Worst place in Harpenden. Terrible atmosphere- food & cocktails were dire. Ibiza San Antonio kinda crowd too. Hardly will work in lovely Harpenden… no go!

Great little spot. Great vibes, good choice of cocktails and nice acoustics so you can actually chat. I'll be back!

Impromptu visit tonight, and was not disappointed. We hadn’t booked, busy night but staff were willing and happy to accommodate. We were given a table to enjoy pre-diner drinks, then followed by a fabulous meal with an uncomplicated menu. Great ambience supported with excellent sounds and mood lighting. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Walked in past the manager, went to the bar to order and was then asked by the manager to remove my cap, I questioned this and was then asked to leave without reason other than "it's policy". Was not treated with any respect despite being respectful myself. One of my friends was pushed out the door as the manager was monologuing and not engaging in constructive dialogue. One of the staff was lovely however a great guy who told us it was last orders when we walked in! Not surprising they have changed their name again in an attempt to attract a new crowd. *EDIT* if you read most of the reviews they're from before the name change as you can see from most of the business responses.

Lunatic owner accused us of drug dealing because we went to the bathroom upon entering. Appalling service, we will not be returning until the establishment changes hands (again)

Been here before and it was ok, however standards have dropped again. The bar was loud, overcrowded and dark. Service took too long and the bar seemed messy and disorganised. Not surprising considering there were only two barstaff trying to serve, while others were just standing around. At £6 a pint I would've expected a premium lager, which was not what we received. No idea what we did get as there were no signs advertising what was on tap and you couldn't hear the poor barman, who was clearly rushed off their feet, over the music. The outdoor area was then comparatively too bright, and understandably busy on a hot day. Going to the toilet, the door was propped open / blocked by a barstool that you had to get past. This is apparently what is done though as it was the exact same the last time we visited too! Overall just not a great experience from start to finish.

What a bar! The owners are awesome and so accommodating. They are a credit to the industry. We will be back! 🥳

Bringing shoreditch to the county, the clubroom finds the ballance between brunch with associates to vibes from latest shoreditch performers. A guinuinely refreashing attitude to late night entertainment on our doorstep really asks the question, do j need to go to Kensington or chelsea to hang out care free with my fellow elites. Finding a rental space, for meetings that doesn't break the bank and delivers the service to entertain all manor of associates whilst providing a 'safe space' to talk business is a welcome addition to the elite harpenden highstreet.

What the highstreet has always been missing. The place to be if you can in when the tunes are banging! Lawrence is a life saver, love you guys! Xx

A superb bar and restaurant, something of a hidden gem in Harpenden which is absolutely worth seeking out. The staff are first rate, as are the food and drink, and the tardis-esque premises have been thoughtfully revamped over lockdown to make for a spacious and comfortable yet slightly edgy dining + drinking experience. It's suitable for all age brackets but sits alone in Harpenden as breaking the mould of the generic chain gastropubs and functioning as a decent bar for those who want to drink beyond midnight. We went there this weekend - three courses and 5+ hours of wine / beer cost no more than it would do anywhere else in town, but the quality of what we ate far exceeded expectations. Big thanks to Richard, Phoebe and Laurence for looking after us and it was great chatting with you all! See you again soon.

Went for dinner on a Friday evening - 4 of us total. Unfortunately the service was very slow, took a while for even our wine to come! Took about 45 minutes for starters and then a further 45 minutes after that for mains. Not sure why this was as there seemed to be a lot of servers. It's decorated nicely but the music was so loud we had to shout to talk to each other. I was expecting the food to be something special given the higher price points but it wasn't. In particular the truffle and parmesan fries didn't taste of truffle with a tiny sprinkling of parmesan and portion size of a cup for £4.95!! The buffalo wings (£8) tasted good but nothing better than what you'd get at wetherspoons, plus they did not initially come with the celery they were supposed to and I had to request this, to then only get 4 thin pieces of it- you'd think they'd be able to spare a bit more! My friend commented that the octopus in the tacos was a bit too burnt. The best thing we tried was probably the pork carnitas, though these again felt overpriced being ~£8 for two. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend coming here.

New, restaurant, recently open, but definitely worth a visit. Menu probably needs tweaking (too much beef), but food was delicious.
