First time I came here and had coffee and a scone, it was very nice. There is a choice of savouries, sweets, (which they do look nice), breakfast and things. The staff are very polite and pleasant, the seats are nicely spaced, the interior is clean and modern. The salt and pepper sellers shaped in peas in a pod and it looked quaint. I will definitely come back again.

What an absolutely beautiful place to eat. The decor is so wonderfully thought through with upcycled furniture, copper finishings and a bright atmosphere, the attention to detail is so exquisite that the pride and joy can be felt throughout. Then there is the service and food, quality of both that meet the high standards of the atmosphere, beautifully chic. To call Two Sweet Peas a cafe would not do it justice.

Our absolute favourite place to go for breakfast and even better that it's in our local village! Cheryl and Hannah are amazing. Their customer service is outstanding and always have time for us. The food is just gorgeous and very reasonable. Would highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed!

Visited with my mother in law on Saturday to sample their afternoon tea at a cost of £12.95 per person. The bistro has a lovely atmosphere; so welcoming and cosy and the staff really do go the extra mile and are all so pleasant. It was incredibly busy for the duration of out visit with people calling in constantly which was very nice to see. The service was very prompt and efficient and we were well attended to. The food was gorgeous. So filling and tasty. The savoury items were stunning and I simply loved the cheese, bacon and spring onion scone. Everything was nicely presented, appealing to the eye and fresh. Their menu is very extensive and everything looked lovely.

Noticed this place when dropping the wife off at her new job. Decided to drop in for a coffee. As soon as I opened the door the lady on the counter said "good morning, how are you today?" you don't often get that greeting anywhere, was so nice to hear it. I ordered a coffee and a chocolate orange scone. The coffee was lovely, perfect strength and not weak like it can be some places. But the scone....... Gorgeous.... I'll be coming up again and getting another one sometime soon. Another plus is that is a dog friendly. So any dog walkers etc, come along and see for yourself how good this place is

We called into this new sunday lunch venue as a group of five.We ordered starters, sunday lunches and sweets and must say they were beautiful. For starters we had a choice of three and opted for black pudding in peppercorn sauce and tomato and lentil soup with a stottie - both lovely.Main course was a choice of beef, pork or chicken.I had beef which was melt in the mouth and the accompanying veg were mash, turnip, york pudding, roasties and a seperate plate of roasted parsnips, roast carrots,peas/cabbage mix, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. All the veg was lovely with the only issue the roasties were slighly underdone but still nice. For puddings we ordered apple crumble, sticky toffee puddings and millionaires shortbread - all homemade and very nice.Three courses are 12.50 and well worth it.Service is given with a smile in a nice atmosphere.Would we be returning - MOST CERTAINLY - Top food and service.

Myself and my wife noticed this new place while on a walk with our dog and decided to give it a try instead of the pub. So glad we did, as we enjoyed a delightful lunch in a lovely place with a great atmosphere. I ordered a coffee and a ham and cheese panini and my wife went for the tuna cheese melt. Both arrived promptly, served by lovely staff. They were delicious! We looked at the cakes for a good while and struggled to choose as they all looked awesome - the eclairs are huge! I got homemade trifle which took me back to my youth. Simply a lovely experience, all the food we saw looked amazing. This place is a must visit if you're in the greater lumley area. Well done to the owners.

Have visited this new coffee shop a few times now and the food has been excellent each time. We have worked our way through everything from a full English, a bacon stottie, to cold sandwiches and cake. Bread has always been very fresh and fillings very tasty. Wow! wait until you see the size of the chocolate eclairs! The coffee is always very nice. Staff are very friendly, pleasant, attentive and enthusiastic about their new venture. The coffee shop is dog friendly. A few parking spaces directly outside. We would certainly recommend a visit

Noticed the opening of a new Cafe so decided to pay it a visit. Great place, good menu choice, something for everyone. We all had something different - soup & scone combo, pie with salad & coleslaw and peach melba cake. Struggle to pick a cake so we took away a piece of the delicious carrot cake as well. Very friendly staff & it is definitely worth finding this little gem. Noted a menu for a bistro night on a Saturday evening so lots of future plans in place. We will definitely return.
