Food was absolutely delicious and would thoroughly recommend. Staff were friendly and helpful, portions were just right too.

We had a takeaway delivered from this place whilst on holiday and were very impressed with everything. Delivered early, piping hot food that was very nice and the prices very reasonable too.

had 1 last month and had to put half of it in the bin didn't taste very nice and the meat was not the best of quality let me turn back the clock about 12 years and the Indian in the town was still open now that was nice saner as Chinese mr Lee was the best all the new ones use cheap meat

We had a takeaway from unique spice when I first opened and it was awful. The rice and sauces looked irradiated and it was flavourless. We took a punt this evening thinking, if it’s awful at least we haven’t had to cook and .....it was really quite good. Not cheap but worth the money. We had a delivery via ‘Just Eat’ and it came way earlier than anticipated. We will definitely use it again.

Got the take away used to be good but the chicken is strangely rubbery? The balti tasted like a Tesco shop bought sauce quite manufactured. Still like there nann and samosa starter but really going down hill get your old chefs back and fresh chicken.

Staying in the area for a few days and looking forward to a takeaway. Ordered at 6.30pm and received 8.10pm! When we phoned the restaurant to chase it up they didn't seem to care, just said they were busy. Lamb shank very salty and cold, balti hot in spice but not temperature and lacked taste. Quite expensive at £27 for 2 below par main meals. Wouldn't recommend and have removed details from holiday let.

An excellent evening in this restaurant with extremely tasty food and excellent service. Only one little quibble: I had a xacewti dish accompanied by saag paneer and coconut rice and it became apparent that the chef used sweetened coconut in all of them - unusual, but not unpleasant. However, given that I have to eschew sugar for medical reasons, I will have to enquire about its inclusion in dishes in future. That said, all my family enjoyed the visit very much - we will be back.

New to the area, so gave this curry house a visit. Wow! Exceptional food here, very tasty and temperature hot. Faultless in every way. A special mention for Jakob our waiter, he knows how to look after customers. Thank you.

I took my wife for our first meal out since our son was born, and first evening alone. The restaurant didn’t disappoint. A quiet Tuesday evening, with very quick service and everything to match our expectations. Very glad that such a precious evening out was quick and all positive. For five stars would have needed: Water automatically on the table; Better explanation of what each dish was as it was put on the table; Slightly more detail of what each menu item was, so as to encourage choice of dishes you don’t recognise. Eg whether a dry dish or sauce based etc.

Heard this place was good so gave it a try. Used the standard approach of a Dansak dish with usual trimmings - not disappointed. Friendly and enthusiastic service, given a beer to enjoy at home! On arrival home found the food to be excellent, very tasty, so much so that we have revisited a number of times. No idea what it's like to eat in but there have always been people in when we have collected. The place looks good, the food tastes good, the price is good, what's not to love?

I arrived to collect my take away order which was brought straight out to me and on time. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous.I had a short car ride home and the food was still hot enough to eat without re-heating. I recommend the Lamb Pathia the meat was so tender and the sauce full of beautiful spices and flavour. The Restaurant also looked very nice and i will definitely visit again to try that and the Take away is also a must. The food was a real treat!

Waste of time. Twice now on just eat they have been over an hour late. Guests here, ordered for 7pm, 8pm still waiting. Kids in bed, just beyond a joke now. Do not offer a service you cannot back up.

This is not the first time we have been disappointed with the takeaway service from here.

Ordered a mixture of starters, mains & side dishes for 4 people. Used their website to order food for free delivery and this all worked very well. Food on arrival however was disappointing. Only 2 poppadums were given, one of which was already broken into a hundred pieces. Samosas and bhajis & some of the main dishes were only luke-warm so everything went into our oven to reheat. The food was not great, chicken tasted liked cheap reformed meat and all of the dishes had a sweet flavour over-riding everything else. We were going to book for a large group in December but have decided to go elsewhere. Real shame as previous meals have been good.

