Today, I visited an amazing Iranian restaurant in Sheffield and had an excellent experience! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and traditional atmosphere of the restaurant, with its Iranian decor, instantly reminded me of home. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel comfortable right away. The food was absolutely delicious! The khoresht gimeh and Koobideh kebab were full of flavor, and just amazing. Additionally, the rice, perfectly cooked with saffron, was so aromatic and tasty, I couldn’t stop eating it! This restaurant wasn’t just a great culinary experience, but also a cultural one, allowing me to connect with Iranian culture while enjoying the food. If you're in Sheffield and looking for an authentic Iranian experience, definitely check this place out. I’ll be back for sure!

Booked a table at QashQai Kitchen for my brothers graduation after hearing a lot about it, and it didn’t disappoint! I’ve tried many Persian restaurants, but this one has a unique, heavenly flavor. Everything—the food, service, and atmosphere—was 10/10. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered from this Iranian restaurant, and honestly, I feel like they think their customers won’t notice the shortcuts they’re taking. But as an Iranian, I can clearly see how they are cutting corners, and it feels like daylight robbery. The portion sizes are ridiculous—especially the chenjeh kebab. It’s so small that it’s almost insulting. For the price they charge, you’d expect a proper portion, not a few tiny pieces barely enough for a meal. The quality of the rice is just as disappointing—this is NOT the fragrant, high-quality Persian rice we expect. And the so-called saffron on top? Just yellow coloring with no real aroma or taste. They are clearly trying to fool customers who don’t know any better. This is not just a lack of authenticity; it’s outright dishonesty. Persian food is supposed to be generous and full of flavor, but here, it’s just overpriced and underwhelming. If you actually care about real Persian cuisine and getting what you pay for, look elsewhere.

Had a wonderful experience at QashQai Kitchen with a friend! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was super friendly. We tried a few dishes, and everything was fresh and flavorful, especially the kebabs. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The food is very tasty and the staff are warm and welcoming. It's reasonably priced and quiet enough to hear yourself speak. You can also bring your own wine which is a bonus!

Iranian Saffron ice cream is one of the best in the country.

Terrible. We arrived at the opening time (1pm according to google) - to be told, what for 10 minutes. 20 minutes later - while standing outside, we were told - “we open at 2pm today”. Terrible!!!!

The personnel attitude was quite friendly, and they had a nice atmosphere. I experienced one of the best Kebab Barg (Lamb fillet) I ever had in this restaurant. I ordered Soltany mixed. The rice and koubideh kebab were really good, also!

Today I ate my meal from this restaurant. The food was very delicious and more than excellent. They also have baklava and very delicious sweets.

Fantastic food and people. It was my first proper experience of Persian food and it’s safe to say, it won’t be my last. The lamb neck and rice, by far is one of the best slow cooked lamb I’ve had in a while. So 100% recommended

“Never choose this place for a meal, as you’ll undoubtedly regret it once you see the bill. For sides, they charge £5 for 20 grams of shallot yogurt, £5 for 20 grams of cucumber yogurt, and £5 for 20 grams of Shirazi salad. For a drink, a single glass of doogh is £3. As for the main course, a salty koobideh kebab will set you back £12. Absolutely not worth it.”

Lovely, warm welcome as we arrived. Food was brilliant. So tasty. Everything tasted like it had been made only moments before. The meat was incredibly good quality. Even the grilled tomato tasted exceptional. Brilliant value for money. Two very full stomachs and some food to take away for less than 50. You can't go wrong with this place. I'll definitely be back.

We ordered 20 different Persian dishes for our guests. Chellow Kabab (Koobideh, Makhsoos and Soltani) as well as Fesenjoon and Zereshk polow where so delicious that everyone enjoyed. We were satisfied with their fresh and tasty ingredients and very good yummy food. A great memory for all of us. Thank you

Felt home after quite some while with some delicious, juicy, and tender persian kebabs. The kebabs (we tried Koobideh and Barg) were professionally prepared and cooked. The staff were also very nice and the restaurant had a very calming and cozy atmosphere with lovely persian music being played in the background.

From A-Z, they are A1!! As soon as you walk in, they show sincere Persian hospitality, the food came without excess wait and the meal was absolutely amazing. The meat tender and juicy, the chicken moist and cooked to perfection. I could easily write a books worth of just how good their food is!! And speaking as a student, the price was not expensive at all! The price is very reasonable. There’s a reason why they are voted the best Halal Resturant in Sheffield 5 years running!!! Me and friend loved this place! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Arvin was really good at suggesting meals for us (we have not had Persian food before) the restaurant is a nice size and authentic. The food is fantastic, full of flavour and the portion sizes are spot on. The saffron tea and the baclava were a nice treat after the main meal. I will be coming back to try more! The best food we have tried thus far in Sheffield. The quality of food and the cook is very high, the place is neat, the plates presentation was good. The only downside is that it is expensive for the portion provided. I would have given it 4.5 (losing half the point on the price) but it’s not an option- therefore, the good food beats the negative point for the price. (@google_reviews- need to add a field for price tag) We had kobideh kabab (very well cooked- tasting amazing, the Barg kabab and the Joojeh kebab I think We tried the saffron tea, saffron Icecream and balkawa- all were phenomenon I would come there but not as often as it is heavy on the budget!

I love the family run business, the family is so friendly and you can tell by the lively and friendly customers how accommodating this family run business is. The food was so tasty. I celebrated my birthday on the 6th July for a party of 28 people. We all had a fabulous time, the owner also provided a Tv to watch the England match! 🤪 my guest were so excited by this touch ! Everyone was pleased and satisfied with their meal even though we waited slightly longer than expected , (which was understandable given the size of the party), however the quality of the dishes was well worth the wait!! 😁 Meal prices are very reasonable, the ingredients fresh and tasty. You can even bring your own alcohol!! 🤩 and pay a small corkage charge. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again very soon. The owner and staff team were very polite and courteous.. it was a fantastic evening .. fabulous memories were had by all.

It was my first time here and find their prices more affordable comparing to similar persian restaurants but quality of food was still so high. I will definitely comeback again not only for the food, but also because of their atmosphere and friendly staff. They also make home made cakes which is really handy if you want to surprise your partner on her birthday like what I did 😃 the only thing could get better is the quality of Naan, the rest are already perfect.

Lovely, traditional Persian restaurant. It was the first time we had eaten here- Eid celebration lunch. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very welcoming and showed a high level of professionalism. I had the vegan/vegetarian options. Delicious aubergine and egg dish with nan bread. My husband had the lamb kebabs. The food was absolutely delicious and was presented well. The service was quick and efficiently. The restaurant staff were very attentive and checked in with us throughout our meal. Definitely worth the price. We bought ourselves a few slices of rose and saffron cake to take home with us.
