My son worked here for 2 months. Still not been paid. So do not use.... Disgust ing that they still open

Avoid this scam company at all costs!!! Refuses to pay its staff!!! Should be shut down and owners imprisoned!!!

Terrible. Just terrible. Me and my partner visited for Valentine’s Day meal as we have followed them on Instagram for ages and their shakes look unreal. We got there and was seated upstairs, after my boyfriend ordered he came back empty handed and we waited approx 50 minutes for our food and drink. To say the restaurant wasn’t even busy. It is abit of a joke. The food came and the chips were cold, the nachos looked plain, weren’t even Propper Doritos, lidls own salted chips at like 50p a bag. It was just a disappointment. The only good thing about it was the shake which was really nice. Waste of money in my opinion. Their time management is poor, would rather spend £30 at five guys tbh. Won’t be returning.

Why , just why,would a restaurant reheat Mac & cheese ?Like they thought no one would notice when food is stale? I thought it was weird the plastic was melted like it had been in the microwave but didn’t realise what had happened until I tasted it. You think people want to spend money on stale food? I’m so annoyed!!

Went in today on spur of moment with my 12 year old daughter. Really loved our visit. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Great prices. Even if on a very tight budget there is a deal for two people for £9.99 two chicken burgers and two fries and two classic shakes! I would definitely come here again prices comparable with KFC or McDonald but far superior food on offer. My daughter had the Oreo cookie waffle, for her choice as a dessert as she had actually just eaten a main not long before she was with me. It was soft, fresh delicious, they were able to customise to how she wanted it no cream...I had the MacDaddy burger with cheese fries and a famous shake I think I had hot fudge brownie or something like that...it was delicious. The burger was juicy and had lots of the toppings, the bread bun was beautiful. The cheese for the fries was really tasty. I could not fault this meal whatsoever and we will be going back soon without a doubt!

Ordered and delivered, no issues with the delivery time. However the food was really cold, the burger was as thin and tasteless as the lettuce. I have email So Famous to ligca complaint and then followed this up with a message on FB along with images of the poor food quality and still I am waiting for a reply...... Do not waste your money on this cheap food, a McDonald 99p cheese burger, puts their’s to shame....

People please be careful. One of the dirtiest restaurants I had ever come across. My brother got severe food poisoning. What gets me is that restaurants get paid to provide a clean service and especially with an over priced place like this so it’s not like the food is cheap or free so why do they not put in the effort to make sure that their food is clean like the people are entitled to. Be careful, the council haven’t had the chance to take a look at their hygiene yet as they are new. I come to find out the same people run the big filla restaurant next to centretainment where I once made the mistake and ate and found the biggest hair ever in the horrible dried rice. For that hair to go unnoticed tells you the whole story about their priorities. I just have one question, would the managers or owners let their kids or families eat there?

Due to COVID restrictions we decided to get a takeaway from here through their partner at City grabs. I will not be going back. Average food and, following the wrong order being delivered to us, the service from So Famous was rude, aggressive, and difficult. I don't mind errors being made, within reason, but the businesses reaction to the error is critical and insightful to their consumer philosophy. So Famous were unacceptably poor in this error resolution and for this reason I am extremely displeased by this experience.

First time eating from So Famous Ordered for collection, quick turnaround from order time to collection. Good food and shakes. Great customer care - minor issue with order but spoke with them and they were very helpful resolving this. Will definitely order/eat with them again!

Highly reccommend the shakes here, very nicely made. However the food here is poor and the restaurant itself not very clean. Tables are not cleaned in between customers and social distancing rules were non-existant. Only plastic forks and knives provided. Also one member of our group fell down the stairs (floor and stairs are very slippery) on to their knees and not one member of staff offerred to help or even acknowledged this.

We ordered for delivery as my daughter has had food before and enjoyed it. Firstly when delivery arrived the driver shouted my daughter's boyfriend over to his car to collect the food. On looking into the car, the driver had no shoes on. Secondly, the food arrived cold. My buffalo chicken pieces were a disgusting soggy mess, my daughters burger arrived complete with someone's hair as an extra. The Strawberry Waffle might have been cooked hours earlier judging by the look of the nutella. Needless to say straight in the bin. We ended up going out to a local Indian restaurant instead.

My friend and I ordered from here on uber eats. That order took over an hour to arrive and they didnt stick to the instructions. My friend paid for cheese on her fries which was on the order but not on the fries. This is the second time I've eaten from so famous and the second time there has been issues. We also asked for no gherkin and no tomato and both burgers contained both.

Upon entering we was greeted only to sign our name and give a contact number for covid during that moment a explicit version of cardi B was playing throughout the restaurant downstairs the staff didn't seem to mind we escorted our children upstairs because of what I could hear downstairs.anyway I ordered and went to collect my burgers. it was put on two trays I asked if a member of staff could help they told me they couldn't I looked around as their was a few staff members doing nothing including the one situated upstairs guarding the toilet and gazing into space i had to take two trips to collect my food by the time I had done that the burger was stone cold I was going to complain again but the service I already received when I asked for help wasn't welcoming or helpful while eating our food that large screen upstairs had music playing with half naked women dancing on it i was mortified as this place promoted family ordinated I wasn't sure if I was in a bar or strip club from what i could visually see and hear I rushed my kids to eat and immediately told the staff she responded with sorry about that and that was it I went to Instagram and DM the account for the restaurant and I'm been ignored as they constantly post stories up of food I'm sorry but it's an expensive mac Donald's with crap customer service run by children a complete waste of money not happy.

We went here for ths first time on a Monday when it was help out to eat out so we kinda knew it would be busy especially with no booking system in place but wow people were just everywhere no social distancing in queue no social distancing in waiting area kids running everywhere suppose that's down to parents but staff didn't remind anyone about it or asked to keep children sat down. We was told to wait in the waiting area menu left on seats these weren't cleaned at all anyone could pick them up. We was told it would be a 50 minute wait for food we accepted that as it was eat out to help out and everywhere would be booked had to wait around 15 minutes for the table this was cleaned before we sat down and once sat down to eat we felt more at ease with the social distancing tables spread out enough. The food was really really nice milkshakes better than mcdonald's and with the offer even better value. I will come back but not until social distancing isn't a thing anymore because is non existint here maybe need to set up a booking system whilst we go through the pandemic!

Lovely juicy burgers, chicken well seasoned and fries crispy! Couldn't ask for better food for the price! Milkshakes packed with flavour were a dessert themselves!

We just got food delivered by Uber Eats. The food was late and cold. The chicken burger was rubbery and chewy and the smashed beef burger was tasteless and disappointing. Milkshakes very good but delivered without straws. Very disappointing overall.