We’ve eaten here a couple of times (we were the only ones actually in the restaurant on both occasions) - food was very nice. Ordered a take-away though and boy what a disappointment. Ordered early evening thinking it would be busy on a Saturday and my order was due to arrive at 6.20pm. 6.45pm I called to say nothing yet arrived, and was asked ‘what do you mean?’ I was then told my order had left and was on its way. Half an hour later, nothing still, so called again to be told that my order had never been received (albeit I had a confirmation of order and Just Eat told me exactly what time the order had been accepted by the restaurant) - when queried why I had been told my order was on its way, I was told that ‘it was a mistake, you have not placed an order’ - clearly management problems with this restaurant (which is sad) but in no way did anyone try and put right their wrong, nor was an apology forthcoming. Such a shame, and definitely the last visit/order from us.

Not the first time we have ordered from here for our food to arrive cold. Despite a long wait for the food, the food arrived cold. After contacting the restaurant, they immediately delivered a new and hot meal with a beer as an apology. The food, when hot, was lovely but a bit greasy. Not sure I will order from here again!

A first class experience . My friends and I ate at the Unique Spice Resturant this evening . All staff were friendly and attentitive, our food was freshly cooked to order.

Very attentive staff. Made very welcome. Food was really good too. We just popped in as we were far from home, cold and hungry. It was an oasis in the middle of an ugly town. It surpassed expectations. They do a good take away service too. Enjoy folks.

Wasn’t sure if this was going to be ok as a real mixed bag of reviews on here. However we opted for a take away after much deliberation and it was great. Ordered a real mixed bag of items over the phone friendly called the order back to us. Made us a couple of off menu items and it all tasted great. Reasonable price and friendly when we got there. The food was ready when they said it will be and all piping hot. Under new management or not 5 stars from us and will be using again.

I ordered a take away for the first time at this restaurant. The lady that answered the pone was very pleasant and took the order with no complications. I went to pick it up (they also deliver if you want) and brought my order home.

I like very hot food and my friend is the opposite so they did me a sort of twist on a korma - i like the taste of korma but not the strength so they did me a very hot version - it was lovely. They didn't mind me changing a couple of other things around and the chicken was very very tender. Nice change from turkey!

Came here with a group of friends for our 1st of our leaving meals. We were looked after really well, very friendly service. Food was piping hot and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Good value and portions. Will definitely be back.

I love this place sister restaurant of the rose of India in Attleborough run by an efficient team led by Amz. nothing is too much for these guys, turned up and saw some friends of ours just having there poppadoms decided we would join they moved tables around to get us set up before offering drinks and food. food was amazing as per normal had a tikka massala garlic rice and keema and cheese naan (not on the menu but they made it for me any way) at the end of the meal offered a drink on the house and came home with change out of £30 for the 2 of us to eat and drink in style. Great restaurant one of my absolute favourites!

Unfortunately this is currently the only Indian in Watton, the food is not good, they always forget something so I have to check the bag before I leave and the last time the food was awful too. I'll be honest, I've had a couple of nice currys from there, but the last was disgusting and we had a dodgy stomach after so I won't be eating from there again. I also find the people in there ignorant compared to other Indians.

Went here for the first time a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices and the food was generally excellent. Papadums were served with a selection of chutneys/sauces and chopped onion. Service was friendly.

If I could a negative star, I would. I order takeaway via Hungry House at 7:15 pm tonight. Confimation came through that the delivery would be 8:39 pm. Rang at 8:45 pm to see what has happen, was told the delivery would be with us in 5 mins. By 9 pm, no delivery, rang back was told if I wanted a refund I would need to go to shop, so I did. I was shouted and told never to order from there again. This is not a problem. If you don't have the ability to work with 3rd party suppliers, do not put your business on them. Plus verbally abusing customers, won't win you good press.

This place has been open now for a few years and the food is excellent quality, the team are very attentive and there is plenty of GOOD food. When it arrives and you've eaten the main course, don't be surprised if they ask you if you'd like a little more. Don't know what to eat? They will make suggestions based on the kind of food you like. Top marks and that says a lot for Central Norfolk.

First time visiting Unique Spice and it definitely won't be the last! Went on a busy Saturday evening but still the service and food was excellent. Good atmosphere in restaurant and would recommend.

