The landlady and her team simply could not do enough to ensure my son and his gorgeous new wife had the most glorious & magical wedding day. The head chef created two magnificent wedding buffets, It certainly was a feast. Working together with the landlady & Chef to create everything within our budget. Allowing us free reign to decorate, although the venue already has ample rustic charm that lends itself as a wedding venue. The whole team assisted in anyway that was needed, even providing refreshments to keep us going during set up and takedown.Everyone was just so friendly & helpful. The communication with Emma the landlady was spot on with every step, friendly & accommodating, from planning to execution. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend ' The Farm' Friday Street as a wedding reception venue, fabulous Sunday roasts with acoustic sessions, a great meeting place with friends and family. You will be given a warm welcome for sure. I can not thank them enough.

It’s been a while since we have eaten here. There’s a new chef and we were really pleased with the changes this has brought in. Fantastic quality of food. Back to what we always expected from Friday Street. The lovely Emma served us and as always good service. Well worth a visit. I am fussy about roast dinners outside the home but this was worth it. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Not the greatest. The roast was very dry and bland. Potatoes were the most disappointing bit of the whole dish. The best bit was the gravy and the dessert. Font of house staff was great though full credit to them. Hopefully, it will improve next time I visit

Until We were there I didn’t realise it was paper of the Revived Group, it I had a wouldn’t even have gone in. My second visit to their well overpriced pubs with minimum service. A glass of very mediocre wine was £6.20 the cheapest, a packet of crisps was £1.30 and a small child’s coke was £3. ! At five glasses to the bottle this equates to £31 for the bottle which zi doubt cost £5. We looked at the food menu, basic ordinary starters and mains are ridiculously high, cheaper in some proper restaurants, needless to say we declined to eat and left, We will not be returning to any Revived Inns public houses. Whist I appreciate that prices and costs have risen and places are closing many of them I’m sure because places like this are putting people off. Plenty of other pubs with far better value, give these a miss.

Such a beautiful building but we hadn’t been for a while. Friendly attentive staff. However the food has gone down hill since our past visits. The food was nice but nothing special and certainly not worth the large price tags. We were told that they had no beef burgers yet as “they hadn’t finished defrosting”. There was only one pie left. This was on a Saturday lunchtime at the start of service. Nothing was unpleasant but for the price it was disappointing. Dropping prices or increasing the standard of the dishes would easily solve this.

We’re local and went to the farm today having not visited for a long time. I want to start by saying that the pub is utterly gorgeous. The staff too were really friendly. However we’re very disappointed with the food options and the food itself. I haven’t done a review in a very long time but we were so annoyed that it felt only right to. I ordered the vegan burger which should come with chips and a salad. I enquired about the chips as they didn’t have a (ve) symbol despite being listed as served with a vegan burger. We were told that they aren’t vegan as they are cooked in the same oil as the fish. This is such a huge waste and has turned a vegan product into not even vegetarian. We still stayed and I had just the burger and salad - if they can be called that. The ‘burger’ was quite literally one mushroom, a slice of pepper, a slice of tomato, lettuce and a bun. I’m not sure how it can be called a burger when there is no patty at all. It still cost over £10 despite money being taken off for the lack of chips. I certainly don’t expect to go out for lunch and then have to go home and eat something else afterwards. My fiancés blue cheese and beef burger was also disappointing. He commented that the beef itself was good but the cheese was virtually non-existent. It’s a real shame and I can’t comment on the other vegan options on the menu, but given the poor attempt at a burger I don’t hold out much hope. I don’t think we’ll be visiting again for food, nor will we be recommending it to others. I hope that they’ll update the menu to be more inclusive and in keeping with this day and age. This has done both the pub itself and the staff a disservice.

It was very dark just candles and bare lighting and the food took a long time to arrive even though they were not busy.

A big thank you to Emma and the team. We had a fabulous birthday party in the back room. There were sixteen of us. The set up was perfect, the food was great quality. Service was relaxed but spot on for what we were looking for. Staff attentive, friendly & helpful. Having a pre order made it so easy. We’ll be back again soon.

Friendly unpretentious Italian cafe with excellent strong Americano. "That'll warm you up !" says cheery young staff as I come in from the rain. And it did.

Much improved from previous Stage Door. Handsome interior design enhancing the original pub’s fine features. Staff very helpful and friendly. Limited menu, but very tasty food. Ranging from burgers to more sophisticated options. We had the special. Excellent views over the tennis courts. Highly recommend.
