Good food. Good Beer. Comfortable interior. Peaceful location. One of my regular places to meet friends for lunch.

We had a very comfortable en suite room and an excellent breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, although we were attending a wedding and had a set menu served to about 100 guests. Our stay was only spoilt by the weather and our neighbouring room extractor fan being on all night.

Fantastic real old English pub feel with big cosy leather sofas, stone walls and fireplaces. We didn't stay the night so can't rate the rooms, but we popped in for a pint and crisps after a walk on the moors and it was lovely and welcoming! Plus a lovely lady went above and beyond to find us a piece of brownie that we saw on first entering but had been put away subsequently for dinner service when we decided we'd like a piece.. It was delicious as well! Thank you 😁!

Popped in today for first time since staying here nearly 40 years ago! Received the warmest of welcomes from the lovely lady on reception, enjoyed drinks, a cake and a delicious warm scone served with generous amounts of jam and cream in a really comfortable settling. Only live an hour or so away now so will be back

Only stopped by for cake and a cream tea with the family... Alas neither are available after 6pm as "Dinner is the only thing being served". Hey ho... nice location!

Such a wonderful stay at two bridges, had the lovely signature 4 course menu for dinner and a great breakfast! All waiting staff were exceptional, and The lovely brunette receptionist was amazing (think her name was Katie) made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived!

Unfortunately the rooms are overpriced and under maintained. We came for our ten year anniversary as we got married here but standards have fallen. The room wasn't very clean with a lot of dust everywhere and the bathroom was really quite dirty. They also use a lot of single use plastics and do not use local produce. Mass produced jams from Essex and single use soaps in plastic wrappers don't shout 'Environmentally friendly' and don't fit to the surrounds on Dartmoor. Without investment and more effort in cleaning and maintenance this place won't survive the next generation of visitors who will expect walls to have paint on, kettles not to be full of limescale, bathroom floors to be clean and taps not to be mouldy.

Nicely located hotel, we've only been there because of the 2 bridges, but it looks cozy.

We only stopped for lunch, but in the short time we were here it was lovely. We sat outside and had lunch, which arrived quickly and tasted amazing. The staff were very professional and friendly, especially the waiter who brought our dog some surprise biscuits!

Briefly went in before camping. Very nice interior. Absolutely adore the Silly Gooses around (statues are a great touch). Amazing hiking and camping places situated around Thanks for letting us get picked up from your car park even though the signs say "customers only" :)

Lovely welcome and service, as always. Special thanks to the Manager, Tom, Annie and all of the very attentive staff who went over and above to make sure that my mum and her partner were looked after today. They were both impressed and appreciative and felt very at home. They have already planned a return visit.

Just spent a couple of nights here for my wedding. Every single room we booked, every bite to eat from our buffet and especially every member of staff were absolutely top class. Extra big thanks to Ellen our planner and Tom who never seemed to go home. Thank you ALL SO MUCH for making our event even more amazing 👏

Two Bridges Hotel is great little stop almost in the middle of Dartmoor. I didn't stay there I just stopped for a mid-week cream tea and a beer - delicious. The resteraunt is really rustic and the food was excellent, perfect place for a post-hike refresh. The hotel has 32 rooms, strangely didn't seem big enough, and was apparently Vivien Leigh's favorite place to stay.

Stopped off for an afternoon cream tea! Was amazing but quite pricey for a scone, jam, cream and a pot of tea. £8 per cream tea just seemed a little high but I very much enjoyed it. Pub is quaint and beautifully decorated with old collectables.

Onion rings were perfect. Chips were disappointing - not soft in the middle or crispy on the outside. Beautiful location though.

We went here to celebrate a friends special birthday and had cream tea for 7 people. The scones were so light and fluffy, large, and had a huge amount of jam with clotted cream supplied. Had a cafetiere of coffee, one was faulty and poured coffee grounds our in the cup, but no hesitation on replacing it quickly. I would highly recommend coming here, such a beautiful location.

Lunch today, on a cold, windy, misty, wet Dartmoor. Excellent welcome seems to warm us up, Free parking, disabled badge spaces, and a stunning location. The most lovely staff, the most comfortable lounge, wide menu choices. Service is superb, food well presented. We had just the very best time together here and I love coming here. A sincere thank you to all working here for making our short stay so good. We will be back again soon. 💞✌️

Circumstances made me a lone visitor in the early evening and as, for most of the time, I was the only one there I cannot offer comments about atmosphere or speed of service at busy times, though my meal came quickly. Excellent food, though I felt it was expensive.

Left 24.11.24 in the morning found we had a puncture. Your receptionist and one of the chefs attempted to assist and change the wheel. Most impressed by their commitment and courteousness, highly commended. Rooms a bit tired, no curtain in bathroom and windows rattling. It was windy! Food amazing and menu very interesting.
