Santos (aka Tom Cruise) took excellent care of us. We are visiting from the US and first time at the Science Museum. Food is incredible, coffee is excellent, and atmosphere is splendid. Santos did a great job and made us feel special. Highly recommend.

I went with family to try the new afternoon tea on the gallery cafe at Science Museum and it was delicious . The whole experience with kids is great to make their own experiments , create fizzy lemonade , decorate the cupcake… the kids adore it . The selection of food was great , the team that served us was amazing checking on us constantly . Really great experience !

My partner and I came for the science-themed afternoon tea. Firstly, it took 50 minutes to arrive. For pre-prepared food. We told them that we both wanted the vegetarian option, which they agreed to. I am not veggie, my partner is. When they brought the food they said “because it was last minute, the chef couldn’t change the order”. 50 minutes later. As for the food, the sandwiches were fine. The scones were cold, not freshly prepared. The clotted cream was runny, which for clotted cream is weird. The sweets were mostly tasteless, in particular the jelly which tasted like watered-down passionfruit juice. I asked twice for a lemonade which never arrived. No one came to ask if we wanted coffee refills as promised. Not worth £32, we both felt ripped off. Very disappointing.

Today I tried the the Afternoon Tea with my partner and my young nephew. It was a cool experience different from any other afternoon tea experience, and the service was incredibly friendly. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Adele for being very kind to my nephew.

Carolina is a lovely staff member at the cafè. Food could have more variety, but good quality. Clean, quiet environment, but not much character. All-in-all serves the intended purpose.

The staff all seemed very nice, friendly, and professional. Service, once we eventually got to the counter, was quick and without hassle. My main issue is with the quality of the food in relation to the cost of the food. I have nothing against paying a high cost for high quality food, but this isn't what's on offer. The sandwiches (none of which contained any kind of meat, for some reason) were dry, uninspired, and quite bland in terms of taste. A small, child's "Pip Organic" juice carton was the same price as a whole pack of them would be from a supermarket. The bubble tea was close to £5, for a small cup, and only three available flavours. Avoid this place. Unless you're part of "the other half" and have no issue with spending close to £80 for some sandwiches and drinks for 2 adults, and 5 children, you'll be better off bringing your own food. Wish we had.

For a free museum, I understand that a lot of things have to be compensated. We had a Coca-Cola here and it was quite pricy but the place was very big and had lots of seating options which was nice. The London Science Museum does have a lot of things to see but not many places to sit so I appreciated it when we walked past the gallery cafe and wanted to have a break from touring.

Sciwnce Museum Gallery cafe - cold drinks available but not cold, no ice, average tea. Only two star as my boys enjoyed their overpriced chocolate cake. Sorry but not very busy and not very clean either

After a few hours walking around the Museum we needed a rest. The Gallery Cafe looked very busy but there was more seating available than appeared at first. The food available was not vast but cake, crisps, fresh fruit and a drink was all we needed to power us on for another 2 hours exploring the Museum.

The place is very convenient for a break during the museum visit. The food is fine. We tried pizza, wrap, salad , muffin and carrot cake. It is quite expensive. We spent 50 pounds for 3 people. It is also very noisy. I experience fast service and payment

Not much to say really, just an average cafe. It is a long gallery room as the name of the cafe describes, there is plenty of tables and seating. The highchairs could do with a clean. There is a long pipe which the children can shout down to hear their echos and pictures on the wall very Rolad Dahl style with inventor information. The food was the normal sandwiches and salads, coffees and milkshakes okay priced for the location. Located near the RAF and paid activity area on the upper level.

The chai latte was actually really amazing but the cakes price was quite high and the fact that we have to drink all the drinks at the cafe and we cannot bring it with us made us having to drink it quick. They offer take away option but it was not clear that this meant takeaway to outside the museum. We wanted to have some breakfast but there were no main food warm food options other than sandwiches so having this improved will be great. The carbon neutral coffee is a great idea and wanted to learn more about it.

Most of the photos on this map are *not* the photos of this cafe. This is a small cafe on the second floor with vegetarian menu. It's usually quiet. Staff were extremely well informed about allergy and super helpful. Halloumi panini and beetroot salad I had were scrumptious. Will definitely come again.

I was there with a friend and two kids. We enjoyed a lot! It’s the best option in the museum. They so many vegan options. Kids menu was not vegan. When I asked if they can do a vegan kids menu they offered a great vegan option without hesitating. Staff is smiley and helpful. Also it is much more illuminated than the other cafes in the museum. Their kid menu is healthier than the other one as well (i do not understand why kids menu has never no-nutritional value). We appreciate our experience and we will be back!

Pizza was pretty good and although we visited on Saturday afternoon there was plenty of comfy seating upstairs and access for prams via lift. Tables were clean and there were staff constantly on hand tidying up tables so it didn't have that air of understaffed neglect that some self-service places have when they are busy. It's not cheap but not eye-wateringly expensive either. You'd always expect to pay a little extra eating in these kinds of places.

Benugo's operation. Good food, both hot and cold. If you know Benugo then you will be pleased. If you don't, then rest assured you will get a good quality feed and great coffee's and tea's. Able to cope with allergies which is always a bonus. Free tap water and seating both on the ground floor and above with space for buggies and wheel chairs. A number of high chairs are also on hand which we saw beng cleaned down by staff! To top it off very friendly and helpful staff.

Wanted to have a nice brunch today and ended up with a clear reminder of why Blue Bird has the reputation it does. Might be worth asking the second-floor staff if they’re doing okay, because people who are actually happy, have self-respect, and know the basics of customer service don’t treat clients that way. Ended up dining elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend.
