurant majors on Asian food, with a smaller selection of Indian (curry), Italian (Pizza, pasta) and British (carvery). We tried the Asian and Indian, though the others looked good too. There was a wide selection of dishes and the buffet was kept topped up even though the restaurant was almost at capacity. Dishes weren't always replaced like-for-like when replenished, which increased the overall choice available. There were no significant problems with cold food, though I suppose that was partly due to the busyness of the place meaning nothing was left lying around for long. The food itself was good quality and freshly cooked, if a little bland on occasion for someone who likes spice. The dessert section was more extensive that is often found in this kind of place, and was generally good quality. The freshly made crepes were especially good. The staff were friendly and efficient, quickly removing used plates so the table didn't get cluttered. Overall, good food and good value. We'll certainly pay it another visit if we find ourselves in Lincoln again.

Got food poisoning would not recommend

Nice food if a touch expensive for what it offers. The food on offer depends on the time you arrive and you will drop luckier on some visits than others. Offers a reasonable selection of chines cuisine as you'll always end well fed due to the nature of the buffet servings. The sushi was remarkable in that I tried a piece and was still chewing it the next day, despite a full plate of food after the event. The desserts are nothing to write home about and genuinely quite a letdown. Worth a visit though and in the main a nice feed that won't disappoint.

My second lunchtime visit to the new Vesta buffet in Lincoln. Everything was clean, all the food fresh, friendly attentive staff and most importantly, lovely, fresh food. I ate far too much and left feeling extremely stuffed. The freshly made pancakes are to die for. Even when I was bursting at the seams, I managed to squeeze one in. Fantastic value. I will definitely visit again.

Clean, busy, lots of different foods to choice from . Chinese, Thai, Indian, Italian, English etc…., Fresh food brought out continually, Chef cooking in front of house , and excellent customer service. We will definitely back soon.

Fantastic place , we were here this evening (4/3/24) for my granddaughters birthday. staff were very accommodating to our party of 7 and when we asked if the could write happy birthday on a pancake they said to give a few minutes and turned up at our table with a birthday cake, which made her day . This was by far the worst buffet experience ever! First and last time. World cuisine?yea you wish. Good selection of HOT, mixed cuisine ? don’t thinks so. Trays refilled frequently? were do I start... For over an hour many trays were not replenished or changed to freshly cooked food. Pasta carbonara never topped up, garlic bread, chips, Yorkshire pudding, potatoes just to name a few dry and cold. Even basic rice or Chinese noodles cold, dry and tasteless. Creamy korma?nope just dried chicken with no sauce and Indian curry tasted like a jar combination slop. Soda drinks had nothing fizzy about them. Air con would be nice like with any other buffet restaurants. Stuffy air, steamy windows, terrible and cold, dried food, empty trays or dried leftovers left for too long. I will not return or recommend this place. I much prefer a bowl of hot, delicious and filling soup from vietnamise Pho to this so called world food buffet

It's the first time we have been here.And what a wonderful place. Fantastic food freshly made and yummy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it any day.

So much choice there would never be an issue with finding something for everyone. On arrival we paid £19.99 per adults (x2) and a toddler (can’t remember how much) plus 2 refill drinks and a fruit shoot all coming to £53.99. We were shown to a table and told we had 90 minutes dining time, which we thought was quite generous for a Saturday evening in an all you can eat, with no booking. We had a high chair for the toddler, the only qualm is the spacing between the tables could have been better thought out. With the plush chairs it feels a bit crammed. The food was excellent. Quality ingredients, seafood a-plenty, sushi, Thai, Chinese, Indian, American and English. Great selection of salad at the salad bar area. There were cooking stations where staff were cooking the meat, dim sum and sushi all fresh. Puddings - a bit of a let down. The ingredients lacked a bit and the ice cream was more like mousse. The pancakes prepped fresh by staff but lack choice of fruit toppings - like fresh strawberry, kiwi, pineapple - that sort of thing. The puddings were mainly cakes with a watery chocolate fountain for marshmallows. This is where they lose a star to 4*. There was easy availability of clean plates, cutlery and napkins. There was also plenty of staff who regularly cleared plates from the tables. Overall we’d love to see more fresh fruit, yoghurt, creams for the puddings but this place is a diamond and we’ll certainly be returning.

