Veggie Pret in Hackney

Changed from veggie pret to normal Pret just 3 weeks ago so automatic 1 star for me mehhhh

NB!!! This is NOT veggie fun! I was here today because according to Google it is a veggie fun, but the employee told me that there is no veggie fun anymore. The chain has stopped. There were vegetarian options available, but also meat and fish! Furthermore, 5 stars because fun is always great!

This is the best pret in the whole London! Don’t close it!!!

Give the lady some people skills training! You all know who I am talking about right? The terrible way she treats every single member of the public, who are giving their business and contributing to your wages. It must be so embarrassing for you all. The rest of the team are obviously very efficient at dealing with the afternoon rushes. This isn't Karen's Cafe - it's Pret a Manger! That attitude is really not needed, when the answer is so simple. I come here after my shift and usually order a mocha which is delicious. Also, the food is very good too. Overall, great customer service, good drinks and food!

All vegetarian and vegan Pret in Shoreditch. I wish they had more vegan options and more protein-dense meals. Overall a modern and much-needed concept. We need more Veggie Pret!

Like most other chains currently, I cannot understand why we need music everywhere we go- I was almost alone with my own thoughts for five seconds. Drains also need looking at in the basement, the most horrendous smell

Best thing Pret has done :) It has the most extensive, nutritious and delicious vegan range of any chain I know. The vegan food is not just vegetables but sources of protein too which helps create demand for alternative poteins, better for the climate e.g., vegan N'Duja, egg etc. Please create more veggie prets!

A surviving Veggie Pret, offering a good choice of delicious healthy fast food and drinks. Best of all, there is a good choice of vegan and vegetarian cakes, including vegan almond croissants. Well worth the walk for a special treat 😋😋😋

The best Pret in the Area! Great Customer Service! You will feel like home. From the first second you walk in. They have all the pret options in food and drinks! Toilets are very cleaned as the rest of the shop.

Good coffee and yummy vego food! Was impressed by the offering, then very disappointed by no recycling bin? Makes zero sense given the whole ‘environmentally conscious’ vibe that Veggie Pret is selling. Easy fix..

great concept but the staff isnt very friendly. the staff didnt even say hello when i came in and when i asked for a paper bag, the barista/cashier just watched me awkwardly trying to put my coffee and croissant without spilling it in the bag instead of offering to help… same thing happened to my mom 2 days later.

The staff is very unfriendly and when I asked one of the workers to change the milk with my drink I reived an annoyed response.She made my drink wrong so I had to go back and ask her to make it without coconut milk again apparently you cannot make custom orders without either receiving the original drink or a rude response the drink was very watery and genuinely not good will not be going again if they cannot make drinks based on dietary needs!

Fantastic place with an amazing range, hope these become more common or the veggie/vegan options get drip fed into more Pret’s

Don’t waste your time if you are looking for smoothies or frappes. They always refuse to make it. Pret is going down with this staff.

Normally staff very kind and helpful, however, today I have a bad experience. This lady every time I go there she seems upset with everything. She is a old lady with black hair, please be kind to the people they don’t deserve your bad energy :) I have a lot of love I can give you some if you are kind to me next time.

Has all the best vegan lunch items! The vegan mac and greens is honestly so good. The tofu breakfast baguettes are delicious. Finally some sandwiches that aren't just hummus and falafel. And the vegan bakery has everything you would want. The taste is amazing, they don't make any compromises for it being vegan, which I love! Highly recommend a visit.

Extremely disappointed at the lack of vegan choice for breakfast. Yes, they had several vegan sandwiches but no vegan porridge, yoghurts, pastries, or meatless bacon/sausage style options. I was at the very least expecting some sort of vegan yoghurt. Also, the orange juice was all "best before" today's date and (at least my one bottle) had gone fizzy. I explained this to the staff but they weren't willing to take it off sale as it was still in date. At least they gave me an apple juice to replace it

Vegetarian pret. Very nice selection of vegetarian and vegan food.

They are supposed to make frappes and smoothies (is available on their menu) but only when the baristas are willing to make. I’ve been there many times and they always have an excuse to ‘not be able to make it’. Once it was no ingredients, the other time no juice, the other time because they were closing in 25 minutes and couldn’t make it anymore. Pret, quick question: is there a cut off time for making specifically smoothies? About frappes, never had one there because they have never had available. The only good barista they have there is Kuzi because the few times I was able to get a smoothie there, he was the only one who made it.

Veggie Pret is a heaven for vegan like us. You can find vegan sweet and salt food for every taste from the vegan chocolate croissant to the vegan eggless mayo panino that taste really delicious. My only concern: some of this vegan treat are not healthy as they look. Ok we are doing it for the animals 💚 to don't make them suffer and save the planet but also I do not understand why a super yummy eggless mayo panino to dye for has to have modified starch in it😭???? Something modified is definitely not good for you and for your health. My advice read the ingredients of all your eat all the time 😁... Also PRET you are not getting 5 stars from me because if you have organic coffee and all the amazing organic milks alternative I do not understand why you cannot prepare all this fantastic panini with organic tofu eh😜?????...Maybe something to add to your next ingredients list menu????

