What an amazing hidden gem this is. Really nice setting, very friendly staff and to die for cakes. I had a mini afternoon tea (very reasonably priced) which consisted of some freshly made cheese & chutney and ham & mustard finger sandwiches, possibly the best fresh scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream and a slice of blueberry bakewell cake yum yum - the scone was definitely the highlight. I also had a decafe mocha which was also exceptional- i look forward to visiting again with my sons who are both partial to a nice scone 😀.

We stopped for lunch before hitting the train up to Snowdon. Thinking we would just grab a sandwich and a cuppa, and then seeing the 1/2 afternoon Tea option for under £9 each! Well it would be rude not to. The cakes, scones are all homemade. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Just a perfect setup for an afternoon in the mountains. We will remember this cafe, and really to recommend it for a visit.

We came to Chloe's by chance as we were searching for somewhere to eat after getting the train up Mount Snowdon. This place was an absolute gem of a find! We brought our two young children and couldn't have been made more welcome. We ordered the mini afternoon tea which was fab. The cakes of the day were delicious (pear tart and a Welsh tea cake), as were the sandwiches and scones. Service was quick and there was plenty of jam and cream for the scones! A really lovely lunch, and we will definitely visit again next time we venture to this area.

We made a booking here for a afternoon tea work retirement party. When we arrived we were really impressed with how lovely the room looked! Chloe had definitely gone into a lot of effort with the sandwiches and cakes & every single one of us was impressed with the food and how it tasted! She would always check to see if we were ok and if we needed anything else! Thankyou very much! Gwenda said that she’d had a really good retirement afternoon tea and it’s all down to you!! Will deffo visit again!

This was a lovely find - an attractive garden but unfortunately the weather wasn't kind and so we ate inside. Lovely room and the cakes were absolutely delicious, wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you're in the area!

Found this place by chance, and enjoyed it so much went back the following day. The tea rooms are located within the Dolafon Guest House, in a very tastefully decorated classy room. The quality of the food and presentation was exemplary and very reasonably priced. An enjoyable experience.

Lovely period property. Gate / entrance on the high street near to mountain railway. Large lawned front garden with a few tables. The period property seems to be a b&b and possible family home. Smallish tea room but we chose to sit in the garden. Simple menu for lunch. A selection of panini sandwiches. Freshedly prepared and served with pot of tea and coffee. My wife spotted a nice selection of cakes but we opted to save ourselves for an ice cream later. Run by a young lady, who was polite, relaxed and pleasant. Entertainment and conversation by a lovely school child enjoying the last week or so of the holidays. A nice homely tea room with a quiet charm and relaxed atmosphere. All the hallmarks of a genuine family run business. If I were to return, I would visit again and also try the b&b.

When you come from Somerset/Devon you do not expect any cream tea to be better. IT WAS!! Well done Chloe and thanks to your family for great service. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea during the first week of our break mid August. When we visit snowdon again we will definitely be back!!

We were looking for a nice place to have afternoon tea while in Llanberis on the last day of our week long break with our family. Unfortunately, most of our group missed the fantastic scones and cakes with tea, as they went on an activity day. Those who did were quick to make sure they knew what they missed out on 😁. Highly recommended. Chloe's welcome was friendly and her baking skills are clearly well honed. Would come back next time we're anywhere near. Any diversion is well worth the journey!

My partner and I visit Llanberis several times a year. What a wonderful addition to our visits. Chloe is a superb hostess, warm and friendly and serves fantastic cake and scones . I would suggest that any visit to Llanberis would not be complete without popping into Ty Te Chloe to sample the lovely fare on offer and support this new venture.

Served by Chloe herself, what an amazing friendly and helpful place to stop for refreshment. Easily our favourite cafe from our whole trip. Delicious homemade cakes includes a gluten free option. Bypass all other cafes in village and come here.

My husband & I had planned to walk into the village centre to get some lunch when we stumbled across the tea room, seeing as I share my name with the owner we thought it was a good gamble. We were 100% right, we had paninis for lunch, he had the ham & cheese, I the mozzarella, pesto, tomato & chorizo. Both were delicious, however paled in comparison to the wonderful cakes that followed. I had the chocolate brownie that was served warm, lovely and chewy on the edges but soft and gooey on the inside. My husband had the raspberry Bakewell almond cake which was moist and so delicious. The girls we were served by, including Chloe were very pleasant and helpful. 100% recommend.

Possibly the best cream tea my wife and I have ever come across! Excellently presented, superb scones, cream and conserve, the latter in small airtight preserve jars...curls of butter, no foil wrappers, plenty of tea, and all in a lawned garden near the foot of Snowdon, on the road between the Mountain Railway and the town...they also do B&B; and meals. Brilliant! Such good value had to pay over the price...never done that before! A new venture and all the best for the future, Chloe!

The absolute best cakes I've ever tasted , they do a lovely little raspberry cake that to die for, the raspberry ripple ice cream is amazing, friendly staff, dogs allowed inside to which is a bonus for us, for me the coffee is just not hot enough but I do like my drinks boiling hot, and a larger coffee than the regular would be good too, the coffee itself it's one of the nicest I've tasted.

I've always had difficulty finding a good place for lunch (in Porthmadog) so Breaktimes (despite being on an industrial estate: glad I didn't let that put me off) was perfect: great food, friendly service, pricing good for nowadays and for the quality of the food. It's also licensed which is a real bonus after shopping in Porthmadog or coming here for a day out by train. We were also able to take our dog but I think we could only sit outside (?) so I'm glad it was a good day. Our waitress immediately brought her a bowl of water which was such a nice touch. Our food was excellent (Penang sweet potato curry for me, and a very good beefburger for husband). I've since told friends about/highly recommended Breaktimes and look forward to my next Porthmadog outing just for lunch 'out'!

This is such a great spot to grab a quick coffee whilst walking along the prom and soaking up the view. I managed to resist the cakes but they look awesome!
