Veeno Banbury in Cherwell

We visited Veeno today for lunch. We had the best meal and we’ll certainly be back. I can’t believe we haven’t discovered this gem before. We had garlic bread and pizza, both of which were the best we’ve ever tasted. They came with olive oil and balsamic dip which was gorgeous. They also gave us some truffle oil to dip the pizza crusts in which was soooo good and different. They had a huge selection of wines and their house red was delicious. I had to have a second glass 😋. Can’t wait to return to try more of their menu. Thank you for a fanatic relaxing lunch x

Great wine, tasty food, very friendly and knowledgeable staff who take pride in explaining each of the wines to you. My wife and I had a great evening here and look forward to coming back soon.

Nice and clean, friendly staff, great cocktails, really tasty food but such a small portion. I could have eaten the meal again maybe twice, had to eat again when I got home. Overall was really nice and would visit again.

Can't believe it took so long for us to visit here. Quick and simply; great food, lovely drinks, brilliant and friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Definitely great for friends and couples. Have already booked to go again.

Myself and two friends visited Veeno for drinks and a meal. We were greeted by a very smiley, helpful waitress who could not do enough for us all evening. The cocktails and wine were delicious and high quality and the food was beautifully presented and very yummy. I have lived around Banbury all my life and this is just what is needed in the town. I highly recommend it. Will be back soon.

Fabulous food. Service was great for us but could be seen as slow if you were on a tight schedule. Wonderful waitress! Wine is up there in price.

We called in on the off chance there would be a table and we were warmly welcomed by Ali and Susanna who were so friendy. The food, drinks and service were all amazing and we will definitely be returning soon!

Went for an Italian Prosecco afternoon tea. Was lovely way to spend an afternoon. Great food and wine. The bar manager/server Ash was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Will be going again to try the pasta and pizzas and more of the wines. Highly recommend

Visited as 2 couples. I was worried that other reviews said the service was slow and there was a long wait for food. We didn't have any issues , everything went smoothly. Food and wine was good. One small criticism- the wine glasses are those unfeasibly large goblets that are impossible to drink out of and we were terrified of knocking over.

I visited Veeno Banbury after a long work week and was immediately made welcome by a member of staff called Matteo, who took my order and seated me by the bar. I ordered a couple of cocktails - a Negroni and a Sicily - which were by far some of the best I have ever had made by Zuzanna. I finished the evening with a glass of their wine which was from the owners Family vineyard; which they called The richest and it really delivered on that name. Amazing experience, and I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

The hidden gem in Banbury! I was served by Zuzanna and she was amazing! attentive, friendly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. The food is delicious and authentic. A very cosy atmosphere and I will definitely be back again soon.

My mum and I had the Wine Tasting experience and it was amazing! The wines are so delicious and they give you plenty of food for a real feast! Zuzanna served us at the Banbury restaurant, she was warm, attentive and very knowledgeable about the wine she was serving. I want to go back already!

I’ve been to Veeno’s now three times and each time has been consistently amazing, great cocktails, great food and amazing friendly staff! Usually when I go to an Italian restaurant I get a pizza but the pasta here is too good to pass up! Definitely would recommend the mushroom pasta! Will be going here regularly from now on!
