Vespers Belgian Beer Bar in St Edmundsbury

Just want to give a big thank you to Vespers , Max and the Team We booked a table for there October beer festival We got there excellent service, excellent beers 🍻 They remembered one of our party requirements from a previous visit They were helpful, informative and fun I certainly recommend vespers as a venue for any occasion

Small bar with several Belgian beers in tap, and interesting ones too. Thiir bottled range also included a super Flemish sour ale which was delicious and just tight for the warm sunshine ! Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

This is a great bar with really interesting beers and friendly, considerate staff. There is a great range of Belgium beers on draught and bottles too catering for all tastes: fruit beers, saisons, dubbel and triples. The staff are always willing to let you try before you buy and you can get flights too if you want to taste a bit of everything. They also often have some American craft beer too.

Thoroughly enjoyed Vespers. So, so many delicious beers. Really kind staff. And just a great place. Staff will let you sample these yum Belgian (and ok, yes I got a delish Dutch bock) beers. Came to Bury St Edmund from Florida to visit the mothership of my fav beer, Old Speckled Hen - Greene Kings tour did not disappoint but Vespers is giving a nice opportunity to continue enjoying great beers (my husband is happily enjoying a Belgian sour) while we're in England that we don't get on tap in the U. Had a spontaneous trip to Bury on the train. Firstly, imagine my delight at finding an awesome shop called Beautiful Beers. The staff member told me that they also owned a Belgian themed bar a few minutes walk away. Naturally I decided to hunt Vespers down. So glad I did. Fantastic selection of Belgian beers on tap, and another 50 or so available by the bottle. Max was a great host, and we had interesting conversations about the Belgian beer scene. If you’re not sure about Belgian beers, give this place a try. Ok, the beers are a little pricey, but it’s about quality not quantity. Really enjoyed my Carolus and Westmalle Extra. I will definitely be back.

A true gem, wish there was one in my town. The best beer around with a really knowledge owner who can match beers to your taste. You can even enjoy a beer in the courtyard with your dog.

There’s a great rotating selection on draft. Also very knowledgeable staff, and plenty of seating upstairs.
