A wonderful cafe with amazing staff who are always so accomodating. Food is lovely and ice cream is delicious. Very family friendly. We enjoy coming here. Definitely recommend it.

I popped in for a quick sandwich and coffee today and the staff were amazing very welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere was great which probably helped with the sun shining. I will definitely be back soon as the owner of the cafe is a hunk. Ladies get yourself down there.

A lovely spot at the heart of Valentines Park. I have been coming a few times to get ice cream for the kids but had never ordered meals. The place is clean, the staff are super friendly and last but not least the food is actually so tasty at a decent price ! I forgot to take a picture of my chicken & bacon salad so I could share- 5 starts presentation and flavour!

It's a lovely park and cafe and a nice place for tea, coffee or a bite to eat. A few more vegan options would go down a treat but it was not too bad as I managed to get a vegan lunch in the spoony pub near by.

Came in yesterday with the family, good environment and spacious. Very friendly staff and made us all feel welcome. Halal cheeseburger and cappuccino coffee actually was one of the best I have had local in ilford. Thanks again guys, see you again next week

Hello lovely’s 🌹, this is a lovely and hygienically clean cafe to go to, the lunch menu is nice, we had the aloo toastie and Margherita toastie, the aloo toastie was really nice but not so much the Margherita one, the laate was ok but not strong enough to get that buzz, but overall lovely place to chill on a weekend☕️☕️💯

I carried out some electrical works for these guys and they treated us like royalty! Needless to say the sandwiches and coffee to a high standard! For once an in demand business not using its demand to lower its standards or customer service. Have never been before, but after carrying works I will definitely bring my children in for ice cream and sweets! Thanks again!

Great service and very friendly staff. I take my SEN students there as part of their community learning subject to learn the skills of being in the community and order food for themselves and pay for what they buy. The staff are very understanding and deal positively with every student. Can't speak highly enough of the brilliant staff there!!

Great place to eat and very good service

A brilliant cafe in the middle of the park, very nice menu with lots of choice. I had a huge tuna salad which was very nice and fresh, also had a lovely coffee and even had an ice cream afterwards seeing as the sun was shining. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were really friendly and it was spotless.

There was no mayonnaise with our order so I asked the lady if I can get 3 /for 3 of us/. She gave me 2 only and said she doesn't have more.... But she will fill up the bottle and bring to us. 15mins waiting - no mayo... Then I asked again the other young lady and she gave me 2 more. The food was ok but the behavior of that lady made me feel unwellcomed there.

I used to come to Valentine's Park years ago ! Such a lovely place & I now bring my Grandchildren. The cafe is so lovely, fantastic prices, very clean, food great & the people who serve u are very nice & friendl.y. we came Monday with family & today with Grandchild & his friend & I will be coming again soon.

We had a great day out at Valentines Park Plenty of room for the boys to play football, the equipment was in a good condition, it was nice to have a outdoor water tap, it is also nice to have a cafe that stays open until a decent time which serves great food which is good value. The only down side was there was no seat on the toilet in the disabled room.

Great old style park cafe. The cafe has a wide selection of food and drinks. The prices are cheap. I had the chilli with cheese and the chip was £5.90. It was tasty and had a large portion.

Absolutely outstanding place with a retro feel. Wonderful food and large selection of ice cream. All set in a stunning location. Unexpected for Ilford.

The food is just alright, not the best. Although their prices are pretty cheap which is really nice. The weather is too hot to not have ice cream, so grateful to spot a ice cream shop there! The park is quite nice, a good place for picnic, the river is very dirty but you get to see some wild animals, geese, swans, ducks...etc. A good place for family with kids to go 😎

Epitomises the “old-school” park café syndrome where successful repetitive complacency is now tentatively adapting to changing consumer expectations. Very much what you’d expect and even more so with hearty portions at reasonable prices. Expansive selection and Vegan options. The staff friendly, accommodating and efficient. What you’d expect, except better and unlikely to disappoint.

Great offering with a good selection of food and drink and not too expensive, very clean and tidy and friendly staff. Been coming here for a while now and it has always been very good.

I sat down with my toddler to eat an ice cream. An old lady said rudely you can't sit down. I asked why and she said we are closing. I said there is a more polite way of saying things. She rolled her eyes. Exactly the same thing happened last year. I wish I could explain my daughter that this place doesn't deserve our money.

The ambient is cozy and welcoming. I like it.

The chicken burger I had was great! Just like a McCrispy but bigger! The place was almost empty as well and very chilled.

Very pleasant cafe, good value and good food.

All staff is providing excellent customer service apart from one.

Tea cake with jam and cream. The bun was warmed up but was very bland and dry. We had a cappuccino and that was fairly tasteless! Not going there again .