Visited Vesta on Saturday evening with my partner and sisters family. Had a fantastic evening. We arrived around 6.30 pm, and business was buzzing. Realised to get in there were a few steps, so spoke to a member of staff, and they kindly opened a lower door so I could get in with my wheelchair. Had to pay up front, which is the same for most large all-you-can-eat buffets which makes me nervous, however no need here. The food was amazing! All the hot plates were clean and keeping the food hot, which was always being topped up. They have an amazing sushi station, with conveyor. My 3 year old niece enjoyed her handmade pizza and yorkshire puddings. At £21 per person on a Saturday night, this is excellent value considering you would most likely spend this on a chinese takeaway, however when you take into account the great food, staffing costs, overheads etc this works out to be great value for money. The also have a good range of drinks at reasonable prices, including a lovely Japanese lager. All in all I would highly recommend Vesta, and we will be going back next time we are in Lincoln

Wow what a disappointment, I feel conned! All the food was cold and tasted like it had been sat there for days. Very limited rotation meaning the food was hard and inedible. Such a shame as I had high hopes, the look of disappointment from other diners solidified my experience. The manager was not interested in hearing our feedback. Will most definitely not recommend to others. Save your money!

Incredible fresh hot food. Four adults visited today for lunch. Great price and plenty of choice. Sushi, crepes and meat dishes were delicious. All staff friendly, regularly take your plates away and maintain cleanliness at the hot plate.

So we've been to Vesta several times with our grandchildren as a treat, but today when we were arranging a table, they wanted us to pay full price for my 12yr old granddaughter. Yes, she's tall, but she'd never manage an adult size meal, and we've not had this issue before. Even the girls were flabbergasted about Vesta wanting £20.95 for a child's meal. I thought I wasn't hearing properly when the staff member asked for more than £90 for a late lunch, especially when we usually pay a little over £60 on previous visits. We walked out and Vesta has now lost our business today and in the future, as well as that of my daughter who was planning on holding a birthday party there.

What can I say but delicious fresh food and so much choice, especially the sushi will be coming back for sure

For some reason, Lincoln fails to provide a good all you can eat restaurant. Not sure why we lost the Big Wok?? But this ‘new’ restaurant can only be described as an expensive cheap Chinese. Lack of variety and flavour means I would rather buy a small amount of local take away which is actually tasty . Great place if you want to fill your belly, but not if you want value for money or good food.

First time back since it opened and, to be fair, quite a good choice of food. We were here on Sunday, and there were roast meats, but the choice of the veg was a little disappointing. Dim sum was run low and not replenished, but other food was plenty and all good quality. Staff are pleasant and only marked the star down as they don't seem to ask if you want any more drinks, namely beer, and they seem to just grab plates and go, a little more interaction would make it a better experience.

Fantastic restaurant for the people of Lincoln and beyond. We live about 40mins away and feel it's worth the travel. I guess the best way to explain it, is like a mini Cosmo. It has a little of everything, inc. Japanese, Chinese, Sunday dinner, Italian, American, fast food, salad, a fantastic dessert range, including freshly made crêpes. Happily recommended to others. From a cost point of view, for an adult on a Sunday was like £24. Which was unlimited food, and unlimited soft drinks. For the quality of food, it was so worth it.

I had a fantastic experience that was worth every penny. The service was excellent, offering a diverse selection of food. The seafood was particularly impressive, and the desserts were delicious.It's 5/5.

After reading the mixed reviews online, we decided to try this for ourselves. The restaurant was busy, as it was 6pm on Saturday evening. We paid on entering and selected the refillable soft drinks. We were showed to our table and the layout was explained to us. There was a great selection of food, Indian, Chinese, Roast dinner, Sushi, Soup, Pizza, Salad, Pasta, Sushi and Teppanyaki. The dessert station included fresh crepes, waffles, chocolate pudding, fruit, ice cream and a variety of cakes. Although it was full, there were lots of fresh dishes coming out and being topped up, so a little patience was required. Food was hot and fresh. The refillable soft drink it a great option too. Please give this a try, £21 for all you can eat, for hot tasty food it great value for money at the weekend. The decor and seating is comfy and most importantly clean. We will be back very soon. We loved it.

