Vandellas Vintage Tea Room in Ashfield

We was supposed to go to vandellas for mothers day but due to the virus the owner had to close the doors to eating inside. The owners made my family a afternoon tea to takeaway. Even though it would have been nice to eat at tea rooms in the lovely surroundings the owners did not disappoint. They had presented every tea individually for each of us and put a beautiful bow on the box that the tea was presented in. Thank you so much for all your efforts. The Smith family

Myself and 3 friends usually go here for coffee and decided to book for afternoon tea it was lovely very reasonably priced friendly cosy atmosphere

We had an afternoon tea party here for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. The food was beautiful, all fresh tasty and daintily prepared and serviice was good. Unfortunately though, despite advance warning and requests ,there was no catering for allergies ( my grandson has severe peanut allergies) and my request for some sugar free cakes were not met - I am diabetic. I feel that dietary requirements could be given greater consideration here. However a lovely fruit salad was offered and accepted as an alternative to sugar free cakes which was appreciated.

Afternoon tea for two, went with my husband. He enjoyed it as much as I did. Selection of sandwiches and cobs....all with no mayonaise,(excellent) which makes a welcome change. Scones with jam and cream and then the cake ...wow choice of choc/orange or victoria sponge, had to take it home to finish. Pleasant surroundings with friendly and efficient owners and all at a reasonable price. Thank you will be coming again
