The food was excellent and delicious especially the mixed grill the waitress Janine did a wonderful job serving she was very pleasant and hard working. Certainly will return again.

Ate here last night and wow fantastic from start to finish. Prices good, food was hot and very tasty and the staff all had smiles on their faces! Will be back soon for sure. Keep up the good work!

I use this place to pop in during my dog walks & sometimes for a swift couple after work. Always very welcoming & truly dog friendly. They have even gone out of their way to cook the dogs a couple of sausages. I haven’t eaten here as I generally don’t eat out however the food seems to be very popular at a very realistic price. 👍

Great prices for families and the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely come back again.

We went to two chimneys as it’s a local reliable place to eat with the family. This visit exceeded expectations thanks to the lovely Daniel. He made our day by spoiling our daughter with sweets and the lucky dip. She had a lot of fun. He’ll never know how sweet that was as we’d been having a rough time as a family due to illness and we were there just to not have to cook. Thanks for making it a fun visit Daniel

We had a function with 20 guest’s and everyone loved their food and drinks. The menu is excellent and cooked to perfection. The staff friendly and always on hand. Would highly recommend. A special thanks to Daniel & Nicky

Went today and I had the mushroom and gravy pie, horrible ,when I asked lovely waitress why no meat pies was told you can order them online, I had no signal on phone but she said “ we have got wi fi” it’s got to be better to have working wi fi. I couldn’t eat my meal and when she asked if she could get me anything else, I said yes a bin to put this horrible food in, I bet the bin would have refused it

Lovely food, new menu looks very tempting. Clear signage throughout the pub. Warm welcome and conversation at the bar (rare these days!). We moved tables and it wasn't an issue whatsoever. The waitress who served us we recognised from coming before as she has an extremely polite, friendly manner and was happy to assist us. Food is good quality(we had the lamb kofta wraps) and a very reasonable price. Music is appropriate and just in the background-which creates a very calm vibe. Looking forward to returning Returned again a couple weeks later and was served by the lovely Lilly-Mai. Very polite, friendly and helpful. Good luck in your new role

Decided to have lunch in the spur of the moment, and so glad we did! Took advantage of the Friday Burger BOGOF deal and sat in the garden to take advantage of the sunshine. Delicious burgers, quick and friendly service, always a great idea!

Quite possibly the worst meal I have ever eaten. Powdered mash potato, run out of carrots, chicken and coleslaw. Also they did not have a chainsaw for us to use to cut the steak, so had to leave it. On a positive the parking is free.

Just a big Well done to Daniel and Team for making us so welcome 31 July . Our first time to the Pub was on our way to Lavender Fields stopped off for a Beer in the Sun . Such an upbeat guy was a pleasure to sit in the garden listening to his plans for the pub and his positive energy was amazing. Thank you Jane and John

A really lovely lunchtime visit! We sat in the garden and ordered through the app. The service was very prompt, smiley and welcoming. The food was delicious, piping hot and really well presented! We had intended to only have a little lunchtime bite, but stayed to enjoy a portion of the Millionaires Cheesecakes and some more drinks. I highly recommend a visit. I’ll be back to try all of the other dishes on the menu!

My sister and I and 93 year old father stopped early yesterday for coffee and were delighted by the friendly welcome by staff. We were shown a lovely table overlooking the window and given menus. We looked through the extensive interesting menu which had something for everyone whilst enjoying the delicious coffee. I had Earl Grey Tea because I ‘m dairy intolerant. I approached staff about my dietary requirements and they were very helpful. I chose Salmon Sizzler, which came with a choice of two sides and dips. It was a lovely hot day so a fresh green salad and Jacket potato were perfect accompaniments to a perfect salmon fillet. Dad treated us to our meal and drinks and he loved a perfect pint of beer! A lovely lunch well priced too. The restaurant area filled up but there was plenty of space and a relaxed pleasant family atmosphere.

Very disappointing. Waited nearly an hour for food and when it came was virtually inedible. Won't be going again.

