Good value for money. Big portions all cooked whilst you wait.

Ok I suppose. Just wanted an omelette and beans but they still charged me for chips, didn't have inclination to argue. Food was ok, served quickly but not particularly hot. Waitresses seemed to be having a competition to see which one was most miserable. Think there are better places in town. Pay at counter when ordering, would be a good idea to put numbers on tables rather than having to try to explain to server where you're sitting

Just be sure to check what they charge you matches the prices displayed, they're chancers. Tried to charge me £4 over, blamed it on the new girl but it was the senior member of staff standing there overseeing and telling her exactly what to put in to the payment machine who told me what was the total amount to pay. Only when I asked for a receipt later did they realise they were rumbled and came clean.

Never actually been in, but I order from this place when I get off is on Uber eats and it’s brilliant. massive portions of homestyle food

A lovely clean cafe, family focused and being enjoyed by people of all ages. Nice fresh and tasty food. We had chicken kebab, rice and salad. Deliciously marinated chicken breast pieces, crunchy salad, white rice and a creamy coleslaw. The chicken was plentiful, a little too much for me but not my partner. Kids meal of sausage, beans, chips and a drink at 5.99, was enjoyed too.

I've had breakfast here a couple of times which I really enjoyed and found to be very reasonably priced. Service is really good and friendly.

A nice, simple, clean cafe. The food was good, as was the service. Sadly, there is precious little parking available, which makes it really difficult to stop here.

Came here today with my partner and child, we ordered our for and the quality was not the best, scrambled egg done in the microwave… the bacon was dripping in oil to the point there was a puddle on my plate and the chips where very hard. Over all would not recommend this place if your not a local, Should have went to Greggs

Was ok, bit dearer than the usual greasy spoons and the missis tuna baguette wasn't actually a baguette, it was a chewy spongey roll that made eating it a bit of a chore. Food was ok though apart from that

Always a good place to have lunch

You pay on ordering which is fine, unless you want your drink after you've ordered, paid for and finally consumed your meal. Then you have to go up again to re-order your beverage because the table staff didn't understand English. I waited a long time to receive my meal; people coming in behind me were sat eating their orders long before mine turned up - following a second prompt from me. Then the one request I had made for no cucumber in my salad was ignored! All in all It did NOT go particularly well. S.G.

We love this cafe. The staff are lovely & tell us what we are ordering because they remember their customers & there preferences. We visit every 6-8 weeks as its a treat for us, but they still remember us & greet us with a smile. My partner has a number 4 breakfast with beans & I have a bacon & mushroom omelette & salad. Perfect.

It's a cafe, what more do you what to hear?

Went in today for Sunday roast with my partner had to walk to counter to order food once ordered had to pay straight away found that strange then all we could hear was the microwave buzzing away every minute warming up our expensive Sunday warmed up roast from the microwave! Not a lot on the plate 3 roast potatoes little bit of veg 2 think strips of lamb tined peas and loads of gravy! If your hungry don't go!

This Cafe is a little gem, I poped in for lunch on the off chance as I was shopping in the area, the Bacon Sarnies were absolutely amazing and the Coffee was excellent as well. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was top notch.

I visited this cafe with my partner for lunch and we both enjoyed our meals. We have eaten at this cafe in the past and always receive a friendly welcome.The menu is quite extensive with a choice of breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I ordered a breakfast and my partner an omelette and both meals were cooked fresh to order and tasted great. The portions are also very generous and the prices very reasonable. The coffee served was also very good.We look forward to visiting again when we are next in Upminster.

Best cafe in town. Sam and Mo are great guys and Georgina is lovely. Always have great grub here and you get what you pay for. Friendly atmosphere and a warm, welcoming and personal service. I come here religiously for my Mixed Grill or Curry, Chips and Rice. They do a great roast on a Sunday too!

My favourite sausage sandwich! They always remember my order and the young blonde girl is very sweet.

Very popular cafe in the heart of upminster town centre, just along corbets tey road from bell corner traffic lights. Very efficient service and good hearty food at very inexpensive prices. Well worth popping in whilst out shopping

Another superb cafe, it's the only Upminster cafe used on our visits there, parking outside may be tricky, but lots of other local options. Not been disappointed so far and we've been there a lot. 👍

Needing to have a meal before a long journey, I called in to look at the menu. It was so appealing that I sat down and ordered lunch. It was well presented and well cooked. Top marks.

Just had the 'megabreakfast' which certainly wasn't mega. Turns out bacon is 2 slices and 2 bacon, as advertised on this breakfast, is also 2 slices! The burger was the worst cheap nasty burger you could get, and believe me I wasn't expecting much. The rest of the food was ok and I have given a star for the serving of bloomer bread. Worst thing was that you have to go to the counter to order. I assume this is so they can cut down on staff! Won't be coming back.

Disappointed, probably because of the high rating. This is basically a greasy spoon. If that is what you are looking for, maybe it is great... But I doubt it. I would grant an extra point for the range of herbal teas, but the real tea wasn’t great (according to my mum), the baked potato with salad was just about passable (not crispy, served with margarine instead of butter, no black pepper mill (powdered pepper only), an undressed salad (for which they seemed unable to supply oil and vinegar unless I wanted malt vinegar and vegetable oil...) Call me a fancy Londoner if you wish, but surely these are basics...?! Especially when it is rated 4.4/5!!’

Their menu is quite broad, not just good for fry ups! It is local for us and we use it infrequently though never had a bad experience there. Service is quick and the food has always been well cooked and presented. The staff have always been friendly.A typical good cafe.

Proper greasy spoon with a nice big menu. I had steak and Kidney pie and my brother had a cheese omelette. Both well cooked but the chips could have been longer cooked.

I have been going in there one or several times most months since summer of 2016 on Sunday mornings for breakfast at about 9 am. The food is fine- quite a wide range - what I expect from a good standard outer London café of the sort I have been visiting since the 1950s. the clientele varies and that makes a difference, though it is usually fairly quiet on Sunday mornings unless some group or other is using the place as a rendezvous, which happens occasionally, but I have never found the place crammed full. As far as I am concerned it is ideal and loads better than the sort of chain places that advertise on the TV, because I feel as if I am treated as a valued individual customer.
