Valley Cafe restaurant in Croydon

Ordered a create your own and the option said egg but I wanted scrambled so I updated the notes and requested scrambled egg and well done bacon and both was done 👍🏻 good quality food too

Ordered jacket potato for lunch. First of all no butter so very dry. Opted for cheese and beans, well u could barely see either on the potato. Side salad which was lettuce , 1 slice of cucumber which was shrivelled up and 1 slice of tomato. Not very nice. Wouldn't order again

In coulsdon for my son's Snooker Comp , 3 of us called in here for our dinner , Defo recomend , fresh , tasty, fair prices , Double chips beautifull , Keep Up good work 👍👍

Tasteless, overcooked, burnt onions.

I wasn't sure about ordering breakfast for delivery, but the food arrived in good time and was still hot. Had a cheeky cheeseburger too which was good.

I ordered egg and bacon sandwich and they sent a roll.and the omelette was so over cooked and dry it's inedible..presentation Was so sloppy aswell. tried this cafe numerous times now hoping it would get better but I won't be ordering from here again.

I have been going here for years and i love it. The customer service is amazing everytime. The food is lovely especially the Tea. I recommend Valley Cafe 5/5 amazing.

Im a chef for 24 years, and I’m always come to Valley Cafe to have my breakfast! The best one in town! Nice scrambled eggs, delicious sandwiches and beautiful cappuccino! 5 stars service! Thank you guys to be the best in town!

CHECK YOUR FOOD THOROUGHLY BEFORE EATING! I go here regularly, but have had hair in my food TWICE in the space of two weeks! So will not be returning! The lady who brought the food to the table should be wearing a hair net! You’re handling food!! The first time she was very apologetic, also today. But the male who serves was rude - even had the cheek to try and justify that he had served food with a hair and come to my table whilst my 2nd meal was being prepared and ask if I had been around a dog or something because he FOUND ANOTHER HAIR on the plate!! The hair was buried under the chips on the plate so definitely didn’t come from myself, I do not own any pets and certainly haven’t been around any! I will not be returning to this cafe!!

Rudest staff I have ever come across. The lady serving me insulted me in Turkish with her colleague as I was leaving, not realising that I actually speak Turkish and understood everything she was saying. I will never come back here again!

Food arrived quick and hot however they got the special instructions incorrect as asked for no onion in cheese burger but onion in egg burger but no onion in egg burger but it was in cheese burger. Be mindful as as there could be allergies

The times changed 3 times which isn’t expectable and by the time the food came it was all ruined and the eggs and chicken sandwiches were ruined not happy at all

Have to say they used to be great and good value for money. Went there today and my mix grill had gone up by two pound fifty. So I paid 8pound 75pence and the egg was cold the burger was pink inside . I was unwell that evening so must of been that. My partner had a breakfast which was tasteless and Luke warm and was also I'll. Avoid

Avoid at all costs ... bought a gourmet burger and a 1/2 pounder on the 30/1/2023 and the gourmet burger which I ate gave me food poisoning absolutely horrible food and now I'm ill 🤒 if you value your health and your guts health avoid this place ....DISGUSTING

I've just had a lovely breakfast, and it's such a warm and lovely cafe. Friendly staff and The food and coffee are lovely as are the reasonable prices. Came to Coulsdon on motorcycle to get it serviced so discovered this lovely cafe. Very nice 👍

The service was good but the price and portion size was not great. I had a sausage sandwich and the quality of sausage was poor. I don't think I'd go back.

Great breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. Staff are lovely and I am sure I will visit many times in the future.

Had rant with the owner. i ordered a rasberry juice. I Placed my phone on the contacless card machine, the machine and phone made the usual noise for contacless transaction, the transaction came negative. The machine didnt print anything so i was obviously in doupt, so in order to find out i had to look at my google pay account, the cafe manager insisted that i did'nt pay and continuosly insisted that did'nt pay. I told him look i put my phone on the machine and it made a sound but i need to look on my app. I finally sorted it out but i left crossed. the way he treated me was disgusting. The cafe manager failed to comprehend the basics of english he could of said something like ( your transaction did'nt go through) but instead he yelled at me like if i was going walk out without paying never going in there again

Disappointing as I asked for no black pudding and a hash brown instead and as it was delivered to me sealed in a tray with a lid everything tasted of black pudding. I don’t think I’ll be using this cafe again.

Lovely traditional English Breakfast, which is getting harder to find these days. Very reasonable prices and friendly service too. Possibly the best fried bread in the world.

Quick service good food but customer service could be better

Always go to this café, I make a point of fitting it into my schedule if I can when I decide I'm having a café breakfast... Don't drive or walk past if your hungry, great food and great price.... Only problem is tea is not part of breakfast and has to be bought separately.

Not very hygienic and it smells. Toilets are downstairs and outside not very ideal. Don't recommend it.

Fantastic little cafe, popped in on the off chance and very happily impressed, so much so that I've not even finished the custom breakkie I ordered at 5pm and I'm writing this. I'm honestly glad the Wimpy wimped out and made space for this friendly, family run cafe. Will be making it a regular haunt from now on. 100% Recommendation for this place A+ service, friendly staff and great menu, also custom breakkie to what you fancy.......oh and a nice massive Americano too

This place is a great little cafe with great food. There's so many items to choose from and the breakfasts are lovely! You can also watch the TV while eating.