Since new management has taken over the place there hasnt really been a great improvement but at least it was more edible this time! Myself and my partner ordered lamb and chicken balti's and they were terribly greasy! The portions were good but not as big as what we have had from other indian restaurants. The meat was good quality and fairly generously sized but the curries were averagely flavoured and there was tonnes of gubbins such as onions and peppers that really ruined it and were just there to try and disguise a lack of flavour! The rice was good and the poppadoms and dips were good but the curries were average, we have had better! The price point was fair, around £20 for what we ordered. The food took an hour to be delivered because the driver was given the wrong postcode, he drove straight past our house and went and sat up the road, luckily the food was still hot! If you're after an average curry this is your place!

We had had an average meal at friends takeaway which was partly wrong in what was delivered,my friend called to be told it's what we ordered and replacement would be charged and upto 1 hour to deliver time.as the meal was for 3 couples we managed.Next time we thought we would eat in given last time mix up.It came out about the last meal takeaway at which point the thin guy behind the bar,doing bill became very rude and verbally aggressive .was not pleasant with his comments about women when the wife added her comments .lucky we had almost finished coffee so we went quickly .NEVER to RETURN.

Delivery arrived with 1 curry missing. When I telephoned I was told my replacement would be 30-45 mins. When I stated I wanted a full refund as the rest of my meal would be cold by then, I was told 'I can't do that darlin, I've got to pay the driver!'Disgusting customer service for the second time, will go elsewhere in future!

Unique Spice is quite good, so long as you are not vegitarian. Vegitable Jalfrezi, Saag Paneer all the usual favorites.I wish we had eaten there as I would have sent both the above back and left.Vegitable Jalfrezi was broad beans, green beans, peas and potato. That is definitely a first - no cauliflower, peppers.........It was a Thursday night so no excuse for having run out.Saag Paneer was like a cream soup with flakes of spinach and a few lumps of paneer. Sweet and quite disgusting.Having said that the King Prawn Patia and Bhuna were actually quite good.But why is it that simple, traditional vegitable dishes can be so wrong?Most indian restaurants can produce good meat and fish curries. I rate them on their vegitable dishes and in this case they failed miserably.No excuses.

Ordered for delivery on Saturday which took a while. Had to call for a missing item but this was delivered within minutes. Food was very spicy but very tasty. Enjoyed a range of dishes. We will order again. Very nice indeed!!!

We were in Watton with family and wanted a Take-Away or 'Carry-Out if you're Scottish. We phoned the restaurant, but got cut off TWICE! finally having place the large order for 5 adults, we got them to read it back to make sure nothing was missed, all OK, it would be 45 minutes..... seemed a bit long, but then an Indian Restaurant we use to use before we moved right away cooked from fresh and always had that sort of lead-time, so wasn't overly worried. After 20 minutes we drove to the restaurant to pick up the order, asked at the desk, the confirmed the order and we paid. They also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, whether that was because of the problems on the phone or because we had just spent over £50 I don't know, but we accepted it anyway. The Mantra is "never refuse a bottle of Merlot if it is a gift".... So we went to sit down to wait the extra minutes as we were early and the waiter came down with our order!Got it all home, everything was there but, we had 2 portion of Bhindi Bhaji (Orka) and not the Bhindi Bhaji and Brinjal Bhaji (Aubergine) that we had ordered. We didn't make a fuss or ring them as they food would have got cold and we eat it all anyway.The food was cooked to perfection; 2 Tandoori Mixed Platters, Lamb Shashlik and Prawn Bhuna plus some extras. The Tandoori came with the yoghurt sauce and the normal salad.This restaurant advertises itself as an Indian Restaurant and before they reorder their menus they need somebody to proof-read it, it gave us a giggle but don't let that put you off ordering from there, the food was great and the staff were all pleasant, would we use them again when in Watton? yes we would.

I use this place for family events and takeaways whenever I can. I live about 15 miles away but make sure I either eat in or get a takeaway when I can. All aspects of the menu are tasty and obviously cooked fresh and with passion. Staff are friendly and will make sure customers feel welcome and catered for. Great Indian restaurant.

As regulars, the team get to know what you like and what you don't, and try hard to make your experience as positive as possible. Good food at a reasonable price.