Great food many options available including halal options and more. The staff were very friendly and professional and the food had very good quality. Food options, sushi bar, roast meat and kebab bar and theres italian food with a chef there if you want certain customization.

came here for my birthday meal, surpassed my expectations. went at 6pm on a saturday, £20 pp and £3.90 extra for bottomless drinks from the soda fountain. wide range of food such as pizza, garlic bread, donner meat, carbonara, indian curry, chinese curry, variety of seafood, sushi and some other basics like chicken nuggets. desserts such as chocolate pie, apple pie, crepes (made fresh at request with fruit!), cake slices like carrot cake, a chocolate fountain with different fruit selections and a lot more. everytime we finished our plate, they came to collect it, and you can go to get a fresh plate from the hot plate stack near the pizza area. very very clean tables, plates and cutlery, top quality food and a lovely atmosphere. if it is within 5 days of your birthday, if you book a table and call ahead, you get a free tesco birthday cake, they bring it out with a candle and play happy birthday over the speakers. the man who showed us to our table was very informative and explained everything to us as it was our first time, and the staff were incredibly friendly. will definitely be coming back in the future. first photo is my first plate (i eat very basic food, please dont take this as an accurate representation of their range), cheese pizza, gammon slice, beef slice, lamb skewers, garlic bread, chinese curry and chicken nuggets. second plate, more cheese pizza (what can i say?), crispy duck, indian curry, chinese curry (had to go back for seconds) some kind of bbq rib? i have forgotten, crispy duck and one singular chicken drumstick you are able to park in the car park in st marks square, and from what i remember there may have been stairs down from the entry area to the dining area, but otherwise it was completely flat.

Lovely place to eat. Staff were very polite and helpful. Would recommend eating here to all family and friends.

Food was ok, some of it was a bit cold and stale though, and the trays weren't being refilled regularly enough. Also the tables were clumped too close together and it was difficult to walk around as a disabled person, and the fire alarm kept going offf. Staff were nice and toilets were clean too

Amazing food, amazing service and plenty of choice + fresh sushi and crepe bar. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy

Been wanting to go since it reopened and never had the time so went for a little date. Went in at 14:00 to be told it shuts in an hour we said this is fine. Shown to a table explained how it all works. Approached the buffet section and well what a disappointment there was next to nothing there no chips, prawn toast, noodles, duck (everything to do duck pancakes but no duck) no pizza no pasta no crepes no waffles no chocolate fountain a bits of stale cake left and what made it worse we sat down ate went to go back up after only having a scrap of omelette and some “coke chicken” and then all the staff came for there lunch with bowls and tubs and when we went back up there was literally scraps left. Hardly an all you can eat very disappointed.

Vesta cancelled our booking for 26th December giving us only 4 days to find an alternative for our granddaughter's birthday meal. Now I will start ringing around to see if another restaurant is available. Very disappointed.

Booked as a member of a party of 25, so the table took a while to become available after our booked start time (understandably as it was very busy). The variety of food on offer was amazing. Great sushi, noodles, meats, onion rings, soups. The deserts were great too, from classic jelly to different pastries and profiteroles with a chocolate fountain. A great price point for the amount of food and drink options available! Would definitely recommend.

It's ok but not really global food. Selections are mainly Asian and UK style Indian with some UK food. I can understand why, as an all you can eat buffet needs the cheapest ingredients to make money. One issue I noticed was when quite some food over cooks in the hot holds making it dry a tuff. Drinks are expensive, but soda is bottomless. Front of house staff were outstanding and very friendly and attentive. The sushi bar was very good as are the pancakes, I assume that is always being freshly made Access for the mobility impaired is ok. For those confined to a wheelchair you probably need able body assistance. There could be other entrances and accessible toilets, but I did not see either. Over all good and band points, but worth a visit.

Great selection of food freshly prepared. Something for everyone plus lots of different deserts. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Will definitely visit again. Good value for the quality and selection of food available

Been twice now, once midweek during school holidays which was a better experience, better quality food which was always well stocked. The last visit was a Saturday evening, which was poorer quality and lots of empty places where food should have been. It was busy, but not anything out of what should be expected really. Will I go again, probably. Would I recommend it to others, yes. But it seems very hit/miss dependant on when you go. When it's good, it's really good with helpful and attentive staff.

It's advertised as international food, it's just Chinese place, nothing special, with some pizza, a roast that's not very good, and some sushi that over cooked rice and not very good. The Chinese food is very nice. Desserts were nice. Price is way too much for what's on offer. This is the main reason I won't go again over priced. The staff are very friendly which very good. Much better than most places.

Very good food, high level of quality 👌 well done. Very good service, nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed this visit.
