Absolutely wonderful place! The vibe , the service and the food spot on! We ordered the small plates , generous portions and super delicious! Highly recommend!

This is my new coffee heaven! I usually have at least 6 sachets of sugar in my coffee. However, the coffee is so good that, for the first time ever! I had it without and, OMG! It was the best thing I've ever had! EVER!!!

Nice ambience, good pizza and fries, we had a great time. We missed Pizza Forks to cut our pizza. ;)

I had an amazing experience at Vardo with my friends and met a lovely lady called Rochelle who was absolutely amazing and very welcoming she made my experience absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend and will be coming back again soon. :)

Cool place to be and be seen (?) when you’re in the area or after walking around Saatchi Gallery and need a bite or drink. I ordered the burrata and croquettes from the small plates section and it was 50/50. I love me a burrata but the addition of black garlic, chili paste etc just drowned it out and the flavours don’t really go well together. I got some bread to see if that helps and it did by a bit. The croquettes were good though. If I come back, I’ll avoid the burrata and definitely try other things on the menu.

It was quite good but the dishes lacked finesse for me. I would have preferred my avocado toast with sliced ​​avocado and not pureed and the bread was quite average.

Such a great place for a delicious lunch, something for everyone, although today we had a selection of the small plates which were all amazing, especially the spicy cauliflower! Would recommend as a great break from work or shopping!

The wait staff seemed very unhappy.

Went for lunch after a visit to the Saatchi Gallery. The food was excellent and, even better, the acoustics were OK (so rare in restaurants these days) so we could have a conversation!

Plus, he really takes the time to chat and get to know you, making every visit feel personal and special. You can tell Dev genuinely cares about making your experience unforgettable. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, you always leave feeling like you’ve made a new friend! Seriously, their service is one of the best parts of going to Vardo!

It’s a great spot to check out near the Saatchi Gallery. The hot smoked salmon grain bowl was absolutely delicious. If the sun’s out, it’s definitely worth sitting outside and soaking it all in.

Wonderful food and very attentive staff. Flavours were incredible and the setting is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast on a quiet morning.

The service was disappointing. I had to ask three times just to get chili oil, and the girl in the reception, who was also serving, was quite rude. It made the experience frustrating.

Excellent establishment, near the gallery, very well located, with an excellent terrace and a very beautiful view, you should not miss its homemade tiramisu, we have decided to return there often, I recommend 😉

A great place for breakfast, even better when it is quiet! We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast one wet January morning. I had heard of queues in peak times but we were seated immediately with quick order taking. Breakfast options included 'traditional' English breakfast, granola, porridge, fresh fruit and a selection of other cooked breakfast options. All the breakfasts were quick to arrive, hot and tasty. There were plenty of options for a vegetarian. The comfortable chairs and cool music made for a relaxing breakfast, with great music on the sound system.

Came in for a drink yesterday evening (Tues 15/1), greeted by an extremely nice guy at the door, fancied some cocktails and was helped by 2 guys at the bar who were quite knowledgeable when it came to cocktails, I left happier than I came in. So thank you for the great service. Keep up the good work.

The food was super delicious. I recommend the Halloumi dish. The pancakes are delicious but very sweet (perhaps you can ask if they can put the sauce on the side and then you decide how much to add) the bacon is delicious. Place to repeat

I had a really disappointing experience at Varda. One of the staff unhelpful, the other seemed completely unaware of how the order system worked, which just added to the confusion. Overall, the service was a mess, and it completely ruined the dining experience. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to anyone. There’s much better service to be had elsewhere.

Admittedly it was quite busy so our attempt to get a table was a tall order but the maitre d’ was pretty unwelcoming, suggesting that we wait outside for our table - note it was about 6 degrees and we had a baby with us in a stroller. Wasn’t the sort of place that I would be spending my money with that service mentality.

My 2nd visit this week - delicious meal, lovely atmosphere and superb service. A special mention for Jason - one of us had a specific dietary issue that caused some confusion in the kitchen but he took over handling it and really went over and beyond to make sure that the dish was appropriately prepared that we were happy with it. He really sets a standard in hospitality! Will definitely visit again soon. Thank you Jason!

Poor service. A modicum of style would be expected from the staff. Maybe a dress code? Uniforms? Some training?

Had a dear friend join me in London for a few days, so decided to take them to meander through Chelsea and stumbled upon Vardo. We enjoyed a rather pleasant evening here on a very busy, festive-fuelled Saturday. Service from both Tahera and Roshauna (who seemed to balance the floor well between them), was attentive and nothing too much of an ask. The 'Hot Neighbour' cocktails made by José went down brilliantly as we pondered what to eat between us. We shared two small plates, followed by a large plate and a few sides. Being gluttonous, I ordered the caramelised brioche which capped everything off just delightfully. I would not hesitate to return for a quick bite or a leisurely meal in the future. Went here on a Sunday evening with a booking. The food was excellent, it arrived quickly, and we stayed here for a while without any pressure from the staff to leave. Lovely overall

Nice layout and design; extremely uninterested staff, dirty toilet area and food very mediocre; unhygienic - our friend dining with us came down with food poisoning which was definitely from lunch; It’s a shame as it’s in a great spot and looks good - they simply don’t care about service or food.

