We visited Verdi's today after seeing the Custard Slice on a TV programme recently. Very, very tasty and great quality. The ambience in the restaurant was friendly and warm. We would recommend it to everyone

Love this place. It's a must visit whenever we come to the Mumbles. We did think the portion sizes are getting smaller though. They used to be huge.

Very Clean and well run restaurant. Lots of tables inside and out (needed to be as very busy at 11am) Can order at the counter once you know a table number, or at the table there is a QR code that once scanned takes you to the menu and ordering via this is very easy and quick. Drinks and cake at table within 5 minutes. Very enjoyable visit 👍

Rainy visit to Mumbles, 1st time there. Verdis looked impressive, Ordered 2 Mocha's, a Carrot cake and a Chocolate cake, best part of £18, don't mind if it's nice,sadly was awful,Mocha was lukewarm and looked like watered down dishwater,no real taste, Carrot cake very dry, topping was just icing,no cream cheese, choc cake the same dry and tasteless, we both left drinks and most of cake, well our dog had a bit of Carrot cake ! . Would not go again.

OK for what it is. Not an ice cream lover but welsh cakes are nice.

When there today on my motorbike with a friend and only had a coffee from the little side outlet and sat but the coffee was not very hot it was cold but needing a drink we just drank it but unfortunately at nearly £3 for a cold coffee I will not be returning in a hurry

Bright bustling cafe with great views over Swansea Bay. We only had dessert but it was excellent. You order at the bar which makes it easier to choose your cake

Constantly busy for good reason. Proper food and great coffee. Easy to order from table through the app. The proper Italian dishes are what they do best. But ice cream left a lot to be desired, unfortunately. Place runs a little hot.

Our first visit, fantastic outlook across the bay and as you would expect...busy. There was paid parking close by and some street parking. Good disabled access and clean toilets. The food not cheap but really nice and quick service with the tables cleared and cleaned all the time. There's also a nice choice of cakes and ice creams. Yes I Would recommend but I expect it's very busy on hot days.

Lovely place. Ice cream was one of the best I've ever had. Ordered a rocket lettuce and prawn sandwich, which was average. This was served with crisps and a mixed leaf salad with a thousand island sauce. I've been coming to Verdi's for years - when it gets very busy, a few prompts may be required for food.

Verdi's not only offers delicious food and ice cream but also boasts an amazing sea view. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the stunning coastal scenery. A must-visit for food lovers and those seeking a great atmosphere!

What a fantastic place the service was outstanding and the quality of food amazing and great value for money. Highly recommend anyone to visit this place if in Swansea you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely location but a great shame they don’t have an inside dog friendly area. The weather wasn’t great when we visited and having to sit outside with the dogs was a real disappointment. The outside dog area was full and everyone said the same thing - section off an area inside and welcome people with well behaved dogs or we’ll take our spending power elsewhere.

Amazing place for a snack meal or just coffee and cake. Quality of the food amazing,quantity of food plenty to fill you up. Great menu and don’t forget to check the specials board. Right on the sea front to so lovely views.

We had coffee and a beer today, but I've had food here on many occasions and it's always been amazing. Good choice of light bites, mains and desserts. Always a winner coming here and the view is out of this world... quiet and relaxing Update 3rd October - we had children's spag bol and adults had two toasted sandwiches which were stunning fllowed by the Artist icecream Pallette. Really busy today but food came really quick.

Lovely lunch time buzz here in this popular Mumbles seafront restaurant. The sea defence works have obviously not put off people from enjoying the fare here. The spag Bol and the lamb soup (I would call it cawl)were rich in meat , plentiful and very tasty. The food appeared very quickly after ordering. A good general choice of plates was available and service good. A very positive experience.

Ideal stop off when walking to Mumbles Pier. Good choice of dishes on the menu. Plenty of seating in and outside the establishment. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Best place for ice-cream in Mumbles.

A lovely restaurant at the lower end of Mumbles, just next to the water access slipway. Nice view across the bay if you get a seat near the window, or outside, but it tends to be very busy at the weekends. Great staff, eager to attend to every need, and aesthetics is very nice, it feels like good quality across the board, even the toilets were well kept. The food was gorgeous - very large portions as well, but keep a space for dessert, as their ice cream sundaes are amazing! Not much space for wheelchair access, but no steps, so I'm sure the ever helpful staff would happily accommodate you if asked. Limited gluten free options, I was surprised that the sandwich/baguette section didn't have a gluten free option. There are a few vegetarian options, but again not extensive. The two veggie dishes we went for were delicious. They have specials on the board, so look out for those for extra options. Car park next to (100yds) the restaurant is pay and display, charges are standard for Mumbles area. It's a bit of a walk from here to the shops and other places of interest in the area, but still a lovely place to eat if out for a day in Mumbles.

The thickest hot chocolate I have ever had. Was more of a solid than a liquid. Very rich!

Paid £7.20 for a brownie and tea which is ridiculous. The brownie was dry and bland. The tea was too small.

Excellent. Great location. Delicious pizzas and desserts. Not tried the pasta dishes yet.

