Nice deli and restaurant, great choice of cheese and Spanish foods.

What a gem. Perfection. Lovely space, warm and friendly service, interesting menu and wines (actually the wine selection is outstanding) - and the cooking is a brilliant portal into Spain. Delicious.

Absolutely amazing find. So surprised when we stumbled upon this little gem with great food, wine and atmosphere. We only stopped for a relaxed and simple lunch but we weee not disappointed. They easily accommodated out dietary needs and provided a lovely spread of cured meats, cheeses, spreads, pickles and breads. All washed down with a glass of house white which was pleasant and crisp.

Happened to stumble upon this deli and I could not recommend it enough!! Phenomenal sandwiches for bargain prices, with an impressive selection of goods and produce on offer. Staff are very kind and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is very nice, but the staff is quite junior; they're late, they don't look for customers trying to get their attention, and they've forgotten items/drinks more than once. I recommend sitting inside, there's a lot of seagulls out.

Found this place by accident..didn't realise there was a wine bar with food behind main deli, fantastic.. if I hadn't booked a meal elsewhere would have spent all evening here, wine and staff were amazing, will definitely visit aberystwyth again just to visit here x

We visited on Saturday with myself and 4 other adults as we had been told what a nice place it was to visit especially the bar behind. But unfortunately we were treated rudely by the guy in charge at the time and so unfortunately we will not be visiting again, we were offered an apology by another member of staff but very unimpressed with the way we were treated. I advise against visiting this establishment.

Excellent Spanish food and drinks. Unbelievable to find this in a small town.

Our son wanted some nice soft cheese & the lady who served us gave my son a little taster of some & was sold on the taste of it, reasonably priced & came away a happy chappy.

Sorry, I forgot to photograph the food but it was absolutely fantastic. We sampled several dishes for lunch, including the squid, potato bravas, prawn & lentil fritters and more. This was some of the best tapas we've had outside of Spain. The staff were very attentive and the service was great. Their shop is also really good with a massive selection of vermouth, wine and Spanish foods.

The food was ok, along with the staff. The tapas are quite good and the wine was ok. Overall, not a disappointment, but quite an expensive place.

Lovely Spanish Deli. Staff were very friendly and helped us choose cheeses. The basque cheesecake they sell has ruined all other cheesecakes for us.

I remember the time when this used to be a bustling tapas bar with better selection and well priced dishes, allowing all of your party to try and experience lots of well cooked tapas. The tapas dish prices now seem high, around the £10 mark each. To top it off, they have limited offering of wine by the glass (4 in total), instead clearly trying to get you to purchase a bottle from the deli which attracts a £15, yes £15 corkage fee. This is daylight robbery considering there is likely already a mark up on the bottle. A dampener on our visit back to Aberystwyth.

This is my second visit to Ultracomida. My son and I enjoyed the Bocadillos (Chorizo / olive & Hummus / olive) and Patatas Bravas. The bread is fantastic, the toppings are flavourful. The Patatas Bravas were fantastic and I didn't want to share! I was surprised how authentic the food is and impressed with the selection of Spanish imports, meats, cheeses, olives and of course wine. The restaurant is small and tidy, the service is good... helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I took 2 bottles of my favourite Vichy Catalan water home with me and can't wait to visit again soon.

1…2….oh my god….. this place is not to be missed !!! People working here are so friendly and helpful….. food is quality…. We were staying in an Air BnB around the corner and picked up a selection off the menu …. Artichoke salad; meat and cheese platter ….a loaf of oven ready bread (the staff said 12 mins at 160C and you’re good to go)….. croquettes that were so light and airy and full of flavor….. it’s the kind of place that has an impact on the area…and don’t forget about vermouth, sherry and wines …. Can’t wait to come back and thanks for sharing your kitchen with us !!!

A little gem of a place, with a lovely range of deli products to buy and we enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Fabulous. Been coming here for years buying delicious stuff but stopped for lunch today. Wonderfully authentic tapas, lentils with chorizo was a particular highlight and the house rose wine was perfect. An absolute gem in a great Welsh seaside town. Even the dog got a little tapas treat x

Amazing food. Best sandwich I’ve ever had out. Ultra comida is a great place to stop for some lunch or to shop for some amazing authentic Spanish foods. 100% worth a stop and I will be going again whenever I’m in Aberystwyth next.

Forget about fish and chips! Go to this place and grab absolutely nice anf top quality food mostly from Spain. Staff is really good. So many nice products to try in there. Great place

Authentic Spanish food to eat in with excellent selection of wine to enjoy with it. Very attentive staff. Good selection of Spanish foods in the shop part. Well worth a visit.

We visited as a group of 5 and shared several tapas-style dishes, which were really tasty and well prepared. Staff were knowledgeable about the dishes and the wines and made excellent suggestions based on our likes. Afterwards we were further advised on wines and cheeses to buy. Can't fault either food or service.