Service and food always amazing we’ve been coming here for years with my dad and brothers , couldn’t fault anything about this place. Would recommend to everyone in the area. Manager Daniel always goes out of his way to make everyone happy as well! Thanks guys❤️

My wife and here go regularly for drinks and sometimes food. Always plenty of parking and seating. The staff are very friendly and the manager is a really wonderful person. Very chatty and has plenty of time for you.

Been to this pub several times on my holiday in England and must say the food is always enjoyable and the staff are very friendly. Food is always hot, drinks are always cold! Can't beat the price of the deals either. This American loves it! Stanway is the best!

Staff very friendly went for father's day meal booked a table as it was very busy starters came our fast very hot waited a while for our mains but again it was busy again food was very nice and hot. Staff went out off their way to seat us in a quite area as I have ptsd and anxiety always checking with us if everything was OK

Wanted to give you some feedback on a meal we ordered 09.06.2024. Four meals in total. Two were roast dinners (1 was large). The food was dreadful. The roast potatoes were re-heated, not fresh. The mash was smash, too concentrated no butter or milk added. The veg was solid. Not al dente in the slightest, but solid. The 2 balls of stuffing resembled gold balls in hardness, and the beef whist it looked nice was ridiculously tough. We had to use steak knives to cut through it, it was not a roast joint, but a braising only cut.It was a very very disappointing experience.

Booked as it was a birthday meal, when we arrived told almost no food available at 18:00 on a Sunday. A decent place would have let us know in advance.

I asked to have my water bottle filled with coke and they said yes so I'm very pleased about that as it's very kind service, it was very chill and relaxed atmosphere. And the food very nice I am very impressed overall, definitely come again

Terrible service. Waited over an hour for food and then they missed a meal completely. Food was cold, ended up getting a refund for half of it. Avoid

First impression once sat down ,Tables sticky -Not cleaned properly - fabric on chairs Filthy black! Bar staff not attentive - unaware when customers need serving - Too busy faffing around doing nothing . Service for food arrived in good time piping hot . Food meat dry /over cooked ,no flavour, very cheap ingredients used ! Veg overcooked and tasteless ! Sauces no real flavour. It was actually revolting . Sack your chef and buy fresh quality products your loosing customers . I used to love the flavors and food before new owners took over. Like a ghost town in there Speaks volumes. No I do not want to discuss with manager aka chef as after reading months of reviews nothing has changed. Food still poor quality and over cooked . Turns my stomache just thinking about it. I wont be going back Ever !

Very disappointing! Ordered 2 pimms that came with out any fruit. Ordered 2 more and after we paid was informed they had run out. Long 35 min wait for the food we ordered that when it did arrive it was barely warm, I asked for it to be warmed up and my plate was taken to the kitchen return about a min later still not hot enough to eat. We were offered free dessert and re fund for the cold meal I didn’t eat, and the pimms they didn’t have. Still very unlikely to eat there again.

Unfortunately the food is just microwaved. Half of it cold and the other is luke warm. The veggie alternative looks like meat as well which is incredibly off putting, I had to scrape the top bit off as it looked like animal intensines... Drinks hardly have any alcohol in them either. Servers did check on us but was not overally attentive. We heard customers all around complaining that they're paying £15 for microwave meals. Very disappointing and unfortunately it is not the first time we have been disappointed. Also most of their exciting new summer options were out of stock.

I had an amazing time on Wednesday, as I attended the curry night with my friends. decided to pay an additional few pounds for an upgrade, and it was worth every penny. The meal was great good company and the staff were friendly and helpful

So disappointed, we've been here before and had amazing service but not today. After an hour our 'food' arrived, the steak had basically been placed in a microwave so that it was sizzling on the outside and still mooing on the inside! We were able to have any desert we wanted so long as we didn't want Ice-cream. I spoke to a manager who said it was because we have had some nice weather they have ran out of everything? Last time we were able to use a blue light discount but this time that wasn't allowed? All in all not something we will be repeating again

What you expect from a hungry house.