The atmosphere is nice in there but the food is nothing special, not lots of options and I ordered the rice bowls and it was a mixture of cold and warm not sure if it was just not hot enough/ heated and everything was pickled not fresh veg, not a fan..

Service was poor, no eye contact.. plenty of staff but no attention to customers. Hot chocolate was not hot.. had to send back. This seemed like an inconvenience to them not an opportunity to display good customer service. Toilets were dirty… First time and defo the last time we will cake here.

Lovely place. Seating inside and out dogs are only allowed outside. Nice food, clean unisex toilets 🚻 Nice fluffy mats on the chairs 💺 outside o great for the dogs lying on the cold 🥶 floor. Interesting things on the menu and Nice nicer to eat there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is located in a fabulous place in Chelsea with a fun vibe around town. A must visit while there is Partridges esp if your a tourist. It's on the same lines as Jollys or like its own little Harrods. A fun place to visit 😊 nice atmosphere but could do with some outside heating, which wasn't offered if there was any. I would return if in the area, so it must of been nice. Thank you for a pleasant visit. I enjoyed trying the little lamb sausages.

Everyone were so lovely and taken care of us from the moment we arrived. Food was delicious and I cannot decide which one was my favourite one as I loved all of it. The suggested sauces for the pizza crust were absolutely spot on and I'm a fan now. Big shout out to the team there, we had another fantastic evening.

I absolutely LOVE Vardo Chelsea ❤️‍🔥 come here for my “Turkish eggs” breakfast quite often and the chef never failed to deliver the BEST quality food! All people who work there are always friendly and very cute! Overall, summer outside or winter inside Vardo is one of my fav places in Chelsea, thank you, guys!! 💞

A nice place but the service was pretty amateur - not bad, but more like it's done by inexperienced kids. Seated then no one came to be our waiter for ages, until we flagged someone down (not particularly easy as the people wandering about aimlessly were avoiding looking at that customers, not just us!) Had different people serving each time and they all had a fairly clueless vibe except for one more senior person, and even she whipped away some of our dishes before we'd both finished. Then a new guy eventually came to take our dessert order but acted like we'd just arrived (plus he checked our allergies even though the initial server hadn't). It's not the specific points, more the amateur vibe throughout. On the more positive side, the food was tasty and original flavours (although I'd say it was only fair value given the portions and underwhelming service)

The food here is delicious, especially the Tiramisu, and the service is always exceptional. I come here regularly and the staff are always incredible personable, especially Rochelle who served me today.

A pesar del hermoso lugar, el servicio, el personal y las bebidas eran pobres. Tuvimos que esperar siglos para pedir nuestras bebidas que resultaron ser promedio. Luego tuvimos que pedir cortésmente la factura 3 veces y todavía no se nos trajo. El personal parecía tan tranquilo y tenía una mala actitud. No volverá.

We visited Vardo with a friend for a quick coffee. Unfortunately the staff take ages to attend your table and take your order. Following that, we ordered 2 drinks and a Tiramisu. All three items arrived at separate times but most annoyingly all three items took ages to arrive. When our order did arrive. Drinks tasted nice and tiramisu was delicious. It’s sad that the service lets this place down.

The food is very good! Not amazing but very good. We had the poached egg with yogurt which has a chilli oil and it was very spicy. I love spicy food but it was a little bit too spicy. The golden milk was good but too sweet, it had a little bit too much honey with a friend also agreed it was too sweet. Overall is a nice place with ok to good food for me.

No espere una cálida bienvenida! Ni una sonrisa a la vista. El personal aquí actúa como si quisiera estar literalmente en cualquier otro lugar. La comida está bien y la ubicación es genial, pero hay muchos lugares cercanos que quieren que estés allí, Vardo no.

Siraj and Tahera were very polite and gave a really good and welcoming customer service.

Had to ask for someone to take our order, 30 minutes later we were still without coffees, we had to chase the waitress again to be told they’d lost our order, we then said we didn’t have time for the food and could we just have our coffees, 15 minutes later we were still without drinks and left. What a waste of 45 minutes, very disappointing to say the least.

Modern interior with a lovely alfresco area facing the square and gardens, enjoyed brekkie there. Recommend the baked eggs, cornbread, and poached eggs with whipped yoghurt. Generous portions and good coffee.

Beautiful cafe/restaurant design but some items ordered were not available. What We did try was quite tasty, with good quality coffee too. We were hoping to enjoy the rooftop garden above the restaurant but apparently it's closed to the public for the rest of the year!

The food and the atmosphere were excellent, which is impressive given how popular the restaurant can get. The service was amazing, thanks to our waitress Helen, who recommended the sea bass. Will definitely visit again!

We (3 of us) had breakfast there this morning, we made a booking for 9:30am The service was very pleasant, we were served by Toby, he was extremely helpful and a polite, with a nice sence of humour with smiles. A very good service and delicious breakfast.
