Preferred the previous location, but still a nice vibe, especially on Thursdays - obviously - you get to go crazy with the best Oompah band in London! Had a cheese and ham schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious.

Fun place. Good food and steins!

Great German style food and our server Amy was amazing she recommended lovely Apple cocktail and even taught us some German!

Bouncers good walking around but they have to realize we are there and that's what pays their salary. You are allowed to smile and still do your job else it always feels like you have to walk on egg shells, caught one or 2 nodding off upstairs. Drinks take a little long at times but vibe is good and bar Staff great nobody just standing around. Beer snacks are great wouldn't recommend the pork knuckle, music and atmosphere created are amazing.

Bobbed in for a bit this afternoon. Greeted by a lovely waitress -can't remember her name just that she had a funny northern accent - who seated me. Ordered the apple straddle cocktail - highly recommend! - and the vegan curry wurst (quite spicy but luckily the northern waitress saw my spicy receptors struggling so she got me some mayo). Absolute life saver. The managers were really lovely - especially Aleks who served me my drinks. Very lovely and sunny disposition. Can't wait to head back.

Fun little slice of Germany in central London. Wide section of drinks and very good food. Live music on Thursday and Saturday night! The decor is great. I think I will become a regular!

We went as a group of 8.We started at around 2.30 and it was quite quiet. It soon livened up and was pretty much packed by 8pm. I would recommend booking or you might be dissapointed. The staff were very good and the drinks and food was spot on. Thanks very much.

Stopped for lunch after visiting Westminster Best 9 £ lunch!. Service was excellent and the restaurant was CLEAN including the washrooms. Really enjoyed ourselves.

The Sausage Tuesday deal is really good value for price - both Currywurst and beer were quiet nice, and Dan’s service was really fantastic.

We went on a Tuesday when train strike was on so very quiet and difficult to judge what atmosphere could be like on a busy day. Beer available by the pint or full stein with a good selection of German regional beers. We also are some food which was the expected German beer hall fare which was tasty. Would go back again hopefully when trains are running and get a fuller atmosphere.

Had a really great time here. Conrad gave some really great drink recommendations and really friendly service. Would definitely recommend

I have been going to the Victoria MCC with friends for some time, usually on a Saturday lunchtime when it’s less busy than evenings. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food authentically German and very well cooked. German language is not in evidence, apart from the menu, but typical German music plays, and on certain evenings, live music sets the tone. I particularly like their draught Munich Paulaner pilsner. Altogether, for those who like the German atmosphere and cuisine, the MCC is worth a visit.

Food is nice, not amazing but nice. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Venue is nice and roomy and imagine this is a fun place to go for an evening drinking session.

This was a fantastic find in the neighborhood of Westminster Abbey. We were drawn in by the sign on the sidewalk advertising a £9 lunch special. The food was delicious!! Amy was our server and she was so polite and anticipated our every need. We were still talking about how much we enjoyed our lunch several days later!

I want give 10/10 for this amazing place the staff and bar staff are top they are so polite and helpful but one member of staff makes this place amazing and what it is 10/10 Amy served us when we visited business meeting and honestly we will come again us our experience was amazing because of her

Really good atmosphere and the music is German but surprisingly good. Plates are definitely a good size for your money. A Caesar salad could feed 2 for under £15 Really good community vibe Staff were very friendly and the German stocking outfits were definitely a plus one to this place. 5/5 great, attentive service, would definitely come again

First time for bratwurst and sauerkraut, thoroughly enjoyable. Took advantage of their Sausage and a Pint for £10 on Tuesdays, will be a repeat customer for sure. Seated and served by the lovely Amy, did an excellent job!

I would love to give this place 10/10. The reason is because the place is so nice , the staff is friendly , the food is out of this world and again the staff are unbeatable specially Dan, Jen they are so friendly kind and always making sure you are comfortable and they are the ones that make this place amazing.

Excellent place for a lovely Christmas party!

Second one of these places I've been too, and now the last. My pork knuckle that came had soggy flabby skin, no crackle at all. The inside of the joint was ice cold. Obviously reheat these too order, which I understand, but to serve it in this condition is criminal. Had to leave most of it(see photo)My partners vegan bratwurst also wasn't very well cooked. Definitely in top 5 worse meals of 2023.

Food was pretty good. Beer was good. Service was okay.

Food cold, some staff OK but others not helpful, looked like they didn't want to be there. Know how they felt. Apparently the one in Canary Wharf is excellent.

Went on a weekend. Service was very poor. They forgot our drinks until Reminded. Food was good. Drinks were good but the glass was dirty. Toilets were good, clean. You did need to go down stairs to enter the restaurant so be aware if you have reduced mobility.

The food was bland and cold. Took forever between meals.

Really good place for a work do. The food platter is delicious, plenty of German sausages, pretzels and chips. Vast array of German beer on tap. The best is the band playing cult classics.

