Uncle Sams in Brighton and Hove

I was a regular customer online through just eat and now but they were a let as are mabey one or two of the staff in shop I just ordered 1 cheese burger 1 fries and 2 dips I don't no who seved me but the chios were not cooked properly still hard in some of them and the burger was terrible hardly any salad and it was squashed this is the second time in 2 wks I have ordered a delivery I am annoyed because the managers are lovely people who I have had a face to face conversation about the same problem whoever served my burger or made it can't cook and present a cheeseburger how hard is it to cook chips and a burger I will be contacting the franchise owners about this for the second time

Food was barely warm, no straw for the milkshake and my chiliburger was full of mayonnaise. awful overpriced trash

The drinks were leaking through the bag. So so sticky and spilt all over the place, had no option but to bin them. The food was thrown together and a real mess. And the temp could have been a lot better too, cold!

The burgers were ok and the shakes good but the fries were not crispy and limp

Good foods but the restroom was massively disgusting and huge let’s down, broken toilet lid, mouldy sink, and overflowing trash

Nice local, good quality food and reasonable prices.

Been a while since my last Uncle Sam’s, no complaints my side. Kept up the good work

Cold, stingey on chips and ordered a double and got a single burger

My burger was cold my chips were cold this is my second delivery today I'm deeply disappointed

Fantastic burgers please let uncle sams no these 2 burgers were unbelievable in a fantastic way especially to my request I'm so happy still you need to help your good customers who order with yourselves with offers and loyalty In my experience I have ordered over 1000s of delivery from you but no loyalty please be aware because I may stop and over 1 year I have spent over 1000 pounds

i ordered a large strawberry milk shake the driver said he didnt have it not happy

The chips were barely warm and the burger wasn’t much better !

Food arrived hot, on time and with a friendly delivery driver.

Ordered items did not realise that it was collection only was charged by just eat 10 pounds to collect my order

You charged me for 6. Burgers I only ordered 2 plus onions rings chips 3 times why the heck would I order that many food items as well you no I only order 1 or 2 burgers and 1 burger 1 fries 1 onion rings 1 of each garlic and chilli not 6 x each there is a fault in your order system I want my money back for 1 order which normally costs £17.95 or there abouts please check your order system I tride turning the deliman away he was adamant to drop on floor and walk away I'm furious

Fantastic food hot and early delivery very happy

I did oder at 11am and thumbs up for delivery it said 1140am then 1150 it wasn't very hot to be fair as a very good customer I expected it spot on the restaurant was excellent with my order but if you use a cyclist it's going to be cold or if it was a moter cycle it should be onetime

chips were very unexciting a real shame and the food was 20 minutes late. burgers however and milkshakes delicious as always

I was asked to me called when arrived as buzzer wasn't working in our block of flats. These instructions were followed and meal was delicious. Recommended.

Ordered blue cheese burger and fries + additional fries + 2 milkshakes tonight. Drove a mile home and found fries were stone cold and soggy and burger was luke warm. Called store to complained and male said he saw fries being cooked so could not understand why they were cold. I suggested they weren't fresh and he argued the point. Absolutely no customer apology and/or offer to give good customer service. Uncle Sam's have been going since the first shop opened, in Montpelier Road, Brighton in 1971 and we have supported the brand ever since but after tonight's offering perhaps it time for a change? ............

It's telling me my order has been delivered but its not arrived

Never had a problem with this place. Best thick shakes around and burgers are as they have always been. Excellent

Lovely burgers shame chips were cold and very unexciting. A real shame as normally so nice

Although Christmas Eve where you can have some allowance for the continual push back on delivery, sending it cold is not good.

Love uncle Sam’s but this was the worst I’ve ever had, normally use Shoreham or lancing, hangleton nowhere near the usual standard

I wasn't happy it came up on restaurant after I payed that it was closed then didn't hear nothing so went else where and got my food in 30 mins then over a hour odd later the uncle Sam's turned up chips where soggy we didn't eat it cause had to order else where as we didn't think it was gonna turn up so I would like a refund still worst service I've had in long time.

I ordered at 7.15 we have a uncle Sam’s patcham but order came from hangleton stone cold in the bin waited 1 hour 45 minutes

Late arrival and was cold by the time I got it.

This is the second time ordering from you, first time food didn’t arrive at all and I had to go and pick it up myself, and this time the delivery time kept changing and when eventually it came it was completely cold

The burger bun was all soggy like it had been soaked in water, and was absolutely swimming in mayonnaise. Disgusting mess, yuk.

stingy portion size for money paid, I received small fries .. food wasn’t warm and burger didn’t taste as good as usual

Chicken sandwich awful. Couldn't bite through the chicken. it was very tough. Nuggets were good, though.

Wasn’t worth the money spent tbh £1.61 added on bill service charge ??? Delivery charge I get it, but the service charge is when you eat inside the establishment. Food was nothing special Won’t be ordering again.

I asked for and paid for a garlic and mayonaise dip which was not included on my order cost me 75p.

My request for no lettuce was ignored. Food was lukewarm.

I personally think for Uber delivery you should stick a sticker on the bag to seal it rather then just popping it in a paper bags that is open. It would keep it warmer and peace of mind for tampering

So unhygienic!!! Ended up asking for a refund before we even had our food. The woman (supervisor) making/packing our food was eating/wiping her mouth and it was just filthy in general. Staff looked miserable and had a negative engery. Now I know Uncle Sam's isn't a 5 star restaurant/take away but still basic hygiene is needed!!!!

Food arrived on time, ybforynatly the fries were cold, as was sine of the bacon burger. The cheese was stuck to the paper bag so I didn't get much in the burger.

Honestly shocking, everything was soggy and anemic. Never order delivery

Food had 3 black pellets in , when spreading to customer service I was told nothing could be done very disappointing

It was a shame that the food took over and hour and a half and the time of delivery kept changing. Usually pretty good food, maybe this was an app problem.

Lisen I'm happy with just ear but the food was cold due to the delivery cycle man he had to call me to find out were I live its not good to be honest either he's a new employee that's fair enough but I've been with just eat for years now and unfortunately I had to let you no because its expensive delivery at £3.99 the food is more costly I understand that but when I get a call to say we're do I live and he's cycled here its not to good my food really wasn't warm even I contacted uncle sams they apologised and said the guy was nit to sure which way to travel to them and said make your complaint to just eat the reason I'm contacting you now is I had to eat my food and drive to Eastbourne hospital on private situation. I don't want you to be harsh on your delivery man but on the other hand I've paid nearly £20 and had cold food kind regards Chris Gibbons

I ordered a double cheeseburger & large fries, to be delivered via deliveroo. Food arrived stone cold & 'large' fries was really small and not proper chips, just tiny pieces of fries. Don't waste your money here. I could see from the deliveroo tracker that the food had been handed to the deliveroo rider, who sat outside the shop for 20 mins. I asked the rider about the delay, and they said the shop had told them to wait. Looks like they are making customers wait so that they can give the riders multiple orders. Who cares if the food arrives cold! Terrible quality which was inedible so binned straightaway.
