Awful. Chips overcooked, no salt and pepper seasoning. First and last time ordering

The order turned up over 1 hour late, the food was soggy & chewy because it had been left in the packaging , poor delivery service

The food was warm, not hot. The fried rice was dry and gloopy, there was very little curry sauce, the chips had been recooked and tasted awful, The Beef in Pineapple was very runny and did not come with any rice, The chicken chow mein tasteless

Asked to swap wings for shredded chicken or extra chicken ball’s in the box they did BUT I then got mountains of dry shredded chicken THREE chicken balls where as usually get around 6 and about 10 chips SHOCKING

Most of the food was great. The chips however are shocking, definitely reheated or kept warm for a long time. maybe as we ordered early these were yesterday's leftovers... would put me off ordering again.

I Don't recommend at all. I had two ordered, crispy chicken and Korean Beef. It was awful. Beef wasn't beef. It was any meat in the food. It was like dry bread, soaked in water and fried with flour. I'm not happy at all that. I Wasted my money. :/

Chicken satay terrible no taste what so ever

Food was bland to be honest. The Thai green curry had no flavour and had cherry tomatoes in which I’ve never had before. Partner said curry sauce tasted burnt.

Always a little slow with delivery but the food is always amazing ! Last week we got a half empty box but this week was filled and was so so good ! The noodles were bland very bland but apart from that was brilliant thankyou

took a little longer than normal probably extra busy with Halloween holidays food hot and plenty as always I recommend the salt and pepper dishes.

I ordered the chilli & cashew nut noodles which I've had about twenty times previously. But tonight it was far to spicy/hot/too many chillis to enjoy it. I coukd barely eat it.

Everything was good but do yourself a favour and avoid ordering the chips. They just taste like oven chips.

Although it was early I ordered spring roll with duck . There was no duck in them. Seaweed crispy? Not crispy at all very stale. And Singapore noodles they were ok. This cost a fortune and for what I ordered half the quality was not good. Sorry

Sweet and sour chicken was ok but duck and pineapple was completely tasteless and sauce was watery. Disappointed as food has always been great before.

Best salt and pepper ribs you will ever have.

Always amazing. My go to place and pretty much a standard order now. S and P ribs are better than anywhere.

Loved the ribs forever but the pad Thai is also brilliant. Loads of it and will easily do two of you with a started a piece.

Ordered several times always delicious food and usually on time but this time was late and thus cold. Also app was saying it had been delivered when it hadn't. warmed it through and lovely as always.

It’s a shame to see some people’s experience has resulted with negative reviews- mainly regarding orders/ delivery but I simply had to write this review because the food we had was exceptional. Our order and delivery were actually correct and on time, we will definitely be ordering again as the food was exceptional.

The schezwan sauce was way too spicy (and I love hot food). It was like a whole bottle of siracha sauce was in it. Couldn’t eat much. Salt and pepper chips were good though.

Missed two items off the order, didn’t deliver missing items until an hour and a half later and they weren’t even cooked properly all food was wasted as cold and greasy by the time the missing items were delivered . Terrible will never order from this restaurant again.

Not had chicken chow mein very often so can't really compare with other takeaways, seemed a bit bland, but the chips were terrible, frozen chips! very dry, what a letdown !!

Usual order from here, can be fantastic quality. Whilst not the cheapest Chinese its usually worth the extra money. Unfortunately the last two meals I've ordered have been poor.

Our last two orders from here have been really disappointing. We’ve ordered salt and pepper chips and both times they have been incredibly dry, so much so we couldn’t eat them. They were bland and cold too. Thought the first time might have been a one off but after tonight we won’t be ordering salt and pepper chips from here again. Probably the worst salt and pepper chips we’ve ever had.

I've been looking forward to trying U kitchen for a while, but was disappointed with the roast Duck and loaded fries. However the Singapore fried rice and salt and pepper chicken was tasty

Disappointed. Salt and pepper Chips were very poor, and the satay was bright yellow in colour.

