We had a brilliant breakfast here, and it was a real bargain. The food was fresh and delicious, the service efficient and friendly. The Turkish Breakfast is a real bargain. We will definitely visit again.

To eat in was very nice. 😁 Take away was disgusting.🙈 Ordered chicken kebab with cous cous - it came with rice and chips. The Chips were soggy, The rice was yulky. The bread was still in its dough form, sticky wet and not edible 😐... Never ever again!. NEVER! This has now changed, the place is now called SU 🙄 THE FOOD, Sadly very disgusting 🫣... The Lamb chops, not cooked - blood in middle, YUK! I've never been served Spare ribs like them. Either that or we orderd the wrong food 😕 The service Very poor... Just a very bad experience all round. Cheees SU ... NOT. 🤮🤢

Su Restaurant, as it's known now. Booked a table well in advance for Mothers Day. On a normal day, this restaurant would have got 5* They didn't have enough staff at all, and for those who were there, they were under immense pressure. Fathers Day is coming soon, I hope they get it right

We went there late at the night and they couldn’t serve dinner and we asked for take away. the manager gave us extra food and some other foods for free. He was very kind and humble. I‘d like the atmosphere in there

Actually it's now called Su and under new management. Food was amazing as were the staff. I can't praise them enough. Highly recommend them.

It’s my local I think management has changed Our drinks were wrong they replaced them no problem we asked for cus cus and got rice meat was chewy Service very good I like this place was my favourite locally but the lamb chops have gone down on quality such a shame

I have been to this restaurant for 3 years, and it was great. But yesterday I went there, the manager, decoration, and menu had been changed. The prices increased, for breakfast we always paid £23 but yesterday I paid £42 and I was not happy.

We used to come to vadi quite a lot, we decided to come on the bank holiday Monday and the food has gone down hill and the prices gone up so much The food was so salty my partner didn’t feel well at all the same night, stuff was missing and where is the management? It looks like it’s only young girls serving nowadays Will not go back

Soups wasn't good. Service was really bad ask for tea I finished my soup still didn't receive. Waiters looks like they have been force to work.

We have visited this place quite a lot as it always was cheep and cheerful and you could have a good hearty meal at a reasonable price. In essence it is Turkish fast food , kebabs, grilled meats etc and lots of salad accompaniments that were always provide free. This seems to have changed and a series of dishes were all brought out as starters which were all chargeable , I mean £6.50 for a smallish plate of hummus , likewise a a bit of saksuka is way over priced. Mains have gone up to , ie my yogurtlu lamb shish was £23.50. We did get a small salad and a plate of cacik on the house but that is only a fraction of what you used to get. The food is ok and hasnt changed that much but it now feels much more restaurant style pricing. Service was poor ie forgot a drinks order and wanted to serve mains before we had finished our starters , typical in a fast food place but not acceptable if you are charging restaurant prices . We had a bottle of house wine, a couple of extra glasses of wine and a couple of beers and the bill came to £170 for 4 people ...... sorry that is way over priced for what was on offer. Normally this placed is packed especially on a Friday night but was quite empty which leads me to think it has forgotten what made them famous ie tasty Turkish fast food at a reasonable price. Lots of other restaurants like this not far away in Harringay so sorry guys will be trying somewhere different next time

It was late. But the service was exceptional. The chef gave me great advice on what I should eat. I wanted a particular water drink. But they didn't have, so waitress went next door to the shop to get it. Thank you

If you’re gonna get doner kebab it’s best not to get it. No taste, the rice has no taste, bread is just really bland and hard to eat

Beautiful food. Honestly well worth the money. Ended up with a my sinus being packed with meat but I couldn't stop myself from eating! The staff were lovely too, very accommodating and warm. Only thing I would say is the toilet was a bit dirty.

we ate here, the waiters were very uninterested, rude and they brought the food incomplete. When I said the food was missing, they said it was finished, I paid the money, we said mixed kebab, there was no meat and chicken in it, this restaurant is not clean

Overpriced meals and rude staff.I do not recommend for ordering food and drink from this place as it is also very unhygienic.Their food hygiene rate has dropped from 5 to 2.This already shows that something os going wrong.They must get a grip with things.There are much better places with good staff,pricing and most importantly excellent food hygiene rating.

