Best most juiciest freshest wrap I've ever had 🤤

No flavour, hard meat, no presentation . Dirty, cold restaurant. No prices on the menu 😁 charged 40£ for such a small and old portions!

Called in an hour before closing we asked what was available ( Tuesday night) but the young guy who was behind the counter said they there wasn’t really much left so we left. Odd to stay open if you have no food to sell, should have closed up early.

The food is really good and tasty but the portion sizes are absolutely shockingly small. Not worth the money at all

I went up there on Friday as the phone line was disconnected or not working to find the place closed with no signs of life. It’s now Sunday and I’ve tried again and the phone is ringing but it just rings out so nobody is there. I’m hoping it’s temporary as I really like this place.

Mouldy pitta breads. Drove all the way back. Only cash refund given. No offer of anything else. Had to take all the food back to prove the pita was mouldy. Should have offered more.

After a 40+ year absence I returned to Woodbridge for a few days. Much has changed while much has stayed the same. I found this shop while walking around late afternoon and the aromas coming from within were irresistible. I think anything on the menu would be great and it's made to order...the chicken wrap I had with some veggies and spicy sauce was amazing. Price is fair also. I wouldn't go there for the ambience but the food makes up the difference. I'm going back tonight!

We grabbed a couple of doner kebabs for dinner, and these were top rate, from the pita to the house made chili sauce! Just a great experience.

The food is fantastic, good quality authenticity cooked, looking at other reviews I would have to agree there has sometimes been a grumpy chap taking orders or at the till in the past 😂, It’s worth it, the best kebabs I have ever had are from turkuaz, a lot of very authentically cooked Turkish food (not what you will get at your local kebab) and the place appear clean and practises I’ve seen seem safe I have a level 2 food hygiene certificate and have worked as a chef in the past.

Incorrect order provided - what I was provided included; soggy bread and stale rice. Poor customer service, staff have a bad attitude which is clear for all to see.

It was a bit quiet for Saturday lunchtime. Tasted great when we got home. Loads of crunchy salad.

Having lived and worked in Turkey, I really enjoy visiting Turkuaz regularly. The dishes they serve remind me of my time in Turkey. They have a great selection of mezze (you could say, the Turkish equivalent of tapas). Also, they have a variety of meat dishes which are prepared on an authentic Turkish barbecue with charcoal. This gives the meat a great flavour. The salads they serve are fresh and tasty. The flat bread (pide) is very tasty too. They do takeaways but they also have some tables so you can have a sit down meal. All in al, the best Turkish restaurant in the area and well worth a visit.

Took so long to make the food we got a parking ticket. Many flies in the kitchen. Overcharges for everything like small sauce tubs. Sold us an expired pot of houmus for £3 and was rude, often huffing at us while we ordered. Ive been feeling sick since I ate there. Definitely a large health and safety risk, who knows what else they have spoilt in that place.

The food and service here was excellent. Friendly staff and would definitely recommend! We will certainly book again next time we descend on Woodbridge! Any locals living in the vicinity are very lucky to have turkuaz on your doorstep so make sure you get booking here!!!

Just had one of the best Chicken Shish Kebabs with Salad that I have had in a long while from Turkuaz in Woodbridge. Excellently cooked chicken and lovely fresh salad, great value for money. Will definitely be going back.

Just been served raw chicken. Photos taken, food kept for environmental health to see. Do not order from here. When speaking to restaurant apparently chicken turns pink if not ate straight away. Oh dear khadir. Really bad day at the office

This is our kebab shop of choice. Great size portions and tastes out of this world. The hummus and pita are the best!

This is our go to place to treat ourselves for a kebab. Asking for salad and chilli sauce is essential. Great value.

We ate here last week and the week before- just really good quality kebabs and so nice to actually eat out. I know its so easy to have a takeaway but that's not what I want and they make such an effort here to make it pleasant and the food is really worth sitting down and eating at the table and pretending the world is normal.

Excellent kebab shop which also does other fast food like burgers and pizzas. I only have kebabs and they are some of the best you'll find.

Lovely atmosphere, I order a chicken wrap and it so juicy and nice , and as all of my friends are still going to school it’s really affordable for the freshness of the salads and the grilled chicken shish. And my friends had doner kebab also pleased and really does fill you up , she preferred this Turkish restaurant over the Woodbridge one . Also we all agreed that this restaurant represents turkey the best in Suffolk.

