Kaspa's Desserts in Lincoln

Was told to wait until we could be seated. Took over 10 minutes just to order. Food comes at different times at least 5 minutes apart. Lots of shouting across the restaurant from one member of staff which wasn’t the nicest. Some lovely members of staff but unfortunately wasn’t a good visit.

since old manager left and all other staff members changed this place is race to the bottom. i placed delivery order and i could track the driver waiting there for 30 mins. finally he called me and said they just ignore him. he said they were just doing instore orders and make him and other drivers wait forever. i am also paying customer and using delivery service shoudnt make difference to service provided…

Waste of money in having waffle.. hardly 2 strawberries sliced on the top with barely drizzled chocolate sauce which made it more dry 👎

Came in for an after dinner dessert. Had to wait to get a table despite not many customers. Low volume music, with little to no atmosphere. Table orders took 15-20 minutes and were bought out separately.

The crepes were freezing cold and so tough we could barely cut through them! And the cheesecake was still so frozen that a saw couldn’t hack through it. Vile.

Over an hour late, then had two items missing, store weren’t bothered. Driver also spilt whole milkshake all over boxes.

I ordered a chocolate cake and for 7 pounds and 50p it was the smallest slice i spent 33 pounds on the order and the only good thing was my boyfriends crepe im really upset about this because thats all my wages gone now and i just wanted something nice coz ive never tried kaspas before.

£7.55 for an 8th of a less than average shop bought standard slice of chocolate cake is imo pure extortion! This company knows it attracts younger people mostly and takes advantage of that in their prices. Absolute rip off! Got a delivery order and unless the driver had eaten 3 quarters of it on the way, it was no way £30 worth of cake and a crepe, neither was it that special tbh. I was expecting a triple layered giant slice of chocolate cake for £7.55 .....not a rock hard cold transparent piece, never again.

Had a little miss hap with food orders with the table next to us. But overall awesome place to go .

Avoid ordering from here. We were both given laughable portions of ‘gelato’ - absolute minuscule amounts. What a waste of money.

No labels on the food or drinks so wasn’t sure which one is which- not good when you have allergies! The ice cream was not good quality only a smudge

Special mention to Josh for going above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Kaspas should be proud to have a staff member like him.

The waffles are very tasty, but the crepes are not so good.They are like rubber. Twice time the staff served my latte with a short teaspoon, good thing there was a fork to stir the sugar🙂. As a dessert house it would be good to have more choice of cakes but not from wholesalers.

My nan is elderly and severely disabled meaning she cannot walk. We waited outside the designated disability door. We rang the doorbell and waited 5 minutes i went inside and asked if they could open the door they said yes just one minute. Went back outside and waited an EXTRA 10 minutes whilst it was chucking it down with rain. They never opened the door and we left. Inside looked very UNDERSTAFFED considering there was an event on and alot of people wanted to enjoy the venue i saw around 10 people walked out within 5 minutes!!

Absolutely horrible, half and hour wait for food and drink. Never gonna come back.

This place is an absolute joke. How do you miss an entire waffle but send the ice cream for it 😂 then was told I have to go through just eat for a refund because they can’t do anything. Not paying again for it then paying again for delivery. Don’t order from here!

Went with my daughter and friends. We are order two ice-creams exactly like on the menu picture and cold coffee and cappuccino. We received ice cream without waffles, cappuccino was like an amercano , cold late coffee looks different from the picture and boring. Overall the staff doesn't seem professional and enjoyable their job.

Wow! Absolutely awful!! Asked for hot apple crumble and arrived still cold. Kids food was incorrect. Just rubbish!!

Very good, the food was just a bit sickly and it would be better if I had a little more ice cream on my Banofee.

The food was ok the crepes go hard after a while the dough is so filling you can't finish it but other than that it's amazing

One of the best places I can go for desserts best options and its so good that it's hard to finish it all. The atmosphere is really soothing and the service is better then I could imagine. Jack age 13

Cold sundaes arrived melted. Whipped cream had 'deflated'. Delivery driver went to other drop offs further away first. Terrible delivery service.

