Environment is great and attractive. However the cream tea we ordered were quite disappointed. Firstly, the cup is the top one which is quite weird, breakfast tea is certainly not strong enough. Lastly, the scone was really small size which you can tell by the picture. To be fair the taste was good though as the scone was heated when being served.

Dropped in for some take out cakes on the way home and had a look at the menu, decided to come back next week for a meal. The place is nicely decorated with comfy chairs, nice and bright. We had two main courses and the food was delicious, portion sizes are ample, staff are very friendly, will be returning with friends.

Tried this on Sunday. Had a toasted Panini and a coffee. The Panini was ham and Brie and tasted delicious. The coffee was really hot and good value. The restaurant had a distinct French feel about it and is well worth a visit.

Booked the private room for a work gathering. It was on the advice of some colleagues - so went with it. Was not impressed that I was told 12.5% would be added to every drink and the buffet. It was non negotiable. On the evening the room looked pretty and the staff were nice, especially the gentleman who I think, may run the restaurant. He was excellent. When I queried the amount of food for the £400 we had paid - he couldn’t have been more helpful in replenishing it. However I thought this was damage limitation, as the snooty serving staff said - yes, this is it! I am not convinced the service charge goes to the staff - so I get her attitude. But overall, it is overpriced and not a patch on Carluccio’s.

Lovely food, nice pub. Limited on drinks - only bitter was IPA, only rose fizz, no light ale

It was a great catch up meal with friends. Was pleasantly surprised that the noise volume was much better than I'd expected within the place and therefore it was easy to hear each other whilst we chatted even with a large party nearby. Was warm but not hot environment. Toilet facilities were clearly marked and easy to access and very clean. Food was good however honey dough balls were slightly spice than anticipated and it wasn't until finished the starter that realised the honey was in the side dish and not actually over the balls when served 😅. All friends had the new salad in middle of pizza ..novelty idea but looked nice and I had pollo pesto which was lovely and had to finish with tirimasu 😋. Another nice idea that they now do is the mini dessert with coffee or tea on the side..brilliant idea 💡. Great evening and thank you Pizza Express for the excellent table service.

The most perfect spot for a coffee or meal. My dog loved it too. Lots of water bowls

First to arrive for an early pre-concert meal, so lacked atmosphere until other diners arrived. Didn't look open so needs work on lighting, but the food is outstanding. The Chef/patron took our order and then cooked it to our exact requirements, quite happy to substitute items in the Carbonara--mushrooms and courgette for Pancetta-, and gluten-free pasta for my wife. Substantial portions with surprisingly generous amounts of prawns and monkfish in the linguine. Just needs a little tweak with the presentation and the decor.as the food is very good indeed.
