We were doing a treasure trail around Tiverton but decided to have a coffee break to avoid the rain. The dog was welcome as were the kids who loved the chocolate cake and flapjacks. Husband keeps going on about how his flat white was the Best coffee he's ever had. And he drinks a LOT of coffee. It was lovely. Thank you.

There were 4 of us driving back up north and decided to visit here for some breakfast. The decor is rustic and beautiful, we were welcomed by two young men who were cleaning everywhere due to covid. We were sat at a table and our orders were taken...we were told the chaps mum was off today so he was making up our food...which made us laugh😁 We opted for sandwiches and croisants. It arrived on lovely wooden plates and we had a chat...he was the friendliest nicest man.....great customer service and nothing was too much trouble. We all really liked it here and when we are next in the area we will go back.

We really like the coffee in Two Birds, and we recently ordered one of their lovely cakes for home delivery. I also buy their coffee beans for use at home. The interior is nice and the staff friendly. Fantastic independent coffee shop in Tiverton, well worth a try. Whilst we’re all in lockdown they’re selling their cakes and coffee beans online.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this quirky cafe. We both went for the sourdough sandwich of salami, mozzarella and sundried tomato with garlic mayonnaise and a side salad. We also had two delicious lattes. All for around £16. Very nice. The cakes also looked to die for.

Situated just across the bridge over the Exe in this quaint old town, which has a wonderful church and castle. It was cold though and the café looked welcoming with a shabby chic/ retro/ distressed décor with modern furniture and sheepskin throws. You enter through another charming shop selling unusual decorative household items. Nice friendly welcome and great coffee and superb teacakes brought to our table at reasonable prices. The cakes looked amazing and the owner obviously does tempting homemade light lunches and snacks. Would definitely return the next time we are in Tiverton. Cute courtyard at the back leading to the lovely clean loo complete even with hand cream....very nice.

Stumbled across the two birds earlier this week while on holiday and it was so good we came back today for a spot of brunch. Great cheese scones and savoury butter and the avocado on sourdough was lovely. Coffees were great too, nice smooth latte. Pity this place is so far from home or we would be regulars.

My friend and I visited last month as we were passing, the decor looked modern and inviting so we thought we'd have a coffee and cake. Unfortunately we were both left disappointed, my friend's carrot cake was very dry and my scone was still partially frozen on the inside. We didn't feel like the owners were welcoming or approachable so we left without commenting. The coffee was too weak for my taste so I wouldn't revisit but the sandwiches did look nice.

Excellent coffee served in clean, compact surroundings with an industrial-chic style. Slightly out of the centre, but very much worth the extra yards. We had cakes; Victoria sponge (lovely and light but not very buttery) and blackcurrant and white chocolate flapjack (very moist, slightly over-sweet for me). Flat white coffees were super; strong but not bitter; the best we’ve had in Tiverton (and we’ve had a few!). The lady owner was very enthusiastic and welcoming, we will definitely return. Next trip we will try the lunches and report back.

We are locals so tried this new place. It is nice and trendy inside with a selection of home made cakes and cookies. For us the coffee could have been stronger but it was good to have oat milk option. On the quiet side of the town but easy to walk over the bridge.

From the moment you step into Two Birds you feel at ease. Contemporary decor, great coffee and delicious food. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Another much needed independent retailer, recommended.

This is a real gem in Dorchester. We love the coffee best in the area. The food is always excellent. The staff are very good always very helpful and service with a smile. Lovely place to meet up with friends and enjoy the lovely open space. Not sure why they were closed today Friday 5th August, but did hear that it might be closed for a while due to on going dispute. Be a real shame if it does close as it was a good find with excellent coffee.

Sunday roast wasn't great unfortunately. The beef was exceptionally chewy and when mentioned to the waiter the reply was something along the lines of "yes we know". Also the veg consisted of swede, carrot and cabbage which was quite uninspiring. Would expect more for £18.

We came here after a long Autumn walk with our dog, it was so lovely and warm next to the log fire and we had one of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. It's not just an average pub roast, everything on the plate was incredible!