I recently visited Verdi’s in Mumbles and was deeply disappointed by the attitude of the manager on duty. During my visit, I observed the manager, a young blonde lady, treating the staff in an incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Throughout the day, I witnessed her making harsh and belittling remarks to the team. It’s one thing to manage staff, but it’s entirely different and unacceptable to demean them in front of customers. It was clear that the atmosphere among the staff was tense and uncomfortable, which seemed to reflect in the overall service. The manager's inability to handle her team with respect and professionalism undoubtedly contributes to the service issues that Verdi’s has been facing. I expect a much higher standard from a place like Verdi’s. I have enjoyed Verids for many years but witnessing such behavior has seriously made me reconsider returning. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that the management takes the necessary steps to address these issues. No one should be subjected to such treatment, especially in a workplace. I popped in for the coffee and some dessert. Because I am a big fan of tiramisu, I choose this traditional Italian dessert and a cup of flat white. The service was fast and correct, I asked some questions and I got the answers, and as I observed any abandoned table around us, was cleaning fast, which is all in plus. I have been recently in another restaurant in Swansea and I saw dirty dishes and glasses on the table next to me for more than 40 min, even though 3 members of waiting team did literally nothing during this period. But let me back to Verdis. The coffee was flavorful and with some latte art on top, the cup and the saucer were clean (I have bad experience with another places) and I really enjoyed my drink. But unfortunately my tiramisu was more than disappointing. Very sweet top made of something, but definitely not mascarpone, no coffee flavour at all and a bit of alcohol taste in the bottom part. I am 47 and it was my worst experience with tiramisu so far. The good tiramisu for me is smooth mix of mascarpone cheese, with soaked in coffee and amaretto sponge fingers, but not through, then mascarpone on top and finally dusted with cocoa powder. This one was miles away from my standard. I recommend the place for the good coffee, fast service, clean place, but I advise against buying tiramisu.

This restaurant has a great position and it’s lovely to sit and enjoy the view. It sits loads of people and does feel a bit like a canteen in the way they serve you but I think because it’s so big it’s the only way they can meet everyone’s needs. Service is quick once the order is placed and the staff were nice and friendly. The tea was tea, the hot chocolate was nice, the chocolate cake was ok and the garlic bread with mozzarella was very disappointing. I’d go back for tea, coffee and snacks again but the garlic bread was one of the worst I’ve seen so probably wouldn’t choose to have lunch or dinner there. Saying that, it was heaving so they must be doing something right. One more thing, the ladies loos are disgusting. I had to squeeze past other people as it’s such a small hand wash area and they smelt awful.

No atmosphere at all. Service was adequate, order at till staff bring food/drinks to the table. No check back. Menu was ok but unispiring. Quality of food and cooking was adequate.

Went to have a milkshake & a cake. Got a cappochino & cake for Cheryl & Sue. The service was good the cake selection was lovely.

Always good for an ice cream and coffee stop on the bike...... handy that can order with QR code from your table outside so don't need to leave bike etc

One of the loveliest café restaurants in Swansea, I love the all around glass windows of the place, the service is prompt, the food is always top quality, specially their pizzas and my all times favourite, the Rustica cake! I recommend Verdi's with confidence!

A very good seaside restaurant with lots of tables. A bit warm and stuffy inside but necessary as it was showering. Nice food, incredibly prompt service by efficient staff. Great ice cream sundaes.

Very generous portion sizes, we shared a pasta dish which was nice but not overwhelmed to go back by it. Looks like predominantly popular for its ice creams and sundaes which did look impressive so would maybe try that next time

Always love coming here. Great place for family and friends to meet with wonderful views across the Bay. Service is great and a good choice of snacks and meals. Good food and although it's not cheap, you are paying for quality. Access is easy as there aren't any steps to enter. Toilets are on location. A must to eat is the ice cream but also a good selection of cakes. Teas, coffees, soft drinks and alcohol available. On a nice day you can sit outside. Will definitely be back.

Good solid food with some nice ice cream options. Just felt like it lacked some personality though. It was a little bit eat and go. But maybe it's because of the sheer size, they do sit a lot of people and service is quick.

Very tasty pizza - Italian ingredients definitely. You have to order your food by the till or by the app.

Been going to Verdi’s for years for their ice cream. Last time it wasn’t as good, this time it was awful. Four of us had two scoops each and we couldn’t tell whose was whose from appearance or taste. Apparently it’s been taken over. Won’t be going there again !

Really nice place to eat at but always very busy. Despite that the staff know what they are doing and everything is efficient. Food is good and the views are pleasant.

One of the places I make sure to come back to each time I return to Wales. The view is incredible (although there is construction going on nearby at time of writing) and the vibe is exceptionally peaceful despite how busy the area can get on nice days. Food is great quality, I recommend the caprese salad, and the coffees and ice creams are also delicious.

Everyone knows verdis is a great place to go, when the weather is nice the views are amazing, food is lovely. Good coffee and a nice ice cream. When the weather is bad like it was when I went, everyone crams in to escape the weather as they have a great indoor area.

Lovely stopped here for a coffee and cake as it was a great spot over looking the sea great views to be had wide variety of food and drink staff are welcoming well worth a visit but it does get busy especially when the weather is nice very popular.

A rare lunch out for Mum between hospital appointments and we dropped in. It was easy to order and the staff were lovely.

We only went to the kiosk, but I was disappointed with my ice-cream, it didn't taste of anything much. I had to ask to see how much they were charging my card, they expected me to swipe my card blind.

We only went to the icecream parlour. Great range of icecreams where my husband had a tub of 3 different scoops. I unfortunately am dairy intolerant so only had a choice of 1 flavour, vanilla which I have to say wasn't great. No flavour and extremely sweet. Very disappointing 😞
