Driver dropped off the wrong order so had ring to up and wait another 30 mins for the right food to be delivered. Someone also didn’t get what they ordered.

Really nice! Best chips I’ve ever had from a Chinese restaurant. The rest of the dishes were really nice. I will be back!

I love Chinese but was really disappointed everything was tasteless if I’m honest. It was the first time using this Chinese and tbh I wouldn’t order again

Had a tex to say my order was ready.still had to wait a good 10 minutes after the tex even though i was already in the take away on the time the app said my order would be ready

I pre-arranged for a 20:15 delivery but got a notification that it would be 20:50 after I chased up. The restaurant were good in communicating this and very apologetic and professional. Order arrived at around 20:40. Food good, fritters ace!

Placed order this afternoon and got a notification just after 16:40 that food would be with us at 17:25. I waited until around 6pm and then sent a text via app for an order update, the app then updated with a new time of 18:25. At 19:50 I had to call the restaurant who stated there had been an error and the order was not prepared. Food did arrive quickly after this phone call but it was over 2 hours later than originally stated. I am awaiting the response to my part refund request on this app.

Vegetable chow main very, very inedibly salty. Also order was luke warm.

absolute rubbish. food was ALL freezing cold. main item missing. call to them and was delivered 30 minutes later. when I called they were not bothered at all. mixture of Chinese and fish and chips. the fish was the size of a fish finger and cost £6.60. absolute rip off. Avoid at all costs

I like ordering via Just Eat as the system is easy and reliable. I have been a long standing customer at Underwood Chinese Takeaway and have never been disappointed with their food.

The meat wasn’t good quality, really disappointed. They sauces were incredibly gloopy too. Really not appetising . Would not order again.

Crispy seaweed was not crispy and so salty it was inedible . so 2 portions of the seaweed were wasted. Vegetable spring rolls were stone cold. Noodles and rice were really stodgy and starchy and not enjoyable. Very unsatisfied

Delivered just after given time slot over 1hr 40 after asking for ASAP then it was wrong order. No goodwill or anything as way of apology long time again to wait for our actual order to arrive. Not great service

After waiting what seemed like a decade for my food to arrive, when I eventually did receive the salt and pepper chips, the soggy paper bag collapsed all over my brand new carpet,not even DR Beckmans will remove the large grease stain. I then moved on to my duck with black bean sauce, I can only compare to a dog chew I bought for my puppy from b&m last Tuesday. I won’t talk about the rest, but my cat who likes to lick the plate promptly went to finish her bowl of whiskers on the kitchen floor.

We’ve recently moved house and wanted to try a new local Chinese takeaway. This Chinese did not disappointed we will definitely be ordering from here in future. The food was still really hot by the time it reached us and was delicious , everything was 10/10 and the delivery time was super quick . Would definitely recommend

Lovely food delivered by a lovely delivery driver, called Jordan. Such a kind person and cheerful too.

Food was an hour late. Rang the restaurant when it was 20 minutes late, they said it would be a couple of minutes. Rang again after a further 20 minutes and they said it would be 15 minutes. Food was cold when it arrived

I had to throw the complete order away. Ribs were burnt and dry. Crispy chilli chicken was like rubber and was soaked in what tasted like barbecue sauce. The special fried rice was tasteless and the meats tasted metallic, spring rolls had next to nothing in them apart from grease. All in all the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Save your money and don’t order. Oh and all of it was cold.

Iv just had the very worst service iv ever received it was sausage chips and nuggets and chips after an hour I was told drivers on way 30min later I received stone cold food in soaking wet paper bags as it had been sat in a carrier bag for an hour kids wer starving and wen I rang back he told me he would come collect it and if it was all their replace it 🙃 never ever again abysmal

The website is easy to use. Good communication and delivery was made at the exact time requested. I have been a loyal customer for decades at Underwood Chinese Takeaway and their food never disappoints. Tasty, healthy and good value for money.

sweet and sour pork was dry, sweet and sour sauce was thick and set in the tub, chips pure grease. we won't be back, delivery was delayed after it was said it was delivered when it wasn't then added extra 45mins when questioned

Nearly 2 hours for delivery. Food lukewarm and ok, chips cold and soggy. Used to be nice from here, but last couple orders have shown that this place is not what it was

Always use this Chinese. New to the area and has become a firm favourite. Curry sauce is particularly nice & the salt & pepper chicken is lovely.

Normally really good and we can't fault the food from here. However this evening the family did not enjoy it at all and it was all cold with stale prawn crackers. Hopefully this was just a one off.

Ordered sliced beef and mushrooms. Awful. The beef was like shoe leather. Incredibly hard to chew. Don't bother with that recipe.

Food is really good! Arrived in about an hour and was hot, fresh and tasty. The rice could be a little hotter but I don’t mind so much. My only gripe is they’ve changed the sweet and sour sauce recently and it’s absolutely vile! I’ve had to add three sweeteners every time. It’s like red sour vinegar, I miss the old sauce. Please bring it back else I’ll have to go somewhere else. ☹️

Food was stone cold used this Chinese for years doubt will be ordering again. Don’t like leaving negative reviews but tonight needed 1, times night might have been a blip but after what I spent I would expect the meal to be hot, wasn’t even offered a partial or full refund

second time i have had to call to chase the delivery. Ordered early to avoid delays but still over one and half hours from ordering to delivery

It took the food 2 hours to arrive since we ordered. 45 minutes after initial delivery time. The green curry was almost unbeatable- there were chunks of uncooked flour in the meal and the chicken also tasted like flour. The salt and chilli chicken was cold when it arrived. Really disappointed with this order as we normally love your food. But this was terrible.

Food was mediocre. Soggy spring rolls and chicken balls were somewhat slimy inside. The chicken in the special rice had a rubbery texture when in the mouth too. All else was fine, may order again but different items.

Never have a bad Chinese from these guys. The special chow mein is delicious and my favourite - loads of flavour, loads of meat, and good size portion. Other items I've had here have also been good. Always arrives hot.

The prawn crackers were stale and inedible, they're usually fine. Everything else was good but not very warm.

Great service, and delivery just maybe provide heat retaining bags for the drivers. As food always needs reheating when it arrives.
