Gave this a try cos I had an offer on just eat....was dubious as never tried this food....but omg.am.i glad I did......had lamb shank and it was beaut....plenty of good tasty food....good portions beaut food quick delivery.....order early as they get so busy....definitely ordering again....well recommended.....couldn't eat it all n I tried ...delicious

Fantastic Turkish cuisine - aromatic dishes and melt in your mouth chargrilled meat. Especially recommend the mixed kebab, sucuk and hummus!

We went today and ordered Creamy Chicken and it was so watery looking more like a soup and tast disgusting we can't even eat it,as well we ordered Kleftico which wasn't cooked enough and the meat was like plastic so hard to chew and its was smell so bad lamb. So disappointed, but we paid 77£.

12 of us went here on Friday night, for a works get together, brilliant amazing amazing food and the belly dancer was the icing on the cake.

This was the first time I had visited Turkuaz Bar & Grill and it’s safe to say…I wasn’t disappointed!! The atmosphere and setting felt warm and vibrant. The team from the front of house to the kitchen were super-friendly and attentive and the food…wow! Utterly delicious and authentic Turkish cuisine. My friend and I sampled the hummus to start, followed by lamb shish and spicy minced lamb. For dessert, the lady (who actually made the desserts) recommended a traditional Turkish poppy seed cake…I would have taken a photo, but it was demolished in about 2mins flat! Outstanding! I would highly recommend this restaurant, it will leave you feeling like you have escaped to Turkey for an hour or two, wonderfully full and hopelessly content! Thank you, we will be back 🫶

It is the best restaurant in Doncaster where I spent some time with my love.

Turkish food is one of my favourite foods My visit to turquaz was not as good as I had expected Long waiting time to order drinks even though we had a reservation The food was disappointing items on the set menu missing or not available Long waiting periods during the courses Not like the restaurant was packed My expected level of expectations is based on the countless Turkish restaurants I've been in and the level of service received and the quality of the food served I will stick with the restaurant that I know will offer the best service and food

Tukuaz has been fully renovated since my last visit and now feels fresh and modern. We sat by the large bi-folding windows on a warm evening watching the comings and going of Doncaster! The food is still fantastic and the meal deals really good value. Its a good idea to try as many of the starters as you can to get a real taste of Turkish food. Service was very efficient and friendly but if I had one small criticism, it was that we felt a bit rushed. I don't like having main course served whilst I'm still chewing my starter, and I think from sitting down to paying the bill was under an hour. As I said, a minor criticism and next time we will ask for a pause between courses. Otherwise a very enjoyable restaurant.

Went for my wife's birthday. Food is excellent, and relatively cheap. Metite kofta, and sucuk for starters, both just the right amount of spice. Recommend both. Et Sote and Tavuk Sote for main course. Very well cooked, and generous portions. Staff are friendly, but not pushy. The only downside is where it's situated, not the nicest area of the city, however, it's worth looking out for as the food is excellent.

Everyone here is smiling and knows their job, the food is very delicious and there is a great business owner, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Kenan.

If I could give minus stars I would. Walked into the bar and used the toilet facilities first as I was desperate for the loo. As I was walking out to get my partner who was smoking outside I was shouted at by one of the staff in front of other customers saying "next time...ask". Safe to say we walked away and went to another place for food.

The food was delish we ordered lamb, chicken nuggets and strips and chicken oh and don't get me started with the atmosphere of the place it felt like magical the choice of music is like an angelic harp I loved it 10/10 recommend.

Turkuaz is a brilliant restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. Ken and his team were friendly and professional and made sure all of our food was with us very quickly. I had the Chicken Iskender which was stunning and I would highly recommend it. Definitely worth a go if you live nearby or are visiting the city!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We are in Doncaster for a few days having specialist work done on our car. We decided to get take away and came across turkuaz, after reading previous reviews, we decided to try it. Wow the food is amazing, really tasty. The staff/management were lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend it

Really nice place to visit. Atmosphere was great, service was good and was child friendly :). High chairs available. Clean place. Food was great! Starters were amazing from the meat to the dips we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Mains we got sharing platter - wasn’t too bad but I found it quite dry. Deffo needed sauces.

Went there with my 3 friends and the service experience was worst at the door label was appeared as open we engerd and ask for the table then a guy comes to us and said that sorry we are close then we decided to left then suddenly he asked us to serve some of the stews if we want then we oreder Siem chicken Some lamb and pasta food was good but they were treating us like we are having dinner at some charity then we asked for bread then he said no more bread even more than half of our stews are remaking them they serve us the cold nam bread really disheart from their behaviour and service may be this was first and last experience at turkuaz for me here in Doncaster. 😒😒

Staff were always on hand but not in your face. Had a nice laugh and a chat with the young waiter that served us. Great guy. Service was quick, but we didn't feel rushed. We were a party of 7 and everybody enjoyed all their food. Both starters and mains. Cracking restaurant. Cheers!