We really enjoyed a mixed starter, followed by mixed lamb kebabs and a chicken skewer. We ended up taking away a whole box that we couldn’t eat! It was just as good the next day!

Came to Woodbridge to visit family and visited Turkuaz for a takeaway on recommendation. I had a Chicken Kebab and my partner had a special mix. The quality of the meat was excellent - juicy flavoursome chicken grilled on skewers in front of you. You can choose your salad and sauce, and portions are well sized. Whilst you can get a cheaper kebab elsewhere, it won’t be the same quality and taste as here. We cannot wait to return.

Have been chasing the company for nearly 2 years for money they owe my company. All contact is ignored from emails, phone calls, postage, to even debt collector warnings! We are a small business and are financially burdened by their lack of payment. We are not the only ones, this company owes a lot of money to a lot of businesses... Food is good but refuse to order from them due to their lack of business respect and integrity...

Amazing. No grease and fresh crunchy salad.

Having visited several times this is now a certain favourite in the vicinity. Good selection of takeaway, with helpful staff and importantly delicious food. I have not eaten in the restaurant many times but have many friends who have enjoyed their experience! The salad is fresh and has a good variety of choice. They do interesting marinades on their meats and the doner is also very good - not made of mystery mush like many other local kebab shops! Also a good Efes while you wait never goes amiss!

Great quality lamb kofte, shish and really delicious doner. A million miles away from the usual elephant-leg fat fest. More expensive than your regular kebab shop, but worth it for the quality. Only criticism is that the kofta and shish has too much salt for my taste.

Food was great and the people who are working there very pleasant, full of care for the customer. Can I just mention how nice it was from them to extra gift me on the way out box of baklavas (traditional Turkish sweets)?... I only wish they had soups, but I can understand why not, probably the Turkish community is not big there and not many people would order it, while it requires time to prepare. Definitely recommend you! P.S. Also, the interior design is lovely :)

We love this place. We have been collecting takeaways from here for over 2 years now and have it way too often.I have the chicken shish kebab and my boyfriend usually has a large chicken & doner kebab which comes to about £13 so it's probably the cheapest takeaway option as well as the freshest and healthiest (the doner meat consists of proper cuts of meat not reformed dodgy meat).Everyone in there is very pleasant and although sometimes the kebabs are tastier some weeks than others, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this takeaway (we haven't gotten round to eating in the restaurant yet although I would like to).

Popped in randomly whilst on shopping trip to Woodbridge. Two adults, two kids. Decided to eat in..about 3pm on Saturday and empty. Food cooked from fresh on open coals and delicious. Good welcome , no extra charge for eating in. (Thought it was just a normal Kebab takeaway !). Two chick shish with an excellent salad, chicken burger ( not your usual frozen) chicken wings and chips plus cheesy chips and a few drinks £27.00 and completely delicious and fresh. Recommended !!

The food is absolutely delicious you won't find any other place with better food. All the staff are so friendly. Prices are reasonable. Perfect for anyone from families to Christmas parties. Highly recommend.

Pleasant decor and friendly staff. The food is good quality and really tasty, although depending on the dish some leave you wanting compared with others. Ask the staff to explain and recommend, and they will gladly. The lamb dish I had was excellent. Reasonable price too.

Take away medium shish no way near as good a portion or quality as another local kebab shop. Very poor and probably won't go back and a really shame as Woodbridge is so nice.

Visiting Woodbridge for work and found this awesome Turkish restaurant by chance. Charcoal cooked meats need i say more! I had the Mixed grilled, great value for money, very delicious perfectly cooked meats and tasty rice. I would have probably eaten there every night if i found it earlier.

First time I’ve been back in 25 years. Food is even better than I remembered, and the baklava and seker pare are AMAZING!

I had not been here for a while. Usually lovely food however on this occasion the donar kebab was awful the meat seemed to be left over bottom of the pile. Very disappointing.

Just had a flavoursome and delicious meal as a take away from this restaurant. Chicken kebabs, fresh salad and koftas. If you enjoy this sort of food it would be difficult to find better locally.

