Verdes Sandwich Shop in Daventry

Proper food, great little find. Staff lovely too. Was looking for a sandwich bar in Daventry and couldn't find anything but google led us to this amazing place.

So to start-the food here can’t be faulted. The attitude however can…every time I’ve visited I’ve been treated like an inconvenience as have other people when I’ve been there. It’s a shame as it’s bad enough that it’s put me off going anymore despite the good food

Brilliant local sandwich shop, Rosie & staff are awesome,friendly and helpful.cannot recommend them enough!! 💜 Massive choices of fresh filling for sandwiches, rolls,baguettes, wraps,jacket potatoes and more! tasty homemade treats always available too! Lunchtime boxes always look amazing. They cater for private events and functions too.

Freshly made to order, plenty of choice and very reasonable prices. The Cob rolls are always a very generous size, and always very well received :-) Great village asset, be back soon.

The lady that runs the place is rudest most miserable person I have ever met, she makes Basil Faulty look pleasant, the food is quite nice tho

I had a lovely mothers day afternoon tea delivered this morning, as did my mum from us. Lovely sandwiches, cakes, treats & a scone with jam & cream. Thank you Verdes

Friendly service, great food freshly made , reasonably priced - what more could you need - totally amazing

This morning I promised my son and his work colleague a bacon sandwich and so I called in at Verdes. I ordered 3 sausage, bacon & mushroom baguettes and waited while they were prepared. I was staggered at how much filling went into them, amazing value. Often when you order bacon or sausage sandwiches you get inferior quality, not so at Verdes. I will certainly be calling in there on a regular basis.

This is a gem of a sandwich shop!! If you want a really good, homemade, fresh, filling lunch then Verdes is absolutely worth a stop. Plenty of parking in front of shop, accessed via main car park in long buckby village centre. Always a really good selection of breads and fresh fillings and it's always worth checking the special on the day.... They are normally delicious. Well priced, good value, run by friendly locals... Can't beat it!

Terrible food at expensive prices. Cheap ingredients unacceptable at the prices they are are asking for. Such a shame as it could be so much better

Thank you so much, awesome party bags for the kids with a lovely personalised touch, each of the children’s names beautifully written on the bags. Sandwiches, Pom Bears, Drink, Pot of Fruit and Chocolate Bar. Kids loved ‘em.

Expensive, dirty, poor quality food, miserable staff. Avoid this place. Unfortunately its about the only place locally to get something quickly.

Great place. Had breakfast rolls a few times, also had rolls at lunchtime. Always very good. Staff are really helpful.

Use Verdes for Business Lunches. Always prompt replies via email and go out of their way to help if things are landed on me at the last minute! Beautiful fresh lunches and happy smiley staff!

Several people had said the food is good here so thought i would test it myself. I had been tempted the previous day with the smell of freshly cooked bacon wafting across the carpark.

Lo recomiendo encarecidamente este encantador bar sandwich donde puedes elegir exactamente lo que quieres en su envoltura de sandwich, roll, etc. No escatiman en el relleno y hay mucha variedad. Una gran variedad de patatas fritas!

Found this place by chance. I needed food and had just enough cash for a cake and drink. Cake was excellent. The two ladies were prompt and efficient, friendly and chatty and joined in with my humour. Really felt welcome.

Muy amable la chica que nos servía. No hay opciones para el desayuno, pero era casi la hora del almuerzo, así que suficiente. Las opciones de sandwich gran variedad. Pollo chino era deliciosa, pero el mayo fue abrumador. Pedí una baguette, pero fue más un rollo de sub. Sin duda dar un ir de nuevo. Buena relación calidad-precio.

After first visit proprietor remembered my preferences. Good value for money, I have salad box which is jam packed. Food is fresh and you can request whatever you want to have added/omitted. Exceptionally clean and well presented. Love it!

Long Buckby is really spoiled for choice, and this is no exception. When time doesn't always allow you to relax over a pint or a curry then this wee place will not let you down. Excellent choices and very tasty

Gran servicio, comida fresca preparadas diariamente. Ofertas especiales todo el tiempo para satisfacer cualquier paladar. Este negocio está bien gestionado, muy limpio, con una excelente selección para elegir!

El personal era amable, aunque un poco desorganizado, y nos recibieron con una sonrisa. Después de lo cual, todo fue cuesta abajo. La comida aquí es caro- £3,30 por un panini que estaba hecha de pollo, queso y barato no sazonar y era apenas cocinadas. La comida era sosa y tibio. Viendo el panini, el personal nos quejamos y nos hizo un desastre completo del mismo, poner sus dedos en la comida sin usar los guantes. No lavarse las manos entre obra: acabar bien y tocar la comida, era muy higiénico. Entiendo que estaba cerca de la hora de cierre, pero nos hicieron sentir como un problema. Seguro que decir no viene aquí de nuevo. Es una verdadera pena, porque he tenido comida desde aquí antes, y tanto la comida y el servicio. Tal vez nos dieron en un mal día, pero nos quitó las ganas de volver.

This is perfect for a spot of lunch if you're feeling too lazy to make your own. Nice selection of sandwich fillings or a breakfast

I have been a regular customer since the shop opened. Good quality basics, all made fresh, frequent changes to specials and soup in winter ... oh, and the homemade cakes ... yum!

Nice and friendly welcome whenever you visit, unlike some of the chain stores, fresh sandwiches made while you watch, with exactly what you want in them, can't beat that.

Very disturbing experience, saw the owner shouting at a young girl for buying a coffee and chocolate and sitting outside the establishment. Will never return

Verdes seem to do every filling you can imagine in a great array of breads. I have had many great mixtures of sandwich from there and have never been disappointed.

Food is good and service is friendly. The coffee is OK as well. The breakfast sandwiches are very good also so all in all worth a visit.

Friendly service, good prices, great product. I visit here regularly, even driving past a large "chain" coffee/sandwich shop on my way each day.