Amazing place to go for a meal , date , Xmas party etc . Food is gorgeous. I am not fan of lamb . This is the only place I eat lamb ribs and lamb chops . I treat this place and staff like family . The restaurant is running by amazing owner who will always greeting us with smile on his face . We will see you this Sunday guys . Set for two : beetroots , calamari, Albanian liver and two lamb chops well done lol :) :)

The place was really cold, got freezed. It is OK for British people who can walk in a T-short below 0 but for me it was not warm enough there. The toilet door behind the restaurant was open and not nice smell with a draft was coming from there. Maybe it was down to the table place in the restaurant but they should think about the heating and the smell.

The food is top notch, it's all really fresh and the bread and dips to start with are a real bonus... just don't overfill on the bread or you will struggle to eat your main meal! The £48 deal for two is excellent value.

All in all a great experience, food was well proportioned and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. The premises were clean and tidy, plenty of room between tables so you don't feel packed in, wasn't rushed after the meal either. The only small criticism is the somewhat limited veggie and vegan options, owing to the type of restaurant, I was there for a family outing so the venue choice wasn't mine.

Booked 6 days ago for Monday at 6:30 for 5 people got emailed confirmation and an email the day before asking if I’d still be attending. Turned up at 6:30 to see a private event inside and the restaurant closed to the public. We used to live locate however come back to Turkwaz as a treat, 80 miles round trip for a Mother’s Day deal to be ruined, if the restaurant was closed they could have rang us and rearranged !

This has to be the coldest restaurant I've ever eaten in. There was a constant stream of delivery drivers/smokers going out of the front door and the rear door was open too. We couldn't wait to get back to our car for a warm. The service was very slow and inconsiderate. Half of our party got their main course a good half an hour after the rest. The starters we paid for were removed without asking us if we'd like to keep the bread and dips. The waiter just plonked it all on top of each other before we had a chance to stop him. The food was just OK. The meat was OK, the flavours a bit bland. There are three other similar establishment on the same street or the next street that have much better food. The cost was too much for what we got. Two adults and two children was £100. The choice of beer was also limited. I ordered draft beer and got a bottle! When I asked for a glass I was given a hot glass right out of the dishwasher. The bar area looked like a bombsite and was littered with dirty glasses. Don't pay to use the adjacent NCP car park because there is ample free parking just around the corner at the marketplace. People continue to park on double yellow lines right outside the door, making it treacherous to cross the road. I don't regret going and, to be honest, everywhere else was fully booked. But would I go back. No.

Highly recommend Turkuaz to anyone. The food was absolutely beautiful, we all enjoyed it and the service was faultless. They were all really friendly, warm and helpful. We will definitely be back. Lovely night cheers. I forgot to take any pictures of the food because we were too busy enjoying it but we had the set menu for our table and it was a massive 11/10.

This place is the jewel in Doncaster's crown....an absolutely amazing restaurant, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere & above all amazing food. Have been a number of times over the years & have never once had bad service or food. I can only highly recommend Turquaz as a brilliant place to go with friends, family, couples & workmates....you will not be disappointed.

Lovely food, quick service and staff friendly

How can I describe Turkuaz concisely enough so as not to take up too much of your time? To sum up Turkuaz in a fairly big nutshell (like a walnut or coconut) I would start by saying: Turkuaz is the best restaurant in Doncaster and certainly the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to - its tremendous. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and quite often a handshake from the owner - Kenny. You will then be presented with a basket of free bread (which should be offered in all restaurants) whilst you wait to decide on your order. Speaking of which, if you are considering Turkuaz I would recommend going for a full 3 course meal: The meatballs, sucuk, fried feta rolls and Albanian liver are all great starters however, if you are pushed for time I would say go for the meatballs - they are an exemplary display of how meatballs should be served and are often the highlight of my meal. That being said you won't go wrong with any of the starters that you choose. In terms of main courses you can't go wrong with the classics: Sarma Beyti, kebabs and skewers and Kleftico. The Iskenda is also a fan favourite. Next time I visit which, lets face it, will probably be in the next couple of days, I might try something from the Chef's specials as I am yet to do so. Moving on... For dessert I highly recommend the Baklava washed down with a Turkish tea to make the experience that little bit more authentic. Wouldn't put any less than 5* for this place, as we had fantastic service and food tonight and definitely will be visiting again. Service is at a very good quality, food is lovely as well, vegan options were fantastic. Very impressed, definitely didn't expect it. Also the bill was even less than we expected, would 100% recommend Turkuaz to everyone.

Definitely worth booking ahead as this popular restaurant has limited seating and fills up quickly on weekends. Still worth dropping in if you're a small party and happy to vacate the table by a set time as they might be able to squeeze you in. Generally good quality Turkish food across the board but the hot mixed mezze starter and the whole grilled fish mains deserve special mentions.