Brilliant cafe in a lovely park, we come here quite a lot and it is always a very friendly place and staff are great. really pleased to see the menu has been updated a bit with more on offer on the halal menu, the new addition of the halal panini's are really tasty.

It needs updating. They have substantial open spaces, they could use to make it a fantastic place to visit. It shows that it had been neglected.

Staff are super friendly, considerate, helpful and accommodating. Food is absolutely delicious and prices are very low considering the great quality of food. Would 100% recommend.

We visited Valentines Park for the Saturday morning Park Run and we came into the cafe afterwards, i have to say it was brilliant. Lots of the runners come into the cafe after the run and the atmosphere was excellent, there wasn't a spare seat in the place. Service was really quick and very friendly, everything seemed to run like clockwork, its a very well run machine. The food was delightful, we had the Valentines breakfast which was great and also had the granola and yoghurt pot with fresh fruit which was AMAZING. The coffee here is really good too, perfect in fact. I would definitely come here again, it was spotlessly clean, very friendly and well organised. 10/10 from all of us.

After spending a few hours exploring the park with the children theres no better place than this for a family pit stop, great choices of food and coffees followed by a magnificent array of deserts and ice creams all very reasonably priced in a nice clean environment, staff were very friendly and smartly dressed, we also bought a bag of nuts to feed the squirrels for our walk back to the car park.

I really enjoy my big breakfast every saturday mornings. Great café and friendly people

Wow what a beautiful park everything at your fingertips well maintained cafes boating lake gardens children's amusements I could go on all day and not cover all and of course the Valentine's Mansion take a picnic and spend the whole day there so what are you waiting for

Came to valentines park on an off chance during the school holidays, it’s a really nice park with the beautiful cafe. We stopped here for a late lunch and it was brilliant, I was served by a lovely polite lady who was very professional. The food arrived quite fast and was really nice and fresh, the salads are awesome. We all had an ice cream afterwards and it’s quite possibly the best ice EVER……. never tasted an ice cream quite like it. Overall very well priced, very clean and really professional.

We have been here many times. Ladies on till and all the staff in the kitchen are working hard. They are so kind, understanding and providing honest advice and amazing service. Cafe is always clean. Food is delicious. Very nice place to go with kids.

I was served by a very pleasant lady, ordered burger and chips and had a 99 ice cream for dessert. The cafe is very clean, and in a nice location inside the park. It's good to see how proud Paul the manager is of the cafe itself. He loves his job and this reflects on his staff and the food/products he sells. An institution!

We have been coming to this cafe since our children were very young, they are now teenagers and still ask to come back here every single week. It is very clean and tidy, the staff are always polite and very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The food is consistantly good and the ice creams are without doubt the best i have ever had. This cafe is definetley a real credit to the park and i would even say to redbridge. Well done to all the staff and management for doing a great job time after time...10/10 from our family.

Well priced and with generous portions (tonnes of chips!) A lovely cafè and park set in a terribly run down and dangerous area unfortunately.

We popped in to warm up with a sausage sarnie each, unfortunately they don't sell fried onions and they had no dairy free spread but it was ok I used tomato ketchup instead. The staff were nice, the cafe was clean.

Lovely place to have something to eat but also to just have a takeaway icecream. However, I am still not sure about their opening times. On the website says 10am but went around after that time and was still closed.

Valentines Park is by far the most beautiful park to visit in East London. Did not actually go into the cafe, I queued outside for the ice cream. Had a twin cone: soft ice cream with a flake; and a scoop of strawberry, really tasty and refreshing. My family enjoyed the mint choc chip, mango and lemon sorbet flavours, all of which were of brilliant quality. The prices hurt a little but almost everything has increased in price, and the experience was still great.

Just metres away from the finish line of the Saturday morning parkrun is this wonderful cafe that gets a lot of sun on a good day. Hot and cold food available alongside great tasting coffee. Had a scone with cream and jam which was delicious. Gets quite busy after the parkrun but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.

Genuinely one of the best English Breakfasts I've had for such an amazing price. Also, when I had waited for a very long time, and the staff realised I didn't get my food yet, they gave me extras. The cheesy chips are also very good and are what they should be, flexible to eat with whatever you put/eat them with. Will definitely be going here again in the future

Convenient stop for food in the park

This place has gotten better over time there prices are good and they offer a halal menu they where busy on my visit but still felt I was served well my order didn't take long to come out either. Overall a good experience.

Impressed with our fish finger sandwiches! Good selection of food and drinks. Clean and bright seating area with views towards the boating lake. On this bright sky blue November afternoon it was a bit of a suntrap.

Hadn't been here for ages due to the pandemic. The decor is serviceable but clean. Menu well presented. Cheery staff. Was craving veggie burger with hash brown (shame) and it didn't disappoint!!