The sign says outside says “welcome” but apparently if you do t have a booking on Thursday you can’t even come in for a beer. I was turned away at the door when I said I want to come in and have a drink. “Maybe tomorrow” he said. No thank you

Stopped off here in a large group on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and we were able to find a table. I would imagine they get very busy in the evenings though so would definitely recommend booking a table.

It's busy, it's overpriced, the drinks aren't great but every time I come, it's great company. Only come if you're part of a big group - it's a bit awkward otherwise.

Had a great night. Good beer, Steins were NOT ridiculously expensive. Traditional food was great, huge pretzels were perfect to munch on whilst swigging from giant glasses. The Umpah bang were ace, playing their own versions of classic rock and current pop. A great night.

Visited the Victoria branch on 20/10/23 in the afternoon can't remember the last time I've received worse service, I've visited this branch on and off since before it moved locations and the service gets steadily poorer every time, the member of staff who served us spoke about three words not entirely sure what language they were in , the food was ok but not really worth the money, I'll definitely not be visiting this location again, shame it used to be good.

Had the most amazing Octoberfest!! This event is so highly recommended, there was 10 people in our booking - all staff were friendly, fast service & created a great atmosphere! The music and band were the best. All thanks to Aleksandra & Flourin for looking after us the whole night, great managers!!

Quite a good 1st Oktoberfest experience here.

I went for the business lunch deal at the London Victoria venue. The chicken schnitzel was delicious and it was a large portion with a very nice salad. However they could pay attention to some details; this a German themed restaurant, mustard is a basic item and in Germany it is often well-paired with any German dish so to not offer mustard was rather disappointing. Also, I am aware this is a beer hall but there are often non-drinkers who accompany their friends to the venue, and for the 'business lunch' the management should consider a non-alcoholic alternative to the schnapps. If a diet coke was offered as an alternative I would be more likely to return as I really liked the venue and the waitress was perfectly pleasant.

This event was booked only a week in advance, we had an amazing table, the bar and floor staff were so lovely. Totally recommend!! the vibe was great as the band were very skilful! Hands down one of the best Oktoberfest's we have ever been to all thanks to Aleksandra and Florin!!

Great night! Went for the first time last night and it was such a vibe. The food was amazing, great live music and the staff were so much fun. Really made the atmosphere! Shout out to their manager Alex who got us all dancing in the tables. 100% recommended, defiantly will be going again!

The bar staff were great, didn’t wait long for drinks. Thank you to the managers for taking care of our booking. All staff were lovely. Will come back!

Really good night in here. The service is excellent with very friendly waitresses. Food was excellent and it was very difficult to choose what to have as the menu was full of good selections. Atmosphere brilliant with a live umpa band playing through the evening.

A good Oktoberfest night. Food good, service was okay and band were fine. Good fun overall but would not return.

The band was good but one of the musicians opened the valve of his instrument that released all the saliva that collected inside the instrument and it landed on my friend’s forehead. That kinda ruined the night for us.

This is as good as you’ll get for a German restaurant in UK. Draft Munich beers and genuine German food. It’s a lively venue late in the day but quieter at lunchtime. Service is prompt and food is delicious. Thoroughly recommended if only to try out.

Very mediocre experience overall. The only authentic German thing in there were beers and pretzels. The staff is very young, inexperienced, and struggled to service our group (they tried, though had some attitude). Über loud music (generic 80s and 90s radio) didn't help, and it was very hard to hold a conversation with anyone at the table or even order food or drinks. Food overpriced for what it really was - plates and trays full of chips with slabs of unseasoned meat and sausage tossed on them. It is better suitet for after-work beers and bites for under 10 ppl, not for a sit-down dinner.

Impressed isn’t enough!! We had problems booking for a large group online for a work Night out. We couldn’t get anything confirmed or sorted so had to leave it. Even after this disappoint we still thought we’d give the Victoria MCC a go on passing after previous experience of the service here. Once again we weren’t disappointed….. Johnathan went above and beyond and made us welcome. We enjoyed the food and beer and had one of the best work nights we’ve had in many a year. He recommended coming next time on a Thursday through Saturday to enjoy the oompah band !!. Can’t wait for our Christmas do !!! Thanks Johnathan and your team. Vielen Dank!!

Liked the crispy roasted pork knuckle and the pretzel. Just remember you are in "Biergarden"...well, sort off. It can and will get crowded and loud. Service was prompt and very nice. We had fun and enjoyed a variety of beers with a hearty meal.

Fantastic place. This was my second visit.The first time I went was a while back on a Saturday night, it was very very busy. They had a live oompah band on which was very entertaining. The second time we went on a Monday lunch time, just as it opened, it was obviously alot quieter. The food is interesting, tasty and obviously German themed. Love the large stein glasses. The staff are amazing, especially Amy, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend a visit here.

