Skewers in Bolton

We ordered a doner kebab and double cheeseburger from one of the eat apps. The estimated delivery time kept changing and got later and later, very frustrating when the rest of the family were tucking into food that had arrived on time. It took well over an hour in the end which might have been ok given it was Good Friday, but the fact we kept getting messages saying it was coming, then it didn’t, then another message saying another 15 mins and so on, it was a farce. The doner kebab was just doner meat on chips, no bread. I’m half Turkish and know that a doner kebab comes with bread. The doner meat was pale and didn’t taste good. My cheeseburger was bland and the meat tasted cheap. The chips were good because I like soggy chips. The Oreo milkshake was very good. I called to ask for a refund, even if only partial, but was told no, the most they offered was a free milkshake next time. No good to us as there will not be a next time!!

So it didn’t help that uber eats didn’t turn up and we had to go and get the food but it was cold congealed and tasteless by time we ate. I would estimate it had been sat an hour or So by time we finally got it home. We had kebabs burgers and chicken wings, as well as sides of fires and haloumi cheese. All dreadful. The restaurant blames Uber eats and Uber eats is not interested in this. But it did refund the £2.50 charge that is made for the driver. Restaurant said that we would get full refund but not from them. Nice £50 down the drain.

I ll give 5* ratings, as the food is superb quality, tastes really good, the staff is very helpful, and my daughter loves their wings

Twins burger is one of my favourite cheese burgers in bolton, two meat patties and layered with cheese. I also add onion rings and caramelised onions inside which makes it a big burger but very enjoyable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
