I tried this place. It was a good experience but I dont think I will try this place again. It was pricey compared to what they offer. It was about 7£. But the staff was friendly overall.

Found this place on groupon for a doughnut cone & ice cream! Thought I’d give it a go as something new & never tried before. The doughnut cone was really nice although I thought it would be warm but still enjoyable. There’s also seating inside which is good and service was good too.

I purchased the groupon deal of a hot dog and milkshake because I thought it sounded a bit different and would appeal to my teenage daughters before we went to watch a matinee west end show. It was tucked away in a small square away from the hustle and bustle of central London but close to the west end so perfect location. Small inside but quick service and the hot dog chimney roll was made freshly so it was yummy and quirky if you’ve never tried the Hungarian snack. The milkshake was delicious too. The ice creams they sell looked very tempting but we were too full to sample one!

Dulce y salado. Delicioso.

Visited the place twice. The savoury option was really good. Unfortunately chimney cake is not hot and freshly baked, as it's traditionally served.Instead was cold and dry. Also the preparation area needs some improvement.

A little food stop (with seating available) making freshly made baked chimney cakes in various combinations. Some options they serve: 1.) Cone-shaped chimney cake to put ice cream in (They have a bunch of really enticing sounding options including a pistachio chimney-cake-cone with chocolate soft-serve ice cream, or a tiramisu one, or a ferrero rocher one) 2.) (slightly larger) Cylinder-shaped chimney cake, which you can have in a few different ways, including having it rolled in cinnamon sugar, in raspberry bits, in nuts, in shredded coconut or in savoury cheese and herbs. You can get extra sauces on the side like nutella, peanut butter or honey. Things to consider: Because they are freshly made, we did have to wait what felt like quite a while for them to be ready, and even then our cinnamon sugar one came out pretty underbaked & doughy on the inside, though it was nice and crisp on the outside. For anyone who orders ice cream in theirs they have to wait even longer because they have to wait for the cone to cool. Overall: We had the cylinder / large classic chimney cake rolled in cinnamon sugar. The taste was really lovely! And how nice to have it warm and fresh! Just a shame the texture was undercooked and doughy on the inside which made it sit a little heavy in my stomach. We also found that the cylinder-shaped cake was harder to pull apart and unravel than the cone one - it kinda baked into one piece with no tear-marks. Points for improvement: - Make sure cakes are fully baked before serving - Make a clearer waiting area post-ordering (maybe one where customers can watch the things being made) - More attention on table-clearing & cleaning - Better toilets: The toilet was surprisingly grimy and old-looking for a place that just opened a few days ago.

My goodness! What delicious food! It's been a long while since I've been able to enjoy authentic German food, and this was amazing! My husband and I both had the Thürlinger sausages (his with sauerkraut and mine with potatoes). Phenomenal! I loved the potatoes, but his sauerkraut was so delicious, I was sad I hadn't chosen that instead. The yellow mustard is some of the best we've ever had (and we love mustard). Absolutely delicious food and a nice establishment. If we're ever in London again, we'll be sure to stop in again!

Is this venue permanently closed? I went along on Wednesday 19th June 2024 at about 14:30. The shutters were down . Went back four hours later, it was the same story. If it is now closed, could the website be updated please to inform people about this? The website gives the impression it is a going concern and you can make bookings. Am annoyed at making a wasted journey.

Just back to our hotel near Trafalgar Square from the wonderful Schnitzel Heaven up in Hackney (about 2.6 miles away). It was farther afield than most of our restaurants, but would have been worth a much longer detour. My wife had a fried mozzarella appetizer--delicious, in a spicy cranberry-based sauce (that put the usual fried cheese with marinara in the shade)--followed by a chicken schnitzel with a side of beautiful, chunky French fries. My Weiner schnitzel, which came with two condiments and a spicy potato salad, was superb. We were both delighted with the fare, which equaled or surpassed what we expected from all the five-star reviews. In addition, service was warm and attentive, highlighted by a friendly reception and check-ins from the ebullient proprietor. The place is small, informal, and obviously very popular with locals, as evidenced by the steady stream of bicycle delivery people taking off with insulated saddlebags and backpacks full of take-out orders. As noted in reviews, the thinly-pressed schnitzels are not only perfectly prepared but huge, barely contained by the large plates on which they are served. My only regret was having no room whatsoever to sample the apple strudel. Prices are almost outrageously reasonable, so quality and value both hit the top of the scale. We could not recommend this place more highly!