Great start to my day today! Greeted with smiles and a complimentary coffee with my vegan pain au chocolat! So nice to be greeted so early in the morning with a smile and a nice conversation. Thank you very much, I'll be back here again very soon

Excellent flat white with rice coconut milk. And sandwiches options are great , lots of variety to choose from. The staff is helpful as well as in all other Pret A Manger locations.

Veggie Pret is one of my fave and I am not even vegan/vegeterian! A lot of different choices and a range of sandwiches, wraps, focaccia ecc all vegan/vegeterian!!! 😍

Great team who work here - always fast and efficient. The choice of food is great, with plenty of new options to try. Great quality food, a noticeable reduction in single use plastic and lots of recyclable / compostable cutlery.

The staff is much nicer here than in other prets.

I go there almost every morning as I have a coffee subscription and the service is not great. The staff is all over the place, when there is more than 3 customers they always forget your coffee and have to wait ages...

I did not realise it before till I came here for my coffee this morning that how a coffee shop can change your day and cheer up your mood .The guy in the till were not just a barista ,when he was taking by order he was so generous to make me feel comfortable to place my order that I forgot where I was in .It seemed to me that I am a guest in his house . Thank you so much PRET to choose the right person to make everyone’s morning beautiful. I will come shoreditch again and again to have my coffee in PRET. Best of luck ❤️

If you get a frappe or a smoothie on the weekend depends on who's on staff that day, some members will refuse to do them on weekends

It is a good option for vegans who need something on the go. They do a super good eggless baguette that you cannot get at regular Prets

The seating area downstairs is a great place to sit and work for a while, and there is a spotless toilets. As far as I could tell the coffee was just as good as anywhere else. There was no shortage of things to consume, but of course there were meat-free.

Absolutely adore this place. In and out super quickly, and my sandwich choice was always good and always available. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

A functional, if rather industrial Pret, which is probably dress code for the ever-unpretty Great Eastern Street. If you like eating beetroot on a helipad, this is your spot

This is a well sited and vibrant cafe. I’ve started visiting early most days for porridge and they make superb porridge which is hot. The coffees are also good.

✓ All Vegetarian with Vegan Options WHAT I HAD: Vegan Mac and Greens [£5.50]; Almond and Blueberries Smoothie [£4.79] The Vegan Mac and Greens had zesty breadcrumbs with a hint of mustard in the creamy sauce. Pasta wasn’t soggy, sauce was creamy but still light and fresh from the herbs and tang. Chunks of cauliflower in the mix too for a crunch. Juicy tomatoes. Reasonably priced with the great flavours and delicious Mac and Greens! The almond and blueberries smoothie was good too. Of course everything was vegetarian, but I would love to see more vegan options... there was only about 10 Vegan options in total, most of which I have seen in regular Pret shops. So, if you're vegan, I wouldn't say it is worth purposely making a trip here unless you're in the area.

What a lovely service. Lady who served us was so nice! Food was also great, had a porridge and a rice and coconut latte while my partner had a ragu and red pepper wrap. Highly recommend!

You'd think the "Veggie" Pret is to attract people who don't eat dairy/animal products or find products that are not available at the other Pret A Manger. It's quite disappointing as 80%+ of their product are vegetarians only. Everything could be made without the cheese, seriously. We can find the same stuff at every other regular Pret A Manger in London. Job half-way done. It would be great to have MORE. VEGAN. OPTIONS.

We arrived quite late in the day, so the selection of food available was rather limited. The two staff at the tills were so friendly and the downstairs seating area is very relaxing too. Will definitely come back again.

Super salty. Bought 2 items with eggs in them 2 weeks ago. One was the baguette with eggs and avocado. And another was the sandwich with eggs and crest. Both times the eggs were overly salty! It was never like this before. Today, it is back to normal. Please maintain your food quality, Pret. Thanks.

Nous y avons pris tous nos petits déjeuners. Le personnel, bien que peu nombreux reste sympathique. Les produits sont frais et très bons. Il y a sans doute du wifi, mais il ne marchait pas très bien. Les Vegans seront au TOP... mais les autres pourront malgré tout se rabattre sur les viennoiseries ;)

Super concept ! Il en faut davantage. On en veut aussi en France ! Encore trop peu de produits vegan (quelques viennoiseries vegan ne seraient pas de trop) mais j’y ai mangé de très bon sandwichs et un porridge excellent que je tente de refaire chez moi, en vain. Je recommande fortement Veggie Prêt !

lovely service, excellent range of vegetarian options from filled flat breads to soups. there are two floors for seating and toilets, would recommend if you're in a rush and need to dine on the go, or for meeting a friend.

This is a vegetarian/vegan only Pret sandwich shop on the Great Eastern Street of Shoreditch. You can see quite a lot of veggie soups, sandwiches and salads along with hot beverages, pastries and snacks. There’s a seating downstairs which I think is quiet and secluded which I think is a plus for this sandwich shop. I can see there are a lot of newer additions to the menu recently and for once I can say there’s no way the guys in the kitchen could’ve mis-handled my vegetarian sandwich as no meat across the whole shop (I was put off with a local Turkish Street food bar when I noticed ladies were handling my holoumi with the same hands that handled beef and beacon, not even change of gloves!) Service isn’t exceptional but bearable.