Booked the table for 19.00hrs on a Saturday night for our 39th wedding anniversary. (Big bash next year!). Restaurant was fairly busy, being a Saturday, but the service was still quick. Meal was fabulous (Naga Chicken for me, Chicken Shashlick for my wife). We didn't have to wait long between courses, and the waiters were friendly and efficient. I personally don't like being given my main course before I've finished swallowing my starter and the service here was just right. Then, right at the end, although we didn't spend a huge amount, we received a free G&T to round the evening off. Recommended, although I have docked a point because there is no air-con in the restaurant, nor ceiling fans, so the waiters had to resort to placing noisy floor fans next to the tables who requested them. I have also had takeaways from this place before and they have been good. If you like your food piping hot and you have to pop it in the microwave for a minute, so what?

We had a really lovely evening. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. The waiters were also very friendly giving great service. It's been a while since I last had a takeaway from here but I'm glad to say it has improved greatly.

Had a takeaway from there, which was not great, but I am the first to say that Indian food does not travel like a Chinese does. So we decided to try the actual restaurant, booked a table for 8pm. On arrival the man behind the bar was clearly busy and flustered, drying glasses and slamming them on the bar, but not to worry its a Saturday so we expect it to be busy. After being asked to wait to be seated, we got a table and then for 15 minutes nothing happened. we were then asked what we wanted to drink. The drinks came in a timely fashion, but then nothing happened again for 10 minutes, until we were approached and asked "how many Poppadum's do you want?" short and sweet but we understand they are busy. The poppadum's arrive, we eat them, the table is cleared, and nothing happens, we are 40 minutes in at this point. Not ones to complain we sit patient. Until, a table that came in after us have their full attention and they start taking their orders, after their poppadum's and clearing the table. This is the point we headed for the bar to pay our bill for drinks and poppadum's and leave. Since they have great reviews for their takeaway on Just-Eat etc. I can only assume that priority goes to online customers as they can affect their ratings. I try everywhere once but sadly shall not try this one again.

Despite a bumpy start a few years ago this restaurant has come along in leaps and bounds. If you visited before its time to give them another chance. The menu is varied and of the highest quality. Portions are generous and competitively priced. The staff are friendly and helpful and led by AMZ - an energetic and enthusiastic character. I have worked my way through the menu and have never been disappointed. I visit at least twice a month and the staff always remember our names and family details and menu preferences. Check it out it's the best in the area.

Have visited many times now, greeting is always welcoming. Food is always great. Still trying out many of the dishes which is quite hard as ones that you have previously tried are so good that you would be very happy to have them again.

I travel around the country with my job and love a good Indian takeaway, I'm struggling to remember the last time I've had food this good, this place is a little gem and I will keep visiting this place while I'm in the area 10 out of 10

Since our last visit, the decor has been upgraded and when you walk in creates a wonderful, clean image. The warm greeting upon arrival and attentiveness always helps to create a lovely evening. The background indian music is at the perfect volume and is unusual in a positive way when compared to other indian restaurants, modern, funky and danceable (tho I managed to resist the urge of totally humiliating my octogenarian parents! :-)).The humour and interaction of the staff was perfectly pitched and they were very informative about the menu.There were lovely touches of attention to detail, for example warming the brandy glass before serving it for my father. The food was wonderful as normal and booking was not required, however my parents tend to like eating slightly earlier than the average person, so we had a large choice of table locations if we wished.This is a location that most people could drive straight past (being facing, but just off a roundabout) but I'd suggest taking the time to trying out this gem. You'll certainly not regret it and the attentive staff will do everything to make your evening a most enjoyable one.Definitely worth trying out.

we had been working all Sunday 3rd April so Gail and I decided to go to our favourite place Unique Spice. THE RECEPTION AND FOOD WAS SUPERB ,OF THE VERY HIGHEST STANDARD,AND SERVED EFFICIENTLY AND QUICKLY. The food was as good as I have ever tasted. Try them and see for yourself

We were recommended Unique Spice by the place we were staying and it didn't disappoint. The food was very good and the service excellent. I had a Bangladeshi fish dish which had wonderful flavours without being over spicy.