Went in for a waffle for myself and a sundae for my daughter. The waffle was little more than lukewarm dough covered with fruit and chocolate sauce. Very expensive and ultimately quite disappointing

My food was chewy and cold, staff don’t smile Would not recommend

It's a decent enough place but a shadow of what it used to be. The food is very expensive for what it is and the selection of options is a lot smaller than it used to be. Everything is now focused on chocolate or syrup based toppings with little to no options of fresh fruit, apple pie, cinnamon, etc.

Service was shocking, staff was very quite, desert expectation where nothing compared to the advertisement.. wouldn’t recommend.

Week 3 of no refund. Kaspa's still owe me a refund for messing up my order. And an update to their response, after replying to my previous review. They told me to contact them via their form to "investigate further" I just keep getting a poor generic response says " we can't do anything blah blah blah contact just eat" Not even offering to help by contacting just eat and telling them to refund me. We have tried contacting just eat for a refund but they are refusing too, why are we doing this? Kaspas messed up our order and we phoned the store, the person who we spoke to told us we can refund it through just eat. BOYCOTT! THEM!!!! WE WILL NO LONGER BE ORDERING FROM KASPAS

A bunch of liars / scammers Ordered from the kaspas Lincoln store via just eat, and they sent a the order with a missing item. We phoned the store stating this and they said, we can get it refunded through just eat and to order again and refund again as a good will gesture. Just Eat has refused to refund on both claims after explaining the situation and phoning kaspas again a week later they told us there's nothing they can do. A company to not trust.

The best tasting thing I’ve ever tried

Ordered four items, the most expensive item was missing. Called the store, they said to reorder the item and they would refund it. Reordered the item with all added charges (delivery, service fee etc) which came but an email stated it couldn't be refunded. Sent justeat an email, they stated they looked into it and still couldn't refund. Rang Kaspas and they said to open a ticket with justeat as they couldn't do anything and they couldn't refund it on their end. What a waste of time and money.

Some staff members were very rude but some also lovely. We waited 5 minutes at the till to be served (it wasn’t very busy) it was only as prompted by another member of staff that we were served. When the food came it was slammed down at the table we weren’t asked who’s was who’s

Bannoffee waffle, delicious could have done with being a little warmer but still delicious. Good arrived on time.

First time going here and I was very impressed I love desserts and the dessert that I got was fantastic it was a kinder Bueno chimney it's a little pricey but you do get a lot of the chimney and it does fill you up it is worth it and I will return and when it's your birthday if you can prove it's your birthday with I'd you get even a slice of birthday cake or a free smoothie

Great place, my daughters favourite place to visit in Lincoln, staff are friendly and welcoming, the menu is full of a variety of sweet treats, we ordered via the app which is very easy to use and stress free, didn't have too wait long for our food or drinks. Our desserts were fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Great for a sweet treat after a girly shopping trip round the city

At this point we walked out because there was no indication of how much longer we would be standing around in the front entrance for no apparent reason. Seriously, what is customer service coming to?

absolutely amazing. fantastic food and service, i enjoyed the food the most bc i enjoy everything i eat. i’m such a big backed whale and i ate all the food i ordered (12 waffles and 6 bowls of ice cream) i recommend coming here if you’re a fatty just like me! ☺️😘😜😊😇

Initially on arrival, we were greeted with the staff being unwilling to open the door with an access ramp. Very unhelpful considering we had a pram to deal with, this was followed by pretty poor customer service throughout. Wouldn't recommend.

Staff refused to unlock the disabled access door to get in to the restaurant for us. Offered to help us up the stairs instead.. not acceptable!

My fault for not looking properly but it is really expensive for what little you get and I didn't get any cream with my waffle which I'm pretty sure I ordered. I was disappointed with the taste too. The milkshake was ok but was expecting it to taste more of the malteasters and not of the milk, it was pretty bland. I won't be going back

My milkshake was in a small cup. Have you changed the sizes of them? If so, won’t be ordering again.

