When the delivery driver arrived 2 hours after we placed our order. She informed us that when she went to collect the food the guy cooking said that the food had been sat there over an an hour. He gave her stone cold food that had been sat an hour

Burgers we're arufull had gristle in them chips chicken were nice staff was helpfull and friendly

Really disappointing, although I'm not sure Uncle Sam's were at fault. We thought food would arrive around 7.35pm. It arrived nearly an hour later and was cold. We had to throw away the milkshake since it was melted. Over £35 for food for two and very poor quality. Will not order again.

Original delivery time moved back and back, food stole cold on arrival, grumpy delivery human. Last order was 10/10 this one 1/10

food warm and got given a bottle of cherry coke when I asked for a coke. clearly just ran to the shop next door and grabbed it without looking

Nearly 2 hrs to arrive, food stone cold,no straw, thickshake melted, no salt and soggy chips. All in all terrible. £32 for that soggy rubbish meal which I will not be having again. Its McDonalds all the way from now on although not from Polegate as they are rubbish also.

Very friendly staff, loved it here. Food was great and came quickly. Young staff member called Shayan was very helpful taking our order!

Hadn't been to an Uncle Sam's for years. It was good way-back and it was great today. Chilli burger, garlic burger, bacon cheeseburger, spicy beanburger - fantastic stuff. Reasonably priced too. Can't wait to come again

Ordered a hamburger, got a cheeseburger food was cold when called shop to rectify there was no answer.

Absolute awful experience with just eat delivery driver, handed the bags over which were drenched in the drinks and have collapsed all food on the floor wet and all over my hall rug. Said it wasn't her fault!? Fuming!!!

The driver contacted after he was already late but refused to deliver to our house even thought he’d come to our postcode because he wanted us to come find him a street away and then hung up on me. We know the restaurant does great food but we didn’t get to have it. Order through a different platform (not JustEat) if you want to get your food delivered.

They didn’t tell the driver that they had packed a drink inside a brown bag so obviously when the food arrived it had spilled everywhere, so I had no drink and soggy food. No refund issued. Driver was lovely though, wasn’t his fault

Went and picked up from this place. Never been here before and absolutely amazed how good these burgers are from here. By far the best tasting burger I’ve ever eaten.20 times better than Burger King.

original delivery time was 19:00 - 19:20 and arrived at 20:05. The food was stone cold and almost inedible.

Uncle Sam’s always seem to struggle with my delivery address but that’s a sat nav issue. Does make my burgers a little cooler though ! Still they taste great as always

Burgers were good. Disappointed didn't have cheese in either of the burgers. If shop has run out of cheese would be nice to be advised.

The burgers and chips were cold, the milkshake was not good and the Diet Coke was flat. I didn’t receive my dip for the chicken bites or the 3 chilli dips x 75p and blue cheese dip x £1.50 that I paid for. It was a rather disappointing meal as it costs £10.00 more than a McDonalds.

Food is really yummy!! However, marking down because I am not happy that the double veggie burger was nearly £10 and it only arrived as a SINGLE 😮‍💨 quite disappointing, too much money for that 😕

I said no ketchup but there was other sauce on it but no option to remove it so couldn't eat the burger

Uncle Sams is a family favourite. The food is always fresh and tasty, and was delivered correctly and swiftly. Will always recommend.

Everything was cold apart from onion rings. The buns were rock solid, chips soft, drinks certainly werent the brand they advertised.

Food arrived hot, really good burgers. Slight mix up on burger contents took the lettuce out and left the tomato instead of vice versa. Not the end of the world, will likely order again.

Having been loyal customer for over 20 years this was by far worst meal we have had. Stone cold burgers with soggy buns and missing half the order. Ordered 3 meals and 2 portions of chips were missing so had to split one small portion of cold chips between 3. Milkshakes were fine and delivery driver friendly but for £40 for 3 burgers “meals” we are massively disappointed.

Spicy bean burgers are no longer spicy bean but are more of a cumin vegetable burger. Almost inedible and definitely not good with mayo and ketchup. Please change back to spicy bean burgers!

Took way to long to assign a driver Food was nice but someone who cooked my food took it upon themselves to salt my chips which I though was poor customer service, what if I didn’t want salt on chips .

Very very disappointed. Burgers tasted like those tinned ones, cheese was the cheap and nasty slices you get. The fries tasted like they’d been sitting around for a while and most def not fresh! The milkshakes were not mixed properly and were so sweet you could taste the chemicals. This was certainly not how I remember uncle sams to be as it’s been a while since we’ve had one but will not order from here again as I’d say even macdonalds is much better and that’s saying something.

Our order said it would be here between 20.05- 20.25 then changed to 20.35 and arrived at 20.41. It’s absolutely stone cold. Feels like it’s been cooked ages ago and left to go cold. Normally a great service but not tonight, not a happy household so won’t be ordering again.

Absolutely love the food from Uncle Sams! We’ve ordered from them quite a few times in the past as well and always had a positive experience. The food is always hot, cooked well, had great service and there have never been any issues at all. Will definitely be ordering from them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Nice burgers, good prices. All star is my favourite. Best to go and eat on the spot. If you order via food apps, it won't be the same.

The driver arrived with just the drinks. Then whilst trying to sort the food I was asked if I could drive? I wouldn't have ordered delivery if I wanted to drive! Was eventually sorted.

Terrible. Loved uncle sams for the last 20 years but the worst 2 times have been at Eastbourne. The bun was stale and not the normal bun. Half the contents were missing ,, discusting

The food we ordered never showed up and when contacting the restaurant, was told as far as they where considered the food had been delivered and it wasn’t their problem but a just eat one.