This is a lovely restaurant right on the eastern edge of Watton with plenty of parking. There is a huge choice on the menu and the staff are very good and helpful. Plenty of parking available, and a good atmosphere. It always seems to be busy, which is a good sign.

Fab customer based service on our first and second visit. The staff are really into their restaurant and service so the food is also great. And as a life long curry eater, discovering new dishes at Unique Spice an unexpected pleasure. Seats for the older members of the family very comfortable too. See you very soon.

A meal for seven people delivered to our doorstep within half an hour of a telephoned order. The food was piping hot and of a very high quality. We even received a complimentary bottle of wine. I highly recommend Unique Spice, well worth a try!.

Me and my husband went to unique spice for Valentine's Day. The food was delicious and the service was great. Will defo be visiting again!! Loving that amz is back too. He gives the place character :-)

A friendly welcome awaits you again at Unique Spice. A very full and varied menu and if you want something a little different or a slight variation on a dish they will do their best to have it cooked for you. Also if they don't have something in stock they will run to Spar next door to try and get it for you! Have paid regular visits to Unique Spice but definitely such a better atmosphere and service with Ams and Imran in charge with the occasional entertainment provided by Uncle. Lovely food, good service in a small but friendly environment.

Seeing the old team back was long overdue, the food was 10/10 again phenomenal food good service.I wrote a review around 3 months ago and that was my last visit to unique spice reluctantly, however we tried again last night and my wife and I were delighted to see Az and Imran back together.As we become accustomed we were greeted with open arms and the service again was first class.Happy welcome back guys Thanks gents look forward to seeing you again.

Went for a birthday meal and took my 2 year old nephew the guys were so sweet learned his name spoke with him even gave him a menue so hewasnt left out, i know its a more adult resterant but they couldent be anymore helpful if they tried, made sure the hot plates were out of his reach, gave him lolly at the end of the evening and a christmas treat. Ive never known a resterant to be so helpful with child in the party. Meal itself was fantastic evrything cooked perfect and presented well. Bext experiance would recomend

My first visit and it was a good experience. Lighting is great, feels cosy but not too intimate, food is presented well and tastes great and the staff are friendly and sociable. It is clean and modern.

Had takeaway on Thursday evening. Place was empty, not surprising when I got the bill to find prices had increased. Much better Indian restaurants at much better prices. Food was very disappointing.

Love this place! Have been visiting regularly for 18 months and it never disappoints. Service from Mo and Imran is first class and friendly. I'm a real foodie and particularly like Asian cuisine. The dishes here are as authentic as they come. Last night we enjoyed the King Prawn Hariali, Chicken Tikka with a Curry Sauce on the side, Onion Bhaji, Plain Rice and their amazing Garlic Nan - a culinary delight! Don't just take my word for it, go and try. You will enjoy!

Have been a customer for the past 2 years and I have always found the staff in particular Imran and Az very welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble and you was always guaranteed A great meal and a great night. However I'm led to believe that in the last couple of months it has changed hands and my experience on Friday Night was appalling. Orders were incorrectly written down incorrect food arrived on the table and I had no food at all. A friend asked for a round of Cobras, having observed the waiter pulled them from the Kingfisher pump he challenged him on it and asked "are you sure they are cobra they look flatter and they come from that pump" the waiter was adamant they were Cobra and "100% yes cobra ! " Having walked over to the pump it was KF and they were out of cobra ! Only bottles ! Profit margin I guess! So because of this Boo Boo, we sat down and enjoyed the rest of our meals awaiting our KF to be taken away and replenished with some lovely cold Cobras ? Not quite, we had to ask for them to be changed and it was nothing but hassle, Imran then as the PR guy dealt with the issue however the attitude and overall service from the other two chaps was shocking. So for all the hassle its suggested that we get a round of drinks in, ok no problem let's try and move forward we all think, great.Not quite 9 drinks on a tray being served by a tall bald arrogant waiter proceeded to be accidentally dropped over two of our guests, rum and Baileys was the main mix there. They need a kick up the backside, whoever is managing or whoever is responsible overall.I have always previously felt that our custom has been valued however it now appears insignificant whether we use the establishment or not. With that in mind until something changes I will not be visiting again nor will I be ordering a take away.

