Not very friendly. Had to go to the counter to pay before i could order. customer service a bit hush hush. dirty table. forget what i ordered. did ask if my eggs should be well done or no.. average / poor service overall. good taste bland.

I went with my daughter. Straight after our breakfast we both had stomach pain. Very disappointed

Walked into fairly empty cafe. Not a hello or good morning. Also smelt like someone having a cigarette wafting in from back door. Coffee could have been hotter and also jacket potato soggy skin and hot in places. Big portions which is a plus. Didn’t feel welcome so just ate and went all done and dusted within half hour. Not the lunch experience we thought we’d have. Waste of £3 parking.

I used to love this cafe. Great food and fantastic friendly service. It was my fave greasy spoon! But a year or so new management were vile to some long standing staff that were lovely so I have not been in since.

Just paid £11.58 including delivery for a tiny baguette that tasted stale and only containing a thin sliver of tuna mayo filling. Will not be ordering again.

Good value for money. Big portions all cooked whilst you wait.

Ok I suppose. Just wanted an omelette and beans but they still charged me for chips, didn't have inclination to argue. Food was ok, served quickly but not particularly hot. Waitresses seemed to be having a competition to see which one was most miserable. Think there are better places in town. Pay at counter when ordering, would be a good idea to put numbers on tables rather than having to try to explain to server where you're sitting

Just be sure to check what they charge you matches the prices displayed, they're chancers. Tried to charge me £4 over, blamed it on the new girl but it was the senior member of staff standing there overseeing and telling her exactly what to put in to the payment machine who told me what was the total amount to pay. Only when I asked for a receipt later did they realise they were rumbled and came clean.

Ordered a takeaway Sunday roast today, was excellent. Ordered through deliveroo and was here within 35 mins would definitely order 😀

A lovely clean cafe, family focused and being enjoyed by people of all ages. Nice fresh and tasty food. We had chicken kebab, rice and salad. Deliciously marinated chicken breast pieces, crunchy salad, white rice and a creamy coleslaw. The chicken was plentiful, a little too much for me but not my partner. Kids meal of sausage, beans, chips and a drink at 5.99, was enjoyed too.

I paid for 2 Latte's and only got one. The bill showed that to be the case, the delivery person did not seem interested when asked why there was only one delivered which is not acceptable. There is no indication of who to contact when this happens which again is not helpful.

My food didn't turn up ! The delivery driver was rude and made out my signal was bad then hung up and put it as delivered. Can't comment on the food as I never received it.

Perfect cafe if you dont want anything fancy - sandwiches were good with plenty of fillings, service was quick and very reasonably priced. Was busy, for a Monday ....can see why! 🙂

A disabled customer you’ve delivered here many times I didn’t hear the knock on the door so you left it on the floor. Couldn’t tell you how long it’s been outside but food very cold. Very disappointed with service

Came here today with my partner and child, we ordered our for and the quality was not the best, scrambled egg done in the microwave… the bacon was dripping in oil to the point there was a puddle on my plate and the chips where very hard. Over all would not recommend this place if your not a local, Should have went to Greggs

A popular local cafe with a big menu. Not fancy hence my title! It's good comfort food at it's best. We had breakfast - they do set menus or you can mix and match. The coffee is a good flavour and they make it look nice by creating a heart in the froth of the coffee! There's always a lot of people in here so clearly the food is up to a consistent good standard with a realistic price tag.

Was ok, bit dearer than the usual greasy spoons and the missis tuna baguette wasn't actually a baguette, it was a chewy spongey roll that made eating it a bit of a chore. Food was ok though apart from that

Always a good place to have lunch

You pay on ordering which is fine, unless you want your drink after you've ordered, paid for and finally consumed your meal. Then you have to go up again to re-order your beverage because the table staff didn't understand English. I waited a long time to receive my meal; people coming in behind me were sat eating their orders long before mine turned up - following a second prompt from me. Then the one request I had made for no cucumber in my salad was ignored! All in all It did NOT go particularly well. S.G.

We love this cafe. The staff are lovely & tell us what we are ordering because they remember their customers & there preferences. We visit every 6-8 weeks as its a treat for us, but they still remember us & greet us with a smile. My partner has a number 4 breakfast with beans & I have a bacon & mushroom omelette & salad. Perfect.

It's a cafe, what more do you what to hear?

Went in today for Sunday roast with my partner had to walk to counter to order food once ordered had to pay straight away found that strange then all we could hear was the microwave buzzing away every minute warming up our expensive Sunday warmed up roast from the microwave! Not a lot on the plate 3 roast potatoes little bit of veg 2 think strips of lamb tined peas and loads of gravy! If your hungry don't go!

This Cafe is a little gem, I poped in for lunch on the off chance as I was shopping in the area, the Bacon Sarnies were absolutely amazing and the Coffee was excellent as well. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was top notch.
