Food was lovely, best fish I've had in a long time

Paid £20 for a kebab meal deal.. it was not the nicest if I’m honest. The hot chicken wings were breaded and mainly crumb and greasy. There was no pitta and the kebab meat was not the best. The chicken was fatty and had a weird tasting flavouring to it, couldn’t eat it, the doner meat was like cardboard. The chips was the only thing that was nice about it. It has put us off the place and we now feel a bit sick after what we did eat, most of it ended up in the bin as felt it was a bit inedible. Feel a bit gutted and wasted our money. However, the lady that served was very nice and lovely.

Waited 50 minutes for 2 bags of chips, won't be using them again 🙄

1 is being nice. Got there at 19.20 got food 20.50. All 5 of us from family. Had meals at different times so was cold by time we back. Will never use this place again.

Out of town eatery - take away or outdoor dining. Friendly and nice proprietor. Outdoor seating area. Generous portion size.

I hate to be negative but had the worst 'chippy tea' ever from there last night. The batter on the fish was ok on the outside but uncooked and slimy inside. The chips were awful. Hard and tasted like cardboard. I'm afraid most of the 'meal' went in the bin. Such a shame. The previous management produced the best fish and chips locally.

Awful inedible food and they use frozen pizza bases so may as well get one from supermarket which would be better and cost a third of the price

The food we had was nice, but I ordered a meal with chicken, and upon opening it, it had no chicken at all and Donner meat instead.

Ordered from here on Food Hub and we were pleasantly surprised. The kebab meat wasn’t greasy, the salad was fresh and the pizza was really delicious! Nice polite service both from the delivery guy and from the lady who called to check our location. We are very happy to have found this takeaway and we will be ordering again. Thanks you.

A 1 star review is being extremely kind! Food arrived after an hr and a half. Burger which cost £9.50 was drenched in tomato ketchup and inedible. The meal arrived without the drink ordered and without the extra salt and vinegar requested. Delivery drivers phone died, so had to borrow my neighbours. Shocking service from the get go! Will not be ordering from here again. I'm a disabled woman and rely on deliveries. I won't be making the same mistake again! Called the store to inform them of the missing drink, and the inedible food. Was passed on to the boss, who point blank refused the refund, and couldn't understand why I wouldn't want a replacement meal. I was passed between the boss and a staff member who tried to fob me off at every given opportunity. The boss is extremely rude, and obviously a very greedy, money orientated man.

Absolutely dreadful raw chicken battered sausage was soft and for the amount of grease was disgusting

Food wasn’t bad, would return but more from location convenience than impressed by the food. Prices about as you’d expect from a run of the mill takeaway.

Elite pizza & super friendly guys. Really good value considering its pretty much the only pizza place around for miles. Definately recommend!!!

Very disappointing...ordered food for collection tonight. When we got there the order had been mixed up so I got the wrong kebab completely. When we opened the food at home the kebabs were really poor. Just dry meat and bread, no salad at all, no sauce or anything. Apparently a new member of staff but a pretty poor takeaway all in all. Lovely staff and were extremely helpful when I phoned up regarding allergies. Proper chip shops chips and amazing fish. The kebab was great and the meat was seasoned to perfection

Ordered a portion of chips and chicken nuggets with a ‘tub’ of gravy. Chips were nice though the chicken nuggets were rather hard. Gravy cost £1.70 and came in this tiny tub filled half full. It hardly covered my chips. Bit disappointing as the gravy itself was nice. Would recommend charging at least half of this price if you continue to serve the same amount, or doubling the serving. I would say the same with the portion size of chips. Value for money could be better.

Great to have a local village takeaway which can be ordered online. Friendly service, no issues with the food, The donner meat is very good. The only thing I have noticed is that the portions are quite small even if you order a large I don't think there is any difference with a medium especially with the chips and isn't the right value for money.

Honestly, hate leaving bad reviews. But I got home, looked at my food and thought against eating it. Service was okay, bit slow, but okay.

This place got off to a rocky start but have started to come into their own. Wait times are down and fairly reasonable, food is well cooked and delicious, staff have been friendly, the owner gave our little one a lolly and free fruitshoot whilst we waited. If you've had a bad experience with them, give them a little more time and another chance, they're trying hard and I've seen huge improvements!

I've ordered a few times to try different dishes and all food was delicious. Would love to order online for delivery but currently not showing on FoodHub as advertised on menu. Also are you taking card payments now?

We specifically phoned to see if they did delivery as we know its been hit and miss.....they said yes, and then when we went to place order said no...too busy!! We could have collected earlier, they dismissed us and said have a great day!!! Just got back from hols with no food...lost customers.

If you like your fish and chips swimming in grease then this is the place for you ! Given that the fish is cooked fresh to order it was a surprise to find that the batter was soggy ! The chips were all different shapes and sizes and were soaked in grease. My partner had to use 3 sheets of kitchen roll to mop it up. Thankfully I had a Singapore chow Mein from the Chinese over the road. If you are ever in this area its beneficial to do the short drive into Aberystwyth to get lovely fish and chips...Cheaper too !

Fantastic hot food big portion size Really tasty food will definitely be coming back keep the good work up. Really friendly staff nothing to much trouble.

Absolutely amazing food, the chips and the pizzas were absolutely phenomenal. Pizza Marmaris isn’t like your regular takeaway or fish and chips, once I got in I was met with very friendly service from the bossman and others - one of a kind! Totally recommend Pizza Marmaris to anyone else who’s hungry for a chippy!

Food tasted pretty good, I had extra large mixed meat kebab and chips. Portion size was small considering being called xl with not many chips. Also lacking decent salad to accompany the meat. At £9.80 not great value for money. Was still hungry after finishing.

Gave this place a second chance after nearly 2 hour wait the first time .... wish we had stayed clear.... Placed my order with the lady over the phone for collection . 3 pizzas and 2 chips .( 30 mins be redy ) ok went up to collect waited a further 15 mins to get served to say im hear for collection . Asked for my food and got nothing as apparently they didn't have my order that I gave to the lady over the phone! she ither didn't do it or it got lost . Its a shambles this place. no organisation whatsoever. I left with nothing .Will not be returning ! Thanks for reply . But the wait wasn't the problem tonight it was the fact that the lady took my order over the phone and it was never made .

The shish kebab was excellent, as was the olive special pizza, which both smelled and tasted heavenly! Good prices and fast service too, definitely worth a visit

Chicken shish kebab was tasty and cooked fresh to order. Chips were not to my taste. I prefer French Fries with kebabs rather than the chip shop style chips available in this shop. All food cooked to order. Cash only.