The food was poor, very little sauce on the chilli beef, I asked for extra pre order. The soup was almost tasteless and in general food was not hot!

Very poor from U Kitchen tonight. Box was sweaty, chicken tasted rubbery and nothing was crispy in the salt and pepper box. U Kitchen is usually a place I rave about but tonight was a shock.

Meal was delivered cold, tasted like it had been pre cooked and kept in the fridge, had a bad taste to it, definitely wasn’t freshly cooked. Won’t be using again. Over priced and very poor for the price.

The food was cold, and barely edible the only things we ate was the egg fried rice and crackers.

We ordered at 20:41 and called the restaurant at 21:47 ( screen shot attached ) they where rude and kept saying “ it will be with you 20 mins” but I replied with you close in 10 minutes? And the horrible woman kept repeating the same thing. Then soon as I got off the phone it said the food was on its way, which is was not as it takes 7 minutes drive to get to us, yet we waited and no food came. If the restaurant had said they won’t be able to and just refund we wouldn’t have minded but no food came. They said they delivered it but clearly behind with the times because most people have door bells camera which I have provided to JustEat to show nobody came.

Ordered a mixed salt and pepper box and was sent a Chicken box not happy

The food tasted okay but it was very cold. This was probable due to the delay in delivery time

Excellent take away. I only do collection so cannot comment on delivery. Food is always cooked to perfection. I like variety, be it dim sum, sui mai, spring rolls, satay chicken skewers (my favourite), barbecue ribs, and very good teriyaki dishes too. My daughter likes the soups and the salt and pepper chicken box, n her boyfriend likes the crispy aromatic duck. We sometimes do the comfort food (chicken or beef in curry sauce with chips lol) which is good and fills you up when you just want to eat up. I rate the atmosphere 5 cuz the owners/staff are always happy and friendly and nice. Prices are average (actually slightly less than Manchester take away prices) so no issues there. Service as always for collecting is spot on ever time (use their app).

Great salt n pepper box, the curry sauce from here is exceptional, the best S&P seasoning around, by far

First time I've tried Phad Thai, was quite hot with the spices, had about 4 prawns in the noodles and I think the chicken was playing hide and seek tonight as I found very little in the meal, it wasn't a dish I would want to try again. The salt and pepper ribs were quite nice though.

A nice selection of fresh veg and meat in the main courses, but all dishes were a little light on the richness of flavour. A little watery.

Loved it. Our favourite Chinese takeaway. Everything here is so yummy.

Ignore the previous reviews. Me and my partner come here all the time for a Chinese salt and pepper box, and I can say that out of all the chineses I’ve tried in my area, this is by far the best I’ve tasted. It’s always so filling, taste wise is always great and never fails to disappoint I would 100% recommend to come here if your fancying a Chinese

We always order from here when we get a takeaway. It's always lovely tasty food, tried a few dishes and still can't choose a favourite as they're all nice.

The food was lovely, we ordered beef in Blackbean, noodles and rice. it all arrived piping hot. The delivery was quite late, however a text was sent informing us of this. overall the food was lovely though

Always delicious food, the crispy duck is amazing and the prawn toast is juicy with plenty of prawn. Everything arrives at a good temperature. Will always be choosing this place for my Chinese.

driver lost rang me 3 times for directions then expected me to walk half a mile down the road to collect the food from his car, absolute disgrace

We usually have a lovely Chinese when ordering from U Kitchen however today it arrived cold, the beef was chewy and the there was hardly any chicken in the salt and pepper chicken.

Ordered fried rice but got boiled

The food is usually really nice from here but was lukewarm tonight which was surprising as the delivery was half an hour early.

For the price compared to other places the quality is very low my girlfriend didn’t even eat hers the delivery driver nearly broke our door he knocked that hard won’t be going back

Ordered from here many times but the food tonight was awful... over cooked almost to burnt. Very disappointed to say the leasr. We couldn't even identify what was in the salt and pepper box..

Not good at all I'm sure all the menu isn't bad but the soup starter was flavoured water main dish not very good there is alot better for the money