Very nice staff, great beers, good food!

Leider als Österreicher sehr enttäuscht. Das Wiener Schnitzel war kein wirkliches Schnitzel. Im Bierkeller zu Disco music wie in Techno Klubs zu essen hat gein Bierkeller feeling. Bedienung war höflich aber das konnte das essen auch nicht rette.

Good place to have German beer and German food with a very friendly price. Waiters wear German traditional costumes. The place itself has cool decorations like in Bavaria.

We visited first time for just drinks so can’t review their food. But the service here was excellent, really friendly and welcoming, clean and lovely place to be. The Whiess beer we had was really refreshing and really nice to drink and enjoy. We will definitely visit again with intention to eat as the menu looked really good.

Extremely loud basement. All food deep fried. I hated it, but I guess some people are looking for that...

Lovely lively and very Munich. Spacious with traditional Germanic food and beer. There was a German band uplifting even more the atmosphere. I loved it !

Popped in on a Saturday night, late evening. It’s in the basement. We arrived and were greeted by men dancing on the tables to live music. The steins gold two pints and luckily they had a cocktail list. When the music stopped then everyone sat down. We all had a dance. Toilets are clean. Bar staff are efficient and dressed in German costume.Very much a male dominated venue. Decent atmosphere. Door man was friendly too.

We initially came here for dinner and a couple of pints, but the evening swiftly transformed into a full-fledged festival, complete with a lively band playing their hearts out! The food was great, but the vibrant energy from the band and the dancing crowd elevated our experience to a whole new level. We'll definitely be back for more good times and memorable experiences soon!

A pub that serves 2 pint steins in central London... With fantastic staff... And great beer... And it's very cool on a hot day. So, get down there sharpish and you won't be disappointed

Just several minutes walk from the Big Ben, right on Victoria Street. Food was great, beer too :-). Service was personal and friendly. It is in a huge "basement", new, clean, quiet, and not very busy around lunch time. I have read that food is not really authentically german - I never (unfortunately) been in Germany so, cannot judge. It was a great experience. Will come back soon.

Went here for lunch on a stag do on a Saturday. The staff were very welcoming and even helped with a couple of challenges the stag needed to do. They recommended good food for us and great beer. The only disappointment was the atmosphere. We expected it to he really busy on a Saturday lunch time and we were only 1 of 4 tables in the entire place. I would go back for the food and the beer but might try an evening to see if the atmosphere is any better! We had the snitzel platter and the sausage platter. Both were very good and the sauces that came with them both were very good. I loved the preztles and dipping them in to the mushroom sauce!

Me and several mates went here on a stag do and had a blast! The beers were great and the food delicious. We ordered the sausage and schnitzel platters which easily fed the 8 of us. The service staff were accommodating to our large group and we're very friendly. Thanks Munich Cricket Club for a wonderful lunch!

A really fun evening with a FABULOUS oompah band (not there every evening) and dancing on the tables! Food and drink reasonably priced and venue-appropriate. Suitable for young and, like us, not-so-young. We would go again.

Wonderful find off Victoria St we happened to stumble across. Very authentic German beer and food. We were early so couldn't really judge the ambience and atmosphere properly, staff were great, will revisit soon.

The food was nice, but they didn't have a lot of options which were on the menu. One of them and the main reason for which we came was to try the veal schnitzel, which we were disappointed to find out they didn't have that day. Also, the waiter was very disrespectful and he seemed to not be in the mood to work or serve us. You should invest more in the customer service as it is a very nice restaurant.

What an entirely nasty place 🤢 this might have been the nastiest meal I have ever had and I’m not being dramatic. My friend and I ordered my favorite dish (currywurst) and it was legitimately a cold sausage with the wateriest nastiest sauce on top of soggy fries. Not even cut up. A pretzel with this nasty cheese sauce not even mixed properly together. Our waitress was so rude and unconcerned, when she came by none of our food was remotely touched. Didn’t ask why we didn’t eat it and just awkwardly took it away. When she came back my friend politely told her that the currywurst was not good or anything remotely like a currywurst and she just looked at us dumbfounded and said “ok(with about a 10 second pause) what do you want me to do about it?) it was so awkward and confusing and uncomfortable we all just couldn’t help but laugh. When she came back we told her once more I’m so sorry, there’s no way we can pay for this, it’s disgusting (mind you we had drinks and other friends also got entrees) she didn’t say anything or apologize and just walked away came back with revised bill and we had our cards down to split, she didn’t even grab them to put them in the machine, literally gave us the most attitude ever and was like “you can put it in the machine” in the rudest tone, not a goodbye at the end, not an apology, not a thank you. Just straight up huffs and walks away. My friend and I actually came home after just a few nibbles of our food completely nauseated and threw up!!! This place actually smells like sewage and musty and should have been a warning from the beginning but I was so excited to go to a German restaurant while I was visiting in London.