The food was ok, but the service was really bad, I am very disappointed with the guy who was serving us he was rude and unprofessional, Our table wasn’t cleared for all most 2 hours, when I asked if he could clear our table, he went to the family next to us who were just finishing their food and asked if could clear up them , I asked again and he got the the bill instead of clearing the table, he then asked me to pay. It was so embarrassing, all I wanted was for him to clear the table, so we could Oder some dessert. He said he didn’t want to clear our table because we had 2 pushchairs. But the didn’t stop him getting the food to us in first place so I don’t understand why it would him stop him clearing the table. It’s my local so it’s a shame really But never again.

The food is great, however next to the soup we would recommend pickled peppers and cabbage, which is the usual traditional side with a Turkish lentil soup (not just olives).

Price of special was once £50 has now doubled, you would assume the quality would remain. Unfortunately the quality along with the taste has reduced significantly leaving a bland and unsatisfying after taste. I am extremely disappointed in my experience in 2023 when post 2017 it was my go to place. Now I have to break the bank for a lacklustre plate of food not worth the bill. The cashier wanted cash rather than card, then requests us to use a card machine in house to have my card decline 2 times before being told Barclays blocked them. I would suggest anyone to keep your money and spend it elsewhere unless you wish to throw your money away. We have more than half the food going to waste as the food tasted as if it was left overs reheated. I really wanted it to be good, but it’s not even a 1 star experience.

Decent enough with good quality and reasonable service levels. I wouldn't say it's the very best of Turkish restaurants I've been to nor the most competitively priced. Altogether though a decent experience.

Very disappointed. We went for special occasion dinner. Food was not great at all . We has family special as usual. All lamb in the set wasn't cooked properly! Chewy. I told the staff and they offered to cook them more but it came back exactly the same... to pay such money for dinner which is not nice it's ridiculous. Spoiled evening We wish we chose to go somewhere else . Won't go there again.

My family is full Turkish and 10 of us as family went here and when we ordered in turkish language they wrote what we wanted but for some reason the new costumers that came and sat got their dinners before we did nobody looked at our table, Bad experience here

Mercimek çorba needs more flavour. Adana was delicious along with the bulgur pilav it came with. The calamari was a total waste of money, tasted awful. Worse than what you buy frozen. Some of the waiters are friendly but they need to be a bit more attentive to detail. This place is too hit and miss.

Not what it used to be before the place burned down and was refurbished. Now the portions keep getting smaller and smaller while the price is getting higher and higher. Vadi special used to includes two types of rice and a very large selection of meats, but now the meat portions are half the size and spread out on top of bread.

Ordered for the first time. Portions good size but absolutely no taste at all in the food. Having eating at capital, kervan and gokyuzu thought try vadi. Never again. Will stick to capital. No spice or flavouring

Went there for the first time. The place was big, well lit and very clean. You can choose different dishes at a reasonable price. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend. 👍

Vadi’s is without doubt the best Turkish restaurant ever the food is delicious authentic cuisine with absolutely beautiful surroundings and staff who are always pleasant attentive and polite.. I can’t praise this place enough there really is nowhere else to go.

I had taken my daughter for dinner to celebrate a special occasion and Considering there were only 3 tables in for food we were sat right near to the other 2 tables, in-front of the window where passers by were actually stopping to look at what we were eating!! it was loud and the conversations were terrible for us to listen to. I thought a member of staff would of asked them to be quiet. It was very off putting so we didn’t finish our meal. Food was mediocre would not return.

The food was good as always, but we were sitting for quite a while before being offered drinks, then later on, a row broke out at one of the tables and the management appeared to be doing nothing about it when they should have asked them to leave. We complained as it was a family birthday and the atmosphere turned sour, which had not been our experience at many previous visits. To be fair to them, they took some money off the bill and gave us some cakes as compensation but sadly we won’t be back.

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. The restaurant is well organised and clean. The staff were great. The meat was slightly overcooked and the drinks were a bit of delay hence why the 4 stars. There's plenty of space for seating. Parking is available at tesco which is free. I would recommend and would be back.

Lovely food at reasonable prices

Such a generous place to eat - you will never starve if you go to this restaurant! Very large portions - all fresh and so tempting! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Looking forward to going back soon. X

Always a very average experience whenever I visit. There is another Vadi Restaurant which always gives a better experience, this one is okay but the other is far better. One complaint I did have this time was the Lamb Sarma Beyti, it was horrible. Tasted like it had been microwaved, top was hard and bottom was soggy bottom. I was really disappointed.