Very limited sit down space, always feel privileged to get a seat. Food is excellent and authentic and staff are helpful and friendly. Comfortable and relaxed vibe. Looking forward to trying out more of the menu options next time but will always finish off with basque cheesecake and coffee 😋

My husband is in a wheelchair so I did a reckie earlier..........so when we arrived, as promised, they got one of their outside tables in and made us very comfortable. The staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed the croquettes, stuffed dates and pan con tomate y serrano. House white very palatable. Very relaxed, happy atmosphere, loved it.

Stopped for lunch not been for over 6 months but just as good as ever. Followed by a visit to the wine warehouse on the edge of town for 6 bottles of wine for Christmas. Love the wine always excellent.

The shop at the front attracts you in with the vision & smells of wonderful cheese and other delights; I was happy to discover the tapas bar at the back & booked to come back with family; we shared a range of the tapas dishes, all were very tasty, and we enjoyed the food and drinks surrounded by so much wine! The seats were high, but as we had someone who would struggle with that they quickly bought in a lower table and chairs and made sure we had everything we need. This was a wonderful place for our first evening in the town.

An absolute gem of a place, as a Spanish Welsh deli it is fantastic, with really great quality products, and knowledgeable and helpful staff. And the small restaurant area at the back has some absolutely great Spanish food served in an intimate little dining area. Deserves more than five stars to be honest.

Tucked away within a shop, you'll discover a quaint and atmospheric restaurant serving a range of Spanish food and wine. There's not a lot of space, but it gets very busy, and they get pushed to the limit. The food is authentic and delicious but a little on the pricey side for the portion sizes. Worth hunting down if you fancy something out of the ordinary.

Great staff who were friendly and helpful, although they were busy and this was at noon. Lovely wine and the coffee/wine bar at back of the shop was so bougie! Disappointed with the food, we had pan con tomato which was way too garlicky it burned a bit, croquettes jamon were nice but not much jamon, but the pork scratchings were an absolute rip off! £5 for a small tapas plate of pork scratchings which would be pushing to say it was a small bags worth. They were rubbish too, had better from Home Bargains. Absolutely worth visiting for wine, probably for jamon too!

Wow!!! What a great sandwich…. And what amazing value…. The sandwich I’ve just had was huuuuuge and filled with the most amazing pork loin, spicy peppers and mayo!! ….. all for a fiver!!!!!!! Madness!!!!! I Will be coming to work in Aberystwyth more often, even though it is nearly 3hrs drive!!! Really glad I stopped by, and looking forward to my air dried beef when I get home, this is my kind of heaven!

Authentic concept but overpriced.

Amazing 👏 Showed up a little early and greated by a love member of the team. They were professional and friendly. Really made the whole event memorable. The food was outstanding.

We popped in for some cheese and meats to take away at 5pm ish and they had already covered up packed away cheeses & cold meats and said "we can't give you anything as we close at 7pm" they had two hours left to serve! The day before we did get a sandwich and redwine to take away and the product are great, it's a case of getting your hands on their terms.

Food, drinks, cheeses, olives.... Everything is delicious 😋😋😋 I even don't mention cheesecake. The heaven in your mouth! And outstanding amount of different vermouths....

A noisy family group of seven, we were served quickly and cheerfully with a delicious selection of tapas and lemonade and glasses of cool manzanilla. All delicious and a great atmosphere. Also a wide range of Spanish cheeses, wines, olives etc. We will come back when next in Aber. Thank you!

Fabulous selection of wine, cheese, olives, and all you want and dream from Spain predominately but also French, Portugal, and Wales.. Victoria and David welcome me with kindness and explain about the wine and cheese selection. You really need to be local to know how great this place is. Truly recommend

Not friendly at all. Really rude guy that was abrupt and obviously didnt want to sell anything. It's a real shame.

Wonderful vibe, fabulous range of drinks and the flight of sherry for £12 was a delight.

Had a super lunch - with a glass of sangria for a very reasonable price. Deli is very well stocked.

I felt so at home here! So much in the shop to drool over. We got there just before the kitchen closed and I’m so glad we did! Everything we ordered was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed for a flight of vermouth! We didn’t realize they stopped serving at 3. :( We got the sardines with crisps, a salad and a meat and cheese plate. Food was simple and high quality. Ticked all my boxes. The shop had many wines, vermouth, oils, fish, cheese.. I was so overwhelmed by the selection I didn’t actually buy anything to take away. I’m regretting that now! Recommend for anyone visiting the area..

We have been to their deli/tapas bar in Narberth a few times and it’s always been superb. We enjoyed our visit to the Aberystwyth deli and had some tapas at lunchtime. The tapas here is not so varied as in Narberth as the eating area is much smaller, but enjoyable nevertheless. Spanish black pudding (Morcilla de Burgos) with sweet peppers was awesome. Also had mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. Lovely place.

Authentic and delicious Spanish tapas in a small and intimate setting. Highly recommended! Also, have a good selection of wines and Spanish beers, plus the deli shop is amazing.

