Venice has been open a while but what happens when you take your foot off the accelerator. We go to Venice regularly. We went there last Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday as we walked in we were met with a customer telling the waiter do not insult my intelligence. I am not paying a service charge as there has been no service. Our Ham, Tomato and Cheese Focaccia is usually served with some Tomato, Lettuce and Cucumber with a lovely dressing……this time there was no dressing. The waiter is usually really friendly but couldn’t care less. We ordered tea and had a wait as he disappeared. We were to.d they had run out of dressing. I said not a lot of forward thinking. Try Tesco’s opposite to get it. He said they were understaffed. The next day we were asked if we minded if our Falafel Wrap was not a wrap as they didn’t have any. We had a Tortilla not a good idea. I asked what was goi g on….the response was they hadn’t ordered in. The owner was not there on holiday. The roof was in the place….hardly anyone there and the atmosphere was awful. The place really needs to get its act together.

Met my sister at Warwick Avenue and we visited Venice Patisserie for coffee and cake. We both chose individual cakes from the window display, she had strawberry, chocolate for me. The strawberry was gooey & mega sweet, and chocolate very little flavour. We both felt unwell afterwards, bloated tummy with pain, and strongly suspect the cream may have been off due to being in the window. Whilst the awning was down giving protection from direct sun, it was very hot inside the cafe. Perhaps displaying cakes in a chilled cabinet might prevent further issues. Overall, a very disappointing experience and neither of us will ever go there again.

I walked in and said hello and was met by totally blank stares from the staff. First I sat in the back room but no one came to serve me so I moved to the front room where a member of staff didn't apologise for keeping me waiting and looked at me as if I should not be there. Not once did any member of staff smile or say anything pleasant. I paid the bill and no one said thank you. A truly unpleasant experience never to be repeated

Venice Patisserie has taken over from Raoul’s that shut down over the road. A lovely friendly relaxing place to meet friends and enjoy well cooked food and cakes to die for. The staff are really friendly and helpful and you immediately feel welcome as soon as you walk in.

First thing I noticed about this restaurant was the beautiful orange and purple lighting. They have little lights inside a container as well at the tables. Atmosphere and decor's all part of it isn't it? Not just the food. PS It was lovely food and I enjoyed a chicken and rice dish and Ossmallieh dessert, which I'd never tried before, though have been at loads of Lebanese and middle eastern restaurants!

Wow este lugar es realmente una experiencia. El menú es fantástico, la comida es deliciosa y no mal de precio, pero las bebidas son muy marcadas de aquí. El servicio era bueno, atento, sin exagerar.

I just ordered on TooGoodToGo and the guy handed me a box that was in his display already made up with a small portion of rice with few slices of tomato and a dollop of like curry sauce. I asked him what was it and he said chicken. I found there was no chicken at all when I went home and started eating. I also bought baklava which was tasty. I think it is a rip off, charging for just small portion plain rice and curry sauce with a value of nine pounds.

Zero hygiene, they need someone to teach them about gloves
