Been a customer for almost 2 years, and only had small issues in the past. However our most recent order has spoilt this takeaway for us. We waited just over and hour for a pizza and 1 curry dish. Once we got home, we realised the one dish we ordered was incorrect, but we were charged for the dish we had ordered. We didn't fancy waiting another hour for the dish we had actually ordered. We also found the pizza we ordered was slightly undercooked :( This isn't our first time waiting up to an hour for a small order. Other customers were coming in and ordering large quantities of curry dishes and chips and were being told 10-15 minutes to be done, we can also imagine they were outraged to find out it was up to an hour for a single curry dish, let alone a couple. The only reason I would recommend this place is for the fish and chips as that was only a 15-20 min wait. Young man at the counter is really polite and seems to know his way round the kitchen. Shame about the lengthy waiting times and poor quality checking from the staff. We will no longer be going back sadly.

Second visit,. Not going back. Ordered doner meat with chips. Pale in colour with lovely size bits of bone. Less grit eating on a windy beach. Donate the money to charity instead as it'll make you feel better than the food makes you feel.

Great chippy, does everything a chippy does and more, curries, kebabs, lots to choose from and delivers.

It's a multi produce fast food shop. We tried the Indian food & it was tasty, hot & well cooked. Recommended for this but they also sell fish & chips and kebabs none of which we tried, next time!

Food was really Burnt tonight I think it's cheap that you are using bisto gravy will definitely not be back

My second year at the annual Tredegar House Folk Festival, and this was once again my go-to for food. Really friendly service, HUGE portions, reasonable prices. This year, I tried the 'chicken doner', which was actually more like lots of pieces of tandoori chicken cooked doner-style and served wrapped in a naan--delicious! Pity about the weather... for the benefit of the owner, I was the older lady walking with a stick.

We are local and wow whenever we have had a take out it's been outstanding. Tonight we had kebabs and enjoyed them immensely...Thank you guys your food is amazing.

Great little fish and chips Nice and clean shop

Just finished our dinner from Twinz Fish Bar. It would have got a 5 star review but for the missing chicken and mushroom pie from its chips, had to share out some of the two curries we had ordered. As for the starters 3 x chicken tikka starters these were absolutely top draw in terms of quality, taste, presentation and were amongst the best we have had. The chicken tikka masala was in the top 10 curries we have had and you know we live near the curry capital of the UK and to be in the top 10 for us was some going. It was awesome and deserved a 5 star rating. The Korachi was again brilliant in terms of quality and taste Overall a big recommendation for Twinz fish bar but deducted a star for an incomplete order. Don't like to pay for something we didn't get. Would have definitely been 5 star in terms of reception and friendly, quality and taste, value for money (minus a chicken pie !) PS, had to share my masala .......... criminal offence to share something so great...... just don't tell her ladyship I said that..... Laters all. Updated. 22nd Feb. Went back for out last meal out for our visit to the area. Spoke with the team there who remembered our missing chicken and mushroom pie incident ! And promptly apologised and added it to our order. We highly recommend this place for high quality and most excellent take out food. Be prepared to wait a while whilst it is cooked fresh to order and well worth the wait be assured from our experience. It's a shame we live so far away but future visits to this area will ensure our return visit. We have reinstated this to its deserved 5 star rating Best wishes to the Twinz team.

Great fish and chips, I'd say the best in town!

I love this place. It's a one stop shop. It's great when you have different parties wanting to order different types of food. With Twinz you can get from fish n chips, Donner kebab to Currys. The portion size to value is also good. The food is also very tasty and the service is first class. Will definitely go there again.

We arrived at Twinz for a takeaway just before it closed last night and the staff could not have been more helpful.Generous portions,reasonably priced and very tasty. A great little find.Thank you.

Very nice food, although the staff often mess up the orders. The chips are always stuck together. Food takes a long time and bad staff hygiene. Please make sure the staff have good hygiene otherwise this will turn people off like me.

Shocking service, pay for food, waiting for 30 minutes for 3 bags of chips, people coming in and getting priority, remembered why i stopped coming here before, joke..

Twinz fish bar, the only takeaway to survive in duffryn, this just tells u how good itis. Plenty of choice, great food, kebabs , chips curry, whatever u fancy, twinz got it. Great staff great buisness, give it a try u wont regret it :-)

Not impressed! Telephoned ahead but told didn't have any veggie burgers when I arrived to pick it up so had to wait another 20 mins for alternative. Fish and chips put up way before pizza ready so was cold. Chips were not very nice, would rather have less but cooked well.

Good food, cant fault anything on the menu. Telephone ordering is the one thing that lets this place down, have to repeat your order multiple times and still turns up missing items or items somehow missed off the order completely which they do redeliver twenty minutes later. Have to repeat your card details several times for them to take payment too.

We have enjoyed each takeaway we had this weekend. Excellent tasty food. Plenty of it to. Service was second to none and staff very friendly. All social distancing was in place and easy to follow. We will definitely be back on our next visit

Huge cod in batter that was made fresh to order, you do have to wait for the fish to cook but I’d rather have fresh fish any day rather that a cod that’s been sat there drying out. Chips was really good. Prices more than fair. Overall couldn’t improve or change things in any way.

If u like old battered sausage reused from the night before this is your place, come on in wait ten minutes for fresh chips and stale sausage!

Food was over rated, I'm sure they water down their sauces, cause the garlic mayo was dripping thin, Made bread and chips all soggy! Gentleman that served me was great, but the woman with her hair up on her head (dark hair) kept licking her fingers to lift the paper for chips, then used her same hand (didn't wash) to steady the mountain of meat on a customers kebab!! There was also a younger girl with very long hair extensions, not tied back. She kept flicking her hair around, not hygienic at all!!!!

Lovely food . Good prices. We are staying in the motohome camp site. And did not know there was a chippy so close woohoo lol and it's a kebab shop as well . Ever thing we had was love and freshly food . Well be back for food the next time we stay here

1st visit food was just about ok. Did look for the hygiene rating eventually found it on the very top of the shop front, very disappointing 1 star☹️ should have looked harder before I bought!....

Twinz is a fish and chip shop serving the standard fare that would be expected at such an establishment. The menu also states that they serve Indian / Pakistani food after 4pm. This includes various curries, rice dishes and sundries. To get into the shop involves going up a couple of steps so this isn't wheelchair accessible. There is a car park in front of the local post office so it is easily accessible and just a short walk from the Tredegar House (National Trust) site.

Amazing food, amazing prices and friendly staff. Eat in or take away. Always come here after spending hour with kids in the beautiful Tredegar house.

Nice takeout next to our house. There is an indoor seating area (only small) but enough if you want to eat your meal there quickly. Food was good. I recommend the Indian curry sauce and chips. Let's just say all the food was excellent. Owner & staff are lovely people. Price is reasonable and food is tasty!