Very disappointing chickpea salad box. A few green leaves with a cup of chickpeas for £6. Everything else looks wonderful in the shop. We must have been unlucky.

OMG! What a find on a Saturday afternoon! Amazing deli with a little bar area out the back serving food. These are my favourite kind of places, the ones where you just wander down a high street and think, 'ooo that looks nice' - only to be blown away! Great food - we went for the sharing platter with olives, meat, cheese and bread (just a little snack each), and then we both had the sherry flight which came with more olives and almonds - the almonds were to die for! Sadly, we we're only in Aberystwyth for a short break but we're already planning on coming back so that we can try Ultracomida again.

A lovely deli and restaurant/tapas bar - we loved the plate of meats and cheeses accompanied by some of their fine sherries

My girlfriend and I had the amazing toasted sandwiches they had to offer, and we thoroughly enjoyed them! We mentioned how good they were a fair few times during the rest of the day! Great food and service!

What a fantastic little place. Would have liked more gluten free choices but what we had was great, really lovely team working there, awesome ambiance. One of our favourite places.

My friend and I had lunch here while on a week's holiday in the area. It's an unassuming little place from the outside but once inside the foodie and alcoholic delights are apparent. The lunch I had with goats cheese and salad was perfect. I could eat this meal all day and every day. I washed it down with a beer and we had a good sized portion of mixed olives while our lunch was freshly prepared. Highly recommended eating place.

Really looking forward to visiting this place after a recommendation. Arrived to find a sign in the door "cash only - thank you for understanding ". I understand that it excludes people and chose to spend my money elsewhere!

Always lovely food and friendly staff. The seating has been reduced by the removal of the large circular table so seating is on bar stools, and probably best for couples. But there is lots of wine on display to buy.

Called by for late-ish lunch; staff hugely helpful and warm, and my smoked ham sandwich terrific value, the ham thickly layered on lovely bread. The deli shop also a treat, with fabulous cheeses, multiple sherries and broad range of delights. A memorably excellent experience.

Ultracomida now have a lovely eat out by the sea location. Same great view, but near the beautiful sea. Highly recommended.

Can't lie, still OK, but does not live up to former glory. Too many wine and vermouth bottles stacked everywhere, eating only on bar stools looking at green walls with food splatters and only 5 warm tapas on the menuw the evening I was there. Sorry, does not rock my boat. Apart from salt cod fishcakes, the fish dishes were cold from tins. If you like cold tapas, it's fine, and their cheese section amazing. The house red and the staff were were both pleasant.

Absolutely loved It, tucked away so only just found it. If you Love, cheese, olives and wine. Visiting here is a must (2018/2019). Been back a few times now, and the table layout has changed, just one in the middle but the same seating around the sides. More wine on display now. Very nice to pop in and have a glass of red with a few nibbles. (2022)

We escaped from the rain into this small but very enticing delicatessen of cheeses and Spanish wine, only to discover the eating area at the back. Our toasted filled bap was all the more delicious for being accompanied by a carafe of wine. Efficient and friendly service by youthful staff.

after a uni open day we nipped into Aber to get a feel of the town; this deli truly made it for me. with a wide and varied selection of cheeses, meats, and vin, you can really find everything you need here. specialising in Spanish cuisine we opted for a meat tray as well as the cheese of the week, a baguette, and other goodies. all of which was perfect. the staff in here of well informed and so welcoming, I wish we had time to stay for dinner!

What an amazing place!! Only stopped in town for a quick visit and this was the first place that caught our eye after parking on the promenade. A very attractive window display lured us in… and oh boy!! This place has the most amazing selection of Spanish produce!! Blown away. All presented in the most colourful way, with every shelve a temptation. If you love Spanish food, this place is a must visit with every nook and cranny filled with delights. I also must add that the staff here were very welcoming, attentive and ready to show you around. There’s an obvious pride in working here, and quite rightly too.

We visited Aberystwyth on a Monday, which is when every restaurant seems to close. We stumbled upon Ultracomida by chance, having spotted the huge selection of cheeses from the window. Hungry and windswept, the decision was made to have a glass of wine and some tapas in the café in the back. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable it made the whole experience. It was just lovely. Incredible wine and deliciously prepared tapas. The crab croquettes are a must. My grumble. To be served and charged £4.00 for pork scratching that sell in the shop to take away at £1.25 was not appreciated. Yes there is a premium for a bar stool and to be waited on, but a 220% mark up is not fair. I could have bought 3 packets and still had change, if I’d just bought them in your shop. This brings your score down to Average.

Popped in to buy some cheese etc. Shop assistant was incredibly rude, young foreign girl. Completely understand that you can’t touch the unwrapped food but picked up a piece of wrapped, sellophaned cheese and she shouted across the shop ‘don’t touch the cheese’. Sorry I...

Visited the town with the intention of getting some lunch whilst shopping. This place looked interesting and had seating outside as we had our dog with us. The table was cluttered and needed clearing and as we sat down a male staff member looked at...