Have visited and had many deliveries from this restaurant, has it changed hands? Had a delivery yesterday which arrived luke warm. Ordered King Prawn Rangeley chefs special recipe served inside capsicum, have always received two capsicum in the dish with plenty of prawns and sauce. There was only one capsicum this time, not only was half the quantity there the dish had increased a £1. Likewise with the King Prawn Madras increased by £1 and half the quantity, prawns were also smaller in size. Dry and smaller onion bhaji and could not find any sultanas in the peshwari nan which also had increased by 65p. Delivery also increased although petrol prices have gone down. Understand that prices may have to increase but service and quantity should not decrease. Looking for a different venue next time.

A group of two couples had our food delivered to a holiday let this weekend, we ordered a range of dishes including starters, mains and naans. The starters were good, enjoyable and tasty.The mains were a let down, quite tasteless.The shocking thing was, whilst having another spoonful I went to chew and had what I can describe as a solid charcoal edge in my mouth. Nearly broke my tooth!We all stopped eating as you could imagine.I then phoned the restaurant as it was delivered to explain the situation. I was told that there was no way this could be their fault and they had no idea how it got there.No apologies.In the end they only refunded £10 after much duress, but the point was the food was ruined. They didn't believe me so I gave them the stone.No apology or anything. TERRIBLE. I would strongly advise to never use this restaurant.Absolute shocking customer relations. I hope they drastically improve or go bust.

We are an Australian couple travelling around the UK and Unique Spice was recommended to us. The recommendation was spot on. The service and menu suggestions from Emram and Mou were excellent and they are very polite and cheerful. The food arrived quickly, was hot, fresh and delicious, (thanks chef). The meal sizes are generous. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere and is tastefully decorated and very clean. Our only regret is that because we are travelling we may not get to return. If anyone is thinking of Indian dining then come and enjoy Unique Spice.

This restaurant is comfortable but stylish. We visit regularly because the food is top class and management are nice they always have time to explain any dishes. You will not find a better place or food!

We decided to try the Unique Spice after very good reports and we were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely top class! There were some very different dishes on the menu compared to your run of the mill Indian restaurant and the ones we chose were cooked extremely well and had excellent flavours. My Salmon Dill Bahar starter had lovely flavours and was very succulent. Again with my main course King Prawn Rangely the prawns tasted very fresh and juicy cooked with very different flavours and not at all over cooked! My wife chose the Xacuti Chicken which she raved about. We were served by a very friendly and helpful waiter Suhan, nothing was too much trouble for him. When I mentioned that my main dish was not as hot in taste as I was expecting he quickly offered to return it to the kitchen to have the chef spice it up. I instead asked for a few fresh chillies to eat with my dinner and they were very quickly produced. The décor is modern, clean and very light and airy. All in all one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in the UK and a very pleasant evening. I'm sure we will return very shortly!

Our son surprised us just before Christmas by arriving all the way from Australia with his Sri Lankan fiancée. We hadn't met her and was so joyful to meet her, at last. What a pretty and beautiful young woman and so much in love with out eldest son. Finally the right person for him. It could be understood and assessed straight away, luck had struck and Eros made the right decision. After many warm embraces and kisses and to celebrate such an important visit and lasting future, we decided to introduce Hiranya to our newest local Indian Restaurant where we had many wonderfully nice and tasty family meals. Always for great celebrations and special days and this one was, indeed.We had booked a table and on arrival were greeted like old friends. The usual Papadums and sauces arrived on the table and drinks followed very rapidly. The young Manager greeted us once he had personally dealt with customers collecting their take away meals. It was a nice feeling of mixed pride and recognition to have be accepted as special clients by the top Man. Ordering was easy as with Indian food, everyone has different preferences when it comes to the chosen meat, vegetables, rice and how spicy it should be to be able to detect all the herbs and different ingredients the diverse dishes are professionally cooked to perfection. We went through all the card and our own Sri Lankan Connoisseur was curious to check how close to real traditional taste her meal would be. We didn't have to wait too long, enjoying our appetisers and toasting to our pretty and beautiful daughter in law to be. Three waiters brought all the dishes on a trolley and set them up on hot plates in front of each guest. Great planned organisation while taking the orders! The Manager came to check that we were happy with the level of the heat, although no one had taken the very hot sauces. The chicken, the beef, the fish, the prawns, the several vegetables and rices were delicious. Despite a big quantity of each of the inspiring and exotic herbs perfumed Indian, Pakistani and more refined parts of the immense continent's ancestral food, nothing was left for an acceptable doggy bag. Desserts aren't the forte of Indian Restaurants but after spices, sweets were welcome and ice creams even more. The bill arrived with the Manager's choice of his best Cognac for each of us. Queen of Britain wouldn't have had a better reception! We shall be back and we did and every time, the young Manager remembers an anecdote about us or a story shared with him and his faithful staff: this is all what makes a visit to this restaurant such the Supreme Delice: great food, great warm welcome and genuine people.

