Ty Cod in Gwynedd

Really disappointed with experience this evening. Bit gutted as we holiday in the area frequently and had been waiting for a chip shop to re-open nearby. Ordered for a family of 4, total spend £26.10. Unfortunately the large cod I ordered was missing and in its place was another portion of chips. Asked for mushy peas with the kids meal, but was given beans, and also no drink which should have been included in the kids meal. I also asked for salt and vinegar on everything but that was missing off everything too 😩 Would have been a 20min round trip to take back and get the order corrected. Probably should have done but it wasn’t really practical with 2 hungry kids.

Great food, fast service, reasonable priced, exactly what you want in a fish and chip shop. Huge queues which is a great thing, but the service was still fast.

This gem of a chip shop deserves every success. The people are so friendly and welcoming, the food is great and it is very reasonably priced. I do not understand the negative comments on here. The batter in particular was light, crisp and not at all greasy. Thank you for a lovely dinner