I thought I would try out this takeaway/resturant today as I have heard mixed reviews. I asked for a large kebab. I got a small kebab with not much chicken (which was over cooked) a small salad and a burnt pitta bread for £7.50! Over priced for bad quality food. I do not recomend this kebab takeaway to anyone.

Been going here since previous name days and food consistently good. After recent refurb they raised prices to “ taking the mick” level but soon dropped them after people voted with their feet. My lamb doner last night wast fantastic!!

We were the only customers in the restaurant so it was very quiet. It wasn’t very warm inside so I had to keep my coat on. The mezes were delicious and the presentation excellent ! I had chicken shish main, my husband had lamb, both were served with rice and salad and a plentiful supply of freshly cooked pitta bread. All the food was excellent both in presentation and flavour. We had a bottle of Tempranillo with our meal, the wine was cold which was disappointing. All in all we would recommend it to friends and we will definitely go again.

Everytime i come back to this place its fantastic quite easily the best place in Woodbridge maybe suffolk to get turkish food, its priced fairly and tastes amazing and the freshness is a sign of the care the owner/manager puts into his business.

The owner-operators of the town's popular take-away kebab shop have re-made it into a comfortable and friendly Turkish restaurant, with the take-away service improved as well. The food is authentically Turkish, expertly cooked. The Lamb Kish done over the charcoal grille is perfection, the salad is excellent, the wine list is fine, and the service is friendly and efficient.

We visited Turkuaz restaurant this week and we were absolutely delighted with the whole experience.

Recently moved to the area, fancied a healthier takeaway option and was not disappointed! Had a large lamb shish and chicken shish wrap. Both meats were delicious. beautifully seasoned and tender. Served with lots of fresh salad and lovely sauces. The smell in the restaurant was incredible and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend it!

So sad ... as the Istanbul, the food was excellent ... as the Turkuaz, I found the food barely edible.

Would have never visited this place before its makeover. So we thought we'd give it a try with the family on my birthday and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. The service was very friendly and it felt like a local restaurant run by local people. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful with a great array of mezze. In fact you could have a selection of mezze on their own. All the meat is barbecued at the front so you can watch it cook over the coals.

Popped in here today after a 5 years. The first time I did it was so nasty that I never went back. Today I saw that it had changed name and I hoped owners. No. Just a rebrand and facelift. The meat on the doner is really chewy and grisly. The chili sauce was stone cold and tasted of sugar! Such a shame. Will never go back and would not recommend. Come on owners, your small kebab was £5.90, I expect more quality.

£9,50 for donner meat alone, never in my life have I seen or witnessed this. I honestly thought my friend was having a laugh to find out he was actually being serious about the price. Price aside it was the worst donner meat I've ever experienced. Day light robbery 😂👍

Delicious lamb kebabs with huge chunks of meat all spiced perfectly, came with salad, flat bread and rice. All starters were perfect. Large portions and so reasonably priced. Try the kunefe for dessert. Drinks reasonably priced. Waitress totally on the ball. Lovely refit of premises with new, modern furniture. Still does takeaway though if that's your thing.

Excellent food, very authentic, reasonably priced, lovely new tables and chairs, very efficient staff, but best of all is the delicious kunefe for pudding which I would highly recommend. The shish kebab was amazing, lots of lamb, which was of excellent quality, a glorious salad, rice and flat bread. Everything tasted just as it does when we are in Turkey, even the herbs in the salad. A welcome addition to Woodbridge.

This restaurant is a little gem, in the heart of Woodbridge, serving authentic Turkish food from perfect meze through to kunefe, with everything in between, all perfectly cooked in immaculate surroundings, served by friendly and attentive staff.

I used to love this place when it was Istanbul (same owners) but now they have changed the name and pushed the focus towards a restaurant instead of takeaway kebab things have gone down hill. Kebab meat is now served separately from pitta, sauces and salad. That isn't a takeaway kebab in my eyes. Throw it all in a takeaway container and let me rummage through lol. I sat waiting and must of counted about 7 flies in the takeaway waiting area, landing on the food in the salad bar, and the meat cooking on the grill. Let down! To top it all off the prices have now increased considerably but with no change for the better to the food. Really disappointed with this place now.