Called in for evening meal the pub was busy but we got served promptly . The staff were all very friendly especially Leah and Nicky who went out of their way to make us feel welcome . We didn’t have long to wait for our food which was hot and tasty and reasonably priced . We enjoyed our visit and will be sure to return .

Went to the Two Chimneys for my daughters 21 st , excellent service , there was 17 of us and we where well looked after , many thanks to Nicky Rebecca and Cerrie Logan and Amelia for your hard work .

Great value for money. Nice traditional pub with outstanding service. The manager Daniel made us feel very welcome, and the waitresses serving food looked after us all very well. Recommended for families.

some customers were very rude to the staff but they were still so lovely when serving and the food was delicious! so much choice on the menu and cooked to perfection! Daniel was so friendly and chatty and Dan cooked the food amazingly - will definitely be back soon :)

Thank you Dan (Chef) for an absolutely lovely Medium Rare, definitely the best Ive had in a while. And from what I’ve heard smashing service on a one parr!! And Daniel the deputy manager for smashing the bar (despite some rude customers). My partner and I had a really lovely experience here and will definitely be back.

Ive eaten here many times over the years… Today has got to be the best meal I’ve had. My friends meal looked appetising, she had fish and chips and I had scampi' and chips. Both came out looking fresh and hot… Whatever your doing please keep it up 👍

I came with my daughter for mother's day. Food was awful. It was luke warm at best, the carrots were frozen and tasted like they'd been dunked in perfume before being served. The mash came out of a packet rather than actual mash and the plenty of gravy that was advertised on the menu was far from plenty (I had to ask for more). The only thing really that was edible and enjoyed was the millionaires cheesecake. It seems the pub has had a face-lift in recent times, sadly, the food hasn't. On a positive note, front of house staff and waitresses were very polite.

Steak was cooked correctly but was tough as old boots! When I explained to waitress the reply was "yeah this sometimes does happen " I ate the chips and peas and chewed some of the leather but left it on the plate.. never return ...

Looked dead in here for a Thursday night. After a long days work i fancied a grub. I’m Greek and im picky with food. 13 quid for a crown burger????? Nothing was fresh!!!!!!!!!!! All frozen. Disgusting and would not recommend

The Two Chimneys, Letchworth. Wife had Chicken Masala & Rice. Masala was very salty and rice was crunchy (Not properly cooked). Took meal back and got a refund. I had half Chicken with chips & Salad. Chicken small and over cooked, Salad covered in some sort of oil. Not nice, Couldn't eat it. Don't think we will be eating there again.

I called in the week and booked a table for a party of nine. as the app said there were no tables available. The man who took my call advised that over a certain number in the party can’t be booked online but over the phone was fine. So all booked for 1300. When we arrived, the booking had been written for a table of seven. The lady behind the bar was most helpful and asked a member of staff to find a space for nine and rearrange some tables for us. All done in no time at all. We were advised we could order our food at the bar or on the app and so we did some on each just for ease. Orders through the app were quickest as the queue for the till was quite long. One roast dinner was a little cool for my aunt but the waitress was very accommodating and popped it back to the kitchen for a reheat. ( as requested by my aunt) however she had offered a whole new meal to be supplied but my aunt was quite happy with the rest being heated through. Altogether a very pleasant experience and everyone cleared their plates.

Food was fairly poor at my last visit, from how it seemed, I weren’t alone in the disappointment. Ordered the salmon sizzler, veg looked very unappealing and salmon was so over cooked and dry it was inedible. I’m not one to complain usually, but I did to the waitress when asked how my food is. Unsure of her name, but was lovely. Offered a free dessert as compensation. Would return again.

Tried to eat here tonight. After queuing behind a customer with a large order I eventually got served only to be told there was no gammon. I then had to go back to my table to make new choices. I returned to the counter to find I had to rejoin the queue. We left without eating very annoyed. We have visited this establishment many times over the years but we will never return again.
