Visited today and the coffee was lovely. I agree with other reviews in that the atmosphere is great and the staff very friendly...HOWEVER...I do find it annoying that customers on laptops with no drink are 'hogging' all the best tables!

Lovely latte and brie and bacon roll..

I absolutely love the renovation of the interior - more spacious and welcoming. I had the plant-based chicken arrabiata panini and it was delicious 😋. I'll definitely have lunch there again 😋

I have moved to Woodbridge fairly recently and Cafe Nero on the Thoroughfare has become one of my go to places. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the place is dog friendly (unlike some other coffee places in Woodbridge). The croissants and other items are always freshly baked and, surprisingly, really good. I quite often end up chatting to other customers, and it is just a nice place to spend some time at. Recommended.

Very friendly, great atmosphere. The Columbian blend coffee is excellent, and it's nice to have a choice. A good selection of pastries and cakes I always have a cake with my coffee ☕🍰👍

Love a Sunday visit to cafe Nero one of the few coffee chains that are dog friendly. So important on our Sunday trips to Woodbridge

While staff chit chatting to one another and scrolling their phones perhaps ought to be restricted to time when there aren't customers waiting, the young team does a good job of providing the requested items in a timely manner. Usually one can find a seat easily enough. A handy spot to meet up in the middle of The Thoroughfare.

Great service but dirty toilet.

Really helpful staff, with great recommendations. Plenty of vegan options. I had the vegan sausage bap. It was very nice. Vegan chocolate and choice of vegan desserts.

Used to get good coffees/service but the last few months the drinks have been awful, either luke warm, or burnt tasting, tables rarely cleaned, very sad as used to enjoy spending time there

Hood coffee, not great for "remote working" as the Internet signal is bad (for O2 & Three) and also no open free WiFi, only a sky one which harvests all your data.

Dogs are allowed which is great but it's crazy that a small dog can't sit on your lap was told dogs not allowed on the furniture he wasn't on the chair he was on my lap and as long as he does not eat from the table what is the big deal put me off going back. Never had a problem elsewhere.

Probably the best coffee in Woodbridge, they are also well priced. The coffees are still under £3.00 unlike some coffee shops in town. Can feel like you are sitting on top of each other when it it is busy but that's a good thing if you are near a Woodbridge yummy mummy.

Ordered a latte , it was well too strong , went back explained too strong got told that is how it is , did not drink it and left

I am becoming a Caffe Nero convert...why because of the staff ... Every location I go to seems switched on, friendly and focused on giving you what you want promptly and politely. Good range of choice, comfortable seating, and prompt service. Final clincher???... Apricot Croissant...divine!!

Enjoyed a nice cup of tea with a friend and ate a nice cheese and onion bake. Delicious.

Nice ambience dog friendly good coffer

Popped in for a coffee and it was lovely to actually get a coffee that was hot and took me longer than 5mins to drink it. Quite possibly the best cinnamon swirl I've ever had. Staff were polite, professional and with quick service. Tables were clean and cleared regularly.

Very abrupt young lady serving. Refused to give milk on the side of 2 americanos saying no small paper cups. I pointed out that there was a stack. She reluctently poured a tiny amount in the paper cup and slammed it on the counter. When i asked for more she shouted "PLEASE". Very rude. We live in woodbridge but will not use neros again if she is serving.

Always great when we visit.. staff are very friendly and accommodating of our young son. It makes it a little sweeter when the coffee is free with o2 also!

We love all the Caffè Neros as it serves the best cup of tea and the coffee is great too. We would prefare the independent coffee shops in Ipswich and Woodbridge but they're never open when we need a cuppa so we always choose cafe Nero as its so much better than Costa

Good coffee, good service good atmosphere.

Needing a coffee and quick bite to eat we chose here as walked past many times and not sampled their offerings. Usual chain selection of snacks and sandwiches and drinks. The sausage roll was very good, meaty filling and tasty and good mug of Americano coffee to wash it down. Good addition to town selection of cafes with choice of tables or some comfy chairs.

Popping into my favourite coffee chain in Woodbridge the other morning before meeting my colleague I was delighted to receive such a charming service here. Friendly and welcoming and nothing too much... excellent service indeed and so wonderful to see in large chain establishments. Well done ladies!

Hot chocolate is a bit too sweet these days

Got here about five, quickly served with an earl grey tea. Sat and read my book for a while. The tea was a good blend. Several other people in the café at this time so there was a bit of a buzz. Lots of Christmas goodies on sale incurring vegan mince pies. Enjoy!

The staff are always friendly and the coffee is pretty good for a large chain. There's a good choice of drinks and snacks - sweet and savory. It always feels relaxed and there's no pressure to move on when you've finished your coffee. Minus one star because they are still using plastic straws! ☹️

Walking down the main street there are several coffee shop choices but we usually use Nero as we like their pastries.

I haven't been here for a long time but have some very pleasant memories. The food here is good but there isn't much I like, they had a very nice egg and bacon butty but it disappeared for a while so there wasn't too much there for me. However, the food is definitely not the sole reason to go. The have the most amazing and gigantic slices of chocolate cake, and I've heard the coffee is excellent. Even better than the coffee or the food are the staff, the staff here are great and super friendly, one server even ended up remembering our order. Would definitely recommend to anybody for a nice coffee and some cake.

OK coffee chain in the centre of Woodbridge town centre. Pay and Display parking is nearby.

On par with Starbucks, friendly staff and good drinks. Was greeted with a friendly welcome and smile, hardly any queue and very quick service. I would always choose cafe Nero over Costa when nearby chain coffee shops. Latte and pastry went down a treat. The staff member spotted that my table needed cleaning as I approached it and dealt with this straight away. Recommended and would return.

Excellent baristas and quick service. Fantastic coffee. Lots of different cakes. Would be nice to see a few more plant based food options in Caffè Nero as a whole but lots of choice if you aren't following a plant based diet. Good choice of plant based milks.

Fairly clean although a third of the tables had used cups and trays on them. They weren't cleared up during our visit. Coffee and tea were fine, staff were friendly

Got to Woodbridge at 3.45pm on Saturday and found all the local tea shops were closing - very frustrating. In the end went into cafe Nero. Usually I don't like using chains but had no choice and was delighted by the friendly service and comfortable decor. Would definitely be using cafe Nero again

A very busy place but that tells you how good it is by it's popularity. Staff pleasing and willing to help. Our favourite are the apricot pastries that they will bake more if they run out unlike our own home town Nero in Felixstowe who can't be bothered.