I visited Vadi Restaurant in Ponders End for the first time yesterday and I was not disappointed. I popped in for an early lunch and received 5-star service. The menu offered a wide variety of options to choose from, but I stuck with my staple order of chicken shish with couscous. The portion was extremely generous, and the shish was grilled to perfection. The complimentary salad, cacık and freshly baked bread were extremely yummy too. When the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised that I had benefitted from the lunchtime special, meaning that my meal and soft drink only cost £9.90 all in! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will 100% be visiting again in future.

As a guest for a birthday party and someone big on customer service. The service here was terrible. The restaurant was barely busy and their service timing was extremely slow. We ordered for water, you would think glasses would be on the table right? We had to ask again. At the point they lit the cake came out to sing, the mother realised they had bought the wrong cake. Rather than to apologise, the waiters were all looking around. The manager later came, not one single apology. His only statement was ' o that cake was for his brothers birthday from yesterday we didn't cut it, but it's yours now, you can have it on the house'. That was extremely rude. The owner who I presume could tell he and his staff were 100% wrong, chose to ignore and be ignorant about it. Later when the mother was packing the cake up. One of the sluggish waiters came and asked could they all have a piece of her son's birthday cake. Absolutely embarrassing and unprofessional. I have never seen such! It seemed planned so they could have the cake, one could say it was done deliberately. Personally I would not recommend this place, food was tasteless, customer service was slack, and very unprofessional. I've been to way better Turkish restaurants. This by far is the worst. Dine in at your own risk. From the managers odd responses on here, that is enough for you to tell what type of service to expect.

Food was good but service need to improve

The staff are horrendous, miss managed and rude. The food is beyond disgusting, bland, tasteless and portions are not acceptable. It was very embarrassing bringing friends and family here.

Mixed bag really, staff walked round like they'd just got out of bed. Had to reask for our drinks order. Salad was served with no bread or anything else. Asked for the sauces bottles arrived dirty and crusty. At this point was ready to walk but decided to wait and see what food was like. Thankfully the food was a gorgeous as ever. Sort the staff out please.

The jovial nature of the manager really sets the tone with wonderful service and food. We really enjoyed our food from here.

The service was so bad. Got served bread then forgotten about. Our main went to a table that came after us. We were left with just bread for 1/2 hour. When staff realised what had happened they offered a complimentary drink. Eventually we got the dips for our bread & asked for new bread, they simply reheated the cold bread that we were first given, because it came back crispy & burnt in some places. When good finally arrived most of the meat was burnt and not edible without the taste of burnt charcoal in our mouth. We barely touched the meal. The staff ordered the wrong main dish, he ordered the expensive one rather than the one for two people. I asked for the manager who point blank refused that it was a bad service, saying that they offered us a free drink & we went off in a sulk. He then even refused to come to our table. All the turkish customers were being fussed over but we were just left. Absolutely appalling service, gone downhill

Me and my husband are disgusted by the appalling way we were treated by Vadi restaurant and manager Aslan. We had a party booked but had to cancel it and gave one months’ notice, despite this our £100 deposit was never given back to us. In fact - we were blatantly and rudely ignored despite calling, visiting and messaging numerous times. It’s now been nearly two months. Do you seriously get rich by robbing off ordinary Turkish people of such little money? That is literally NOTHING compared to what you make in a day. We used to dine here but NEVER again. I will also tell everyone how appalled I am at the level of response we received. We usually support local businesses but NOT a place like this. Please everyone think twice before dealing with a restaurant and management like this. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I’d give 0 stars if I could. I’m looking forward to reporting you to trading standards and elsewhere.

Tasty, tasty and tasty. All the dishes here are cooked so well. You won't be leaving hungry as the portion sizes are massive. It's probably a bit on the expensive side for the area but it's worth paying for the food. The only disappointment I would say is the generic desert menu, which we never order from. A. becuase it has classics like Egg Man. B. As we are too full to eat it! Always go when in the area.

This is the worst restaurant I’ve been in North London, I’ve been in this restaurant with my wife I order a Donner kebab It’s came too late half of the side is not cook taste was so bad and when I tried to pay by card staff told me not accepting card payment cash only !!! come on we live in 2021 This is the only restaurant I’ve been it’s not accepting card payment What a shame

Dinning experience was good venue Is clean, staff are friendly and professional. The day we visited and ate in there were two birthdays so childrens music played aswell as birthday songs. I'm sure the birthday individuals enjoyed this experience more. Would eat in or take away as I have done several times before.