an authentic Bangladeshi restaurant. superb food in clean and friendly surroundings with excellent staff and service ist class. I have eaten in India AND Bangladesh and you will not get better anywhere . A wonderful and relaxing experience. Try them _ you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I had a very good meal at Unique Spice tonight. it was well presented plenty of it and a good selection. The staff were friendly and helpful and all together we had a very nice meal and reasonably priced..

Was looking forward to eating here Had to wait for ages to order drinks and they were slow arriving . Food was nice but Very small portions ( six pieces of lamb in my Madras ) Rice portions were tiny !! Waitress asked if she could clear the table whilst one of our party was still eating . Will not be going again .

We have been using Unique Spice for over 2 years now but will no longer eat there as a matter of principle after they have introduced a ridiculous surcharge for paying by debit card. When we raised it with the staff as to why they have enforced a charge which isn't made by the card companies we were told 'it's the new managements idea, but we dont know why its been made and many of our regular customers have complained about it' Well we are another regular customer that have complained - so new manager stop being petty and adding unjustified 'extras' to the bill or you could end up losing a lot of money.

When ordering my takeaway, the chap on the phone didn't have a very good phone manor, when asked for an eta on delivery, was told best to collect it. On collection I went to pay by debit card only to be told there'd be a £2.50 charge added! No discount offered for collection (which is very surprising) and then to be charged for using a debit card in this day & age is ludicrous. I went to the cash point & paid cash.On return home, dished up the food. I ordered a king prawn starter which had clearly been taken from the freezer, straight to the deep fat fryer. Was rubbery and freezer burned. A fiver well spent.I had a mixed grill main. All of the meat was rubbery and I'm not even sure that the lamb was lamb!Side dishes poor, naan bread poor.Ate a couple of mouthfuls and threw it away. I was advised not to use Unique Spice but thought I'd judge for myself.Wish I'd listened to the advice!Will definitely not be using them again.

we have had takeaways from here and also gone in to eat and never been disappointed. the food tastes really fresh and authentic and well cooked. they have really unique and individual dishes also that you don't tend to find anywhere else. the staff are very helpful and friendly and will suggest things they think you might like. really lovely food!!

We have been patrons using this Indian for a couple of years now, and have always had great food, great GENUINE service, and great value for money! Just had our usual meal for 2 after saving up to have a treat as its Easter, and the service was good but now its changed staff its lost its spark, the portions seem smallerThe aloo Gobi, the onions were raw and the cauliflower had a tangThe saag aloo the potatoes in both dishes were over salty and to the point of over cookedThe tikka masala had an oil slick the chicken hadn't been marinaded long enough so had no taste, and the sauce was rather thinThe so called mushroom rice didn't have many mushroomsEven the naan just wasn't up to the old standardsNew management is in place but the old atandards have gone, food had always been to a consistent quality and lush but the same kitchen staff remain but standards dropped maybe due to change over, not sure if would return as will never be the same without the old crew.

Very disappointed, after waiting nearly 2 hours for my delivery, the food turned up cold. Dont think il be getting another take away from here in a hurry.

Had several great meals here on of the best Indian meals arround great service and atmosphere . Always offered a free drink at the end of the night and amzs and imzs are great people