Order was not only significantly late but I dont think a DONUT with bananas on it can be classed as a banoffee cheesecake

A pleasant visit spoilt by having only a small ‘scoop’ of ice cream on the Bueno Dough making it too dry to finish. This appears to be a trend as I’m sure I’ve seen other reviews saying the same. Shame as the rest of the desserts were fine.

We order the banana berry crepe which I would recommend. We also ordered a vanilla ice coffee and a caramel iced coffee but they dint taste as nice as we thought.

The service was very good but the desserts weren't anything to go out my way for aside from the bubblegum ice-cream. We tried the red bull fusions and almost felt like I'd developed type 2 diabetes 🤣 we imagined them to come with berries but instead it was redbull with more sugar syrup basically.

We sat in a box, tiles around were very dirty so was the table. We gone for toilet as having a little child and they were honesly disgusting. Pee all over the seat, not flushed and smely. The restaurant was half full and we still did jave to wait to be seated as there were no cutlery ready. Staff wasnt very friendly. While taking the order the girl by the till didnt look interested in my order at all. Didnt asked if we want any drink as i forgot all about them. I will not come here again!

Fancy interior, very like an American diner. Music playing and an all around nice place to be in. Food is absolutely delicious, definetly recommend coming for yummy deserts. Lack of staff when I first arrived and waiting to be seated but served fairly quick after being seated.

The experience turned out to be a lot better than I'd expected no thanks to some of the other critical reviews I'd seen prior. The kids loved the food and thought it favourably to another competitor. I still think the competitor wins. After ordering the food and drinks were served very quickly and all together. With hindsight, I could have paid for just an hour. It was lunchtime and there weren't many people eating. The Buenos waffle was great and easily the favourite for us. I'd recommend the place.

Fantastic really great sundae , all 3 of us had great food really enjoyed it. Definitely come again, loved the look, style and atmosphere.

Really quite disappointed with Kaspas. Very expensive but certainly didn't stand out quality wise. It's a huge place that was very empty and so didn't really have an atmosphere. We spent £60.00 in here and didn't feel like we had received value for money. It's all very processed with no real individuality. I had fudge cake which was nice but no better than you would get fro a Lidls frozen cake. I don't think we would go back, there was 5 of us and no one was overly impressed. Service was fine, staff were polite and friendly.

Rather disappointed in the quality to price ratio the sundae was by no means worth £10 and the waffles are definitely smaller than previous. Overall not worth the money I paid

Ordered 2 x choc and nut milkshake and there was barely any flavour, was like a vanilla shake.

I get the same thing every time (strawberry indulgence crepe) which is amazing

Ordered Dessert on uber and they weren’t even half full just a rushed order i wouldn’t mind if they were cheaper but when your spending £10 per sundae and they aren’t even full is so disappointing.

Absolutely shocking stuff unfriendly, miserable and unmotivated practically just chucked your on the table. I order a crepe it was stone cold and hard then my partner ordered a bubble tea and he had to drink it with the standard straw as they had no more large ones so couldn’t get any of the bubbles not very happy overall terrible experience.

I was there for the first time and not the last, very nice service and delicious desserts. SUPER! 🎂

We arrived to be told we’d have to wait to be seated despite there being loads of tables free. When I queried this I was told they’d run out of plate and cutlery! Less than half the tables were occupied at this time. Once we got seated and we ordered the desserts came reasonably quickly. The food was okay but nothing spectacular given the price of a sundae was £8.95. There was radio playing in the background which was a local station complete with regular adverts. When you look past the fancy seating and lights the place looked a bit scruffy and unkempt. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Took about 20 minutes to be seated even though there was lots of free tables , drinks where over prices . Other than that the food was nice but the staff weren’t very talkative and made you feel like a nuisance

This Place Does Your Desserts Correctly they Have Sundaes,Waffles Etc And Do Glass Bottles For Coke But Still Fantastic

food was amazing only downside is that the waffle was a little cold still tasted amazing tho would recommend.
