Papa John's Pizza in Suffolk Coastal

Ordered pizzas, never came. Worker at Papas wasn’t even fussed, basically had my money and that was it. Not even an apology

Terrible service. I had to amend this review. Advice: turnover is too high and customer service is losing quality because of it.

Order was messed up on App, and may have been my fault, but when I phoned store they were unsympathetic and rude. Papa Johns dough is good, but Domino’s customer care is miles better.

Always get a good meal from them, not perfect but perfect enough❤️

The pizzas are very good for the price you pay. Alot better than dominos as I tend to find dominos very doughy but Papa Johns is extremely well cooked through and any large pizza for 6.99 is an absolute steal if your collecting.

Food came wrong, and I didn't have time to wait for another pizza as the service was slow and I had work commitments, the server agreed to a refund but would only refund in cash even though I paid card, he said he doesn't have access to this as the manager was conveniently "on holiday" and he was the only one that could refund on card. Extremely disappointed as can't be the case.

Collected a £6.99 Large Pizza, it was good!

Had my grandchildren visit on Wednesday, Decided to eat mid afternoon. The food was delivered in record time and was very hot. All was better than expected. Thanks to all the staff, you made our experience a happy one.

Can't fault Papa Johns in Felixstowe, Ipswich is closer to us, but we always receive better service and quality from Felixstowe. Papa Johns has made the effort to make their menu much more inclusive so we are able to enjoy some calorie ridden naughtiness occasionally. Keep up the great work Felixstowe team, keep the vegan friendly options coming! Mr Singh and his team are a breath of fresh air.

They make super yummy pizzas (I always go for a spicy no cheese authentic thin option), their deliveries are usually super quick. But most importantly they treat customers with the utmost respect and attention. Their customer service and willingness to deliver the best service never fails to impress me. This rarely happens in Felixstowe! I want to say an extra special thank you to the store manager Harjit Singh! He is the best - super attentive, if I have a problem with the order I can call him and he patiently listens to me and puts things right. Thank you so much - Papa John’s Felixstowe is lucky to have you as a manager!!! Definitely recommended.

I gave my order wrong and they made me a new one for free. Can't say fairer than that.

They share special offer and saying order instore or call us , but when you go to store to order they give you different price And they turn you into a liar

Decided to order pizza’s for our New Year’s Eve party instead of doing party food, the pizza’s we ordered were ready on time, tasted amazing and were a big hit with the family and friends, a big thank you to papa johns staff who were helpful and friendly, will definitely recommend and definitely use again

So it came 10 minutes later it was mid warm i had one slice and it made me feel sick not good

First occasion brought pizza deal with potato tots with extra cheese , they put literally limited cheese absolutely terrible even paid extra for it also. Now on the 8th of December 2023 brought a medium pizza for collection after having it few hours later got a sickness feeling think I’ve been food poisoned or something. Terrible service won’t be going again. I’ll stick with dominoes. I don’t recommend

Ordered pizza delivery. Followed the app and took 20 minutes to get delivered according to the app. Delivery guy walked the pizza down from shop to my address and pizza was cold. Called up to say why is it taking so long and told he is new. I said pizza will be cold and he wasn’t interested. Don’t order pap johns. Cold pizza delivered by a walking delivery driver!

Staff very good , quick turnaround and good pizza at a reasonable price, especially if you collect. Better than dominos! Atmosphere not applicable.

I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, which was very tasty and had a nice amount of toppings. The person who took my order was very friendly and explained the deals on the menu to me. The staff were very helpful and the pizzas were delicious and hot. I would highly recommend coming to Papa John's Felixstowe.

They service was friendly and helpful

It arrived only 5 mins later than the latest delivery time. The pizza itself had the least amount of everything than I thought was possible. This is a £20 pizza not a £3 one, you'd expect enough of things so you couldn't see the base, only 2 slices had a reasonable amount of topping on, there was no flavour, mainly because of the lack of topping I guess? I could however taste the jalapeños, that was it really, this pizza ended up being more about texture than flavour, and after the first couple of slices it was pretty much room temperature. So... Value for money? Far from it. Taste? It had no taste of anything but the peppers. Would I go here again? Absolutely not. It was a very disappointing and lacklustre pizza from "The Professionals" and at a top price too. You get a much better fuller and tastier frozen pizza from any supermarket for less than a fiver that would top this any day of the week.

Had a great experience,I found them best pizzas in the town, with loads of veg and non veg options Customers Service was great and friendly,I would definitely recommend it.

Just disappointed. Writing this now while waiting a hour. I’ve had to call twice to when they said it’ll be 5 more minutes then I called again to 10 more minutes 10 minutes was 20 minutes ago. Just frustrating, when I’m paying as much as I am I’d expect my food to be at my table quite sharpish.

Visited PJs in Felixstowe today. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, of which came quickly. Food was served hot, generous with toppings, and a lovely service from the young lady who took my order. Thank you!

Pizza late & cold. To be told by a girl in Felixstowe 'to just be patient " don't phone back. Even though app said it was delivered. Certainly wouldn't recommend. Absolutely rubbish.

Staff in store are friendly helpful and informative with there different deals and the pizzas are amazing with lots of toppings and the best pizza bases around, they have a couple of great delivery driver's and the food is piping hot when it arrived 😋 Simply the best pizza outlet around in my opinion

£40 for two pizzas in itself is enough to put people off. Was grateful to have at least used the 50%off code. Waited over an hour. No apology for running late. Came cold and pizza wasn't even cut up, so I had the joy of having to do that myself. So yeah thanks for nothing.

Pizza arrived but the delivery driver ignored the delivery notes and made me meet him in my pyjamas in the middle of the road. Upon getting the pizza indoors it was cold. I called the store and was told over 7 times that I was a liar and lying and that the pizza was hot. I’m at home with the cold pizza and yet someone on the phone in store know better than me apparently. Ended up having to drive down to the store myself in my pyjamas again to be told I was a liar up until they actually felt the pizza themselves. Then I’m told it’s my fault for not checking the pizza whilst stood in the middle of the road. The store manager/franchisee/owner conveniently wasn’t available to even chat on the phone to address the problems. Eventually staff remade pizza but I will never order from this store again and will be reporting the store to head office as they need to know there franchisees are serving cold pizzas but more importantly treating there customers in such a despicable way.

Eventually received a free pizza as compensation which was pretty good but still not sure worth £23!! Even more disappointed!! A message in response from Papa John pizza asking for the issue to be advised to their helpline for redress but heard nothing back from them after a week! Even less recommended! Very disappointing overpriced pizza's! Could have eaten in Prezzo restaurant opposite for the same price and with a similar length wait. Sides were also disappointing. Staff were friendly however based on this visit would definitely not recommend.

Ordered pizza waited 25 mins in the shop for collection. Went to pay cash and they didn't have any change and wouldn't budge so we lost out on 3.60 change its not the money its principle. Guy serving had his ear pods in was also rude won't be going back

Very fast delivery ordered off the website. Food was hot and really tasty. All 5 of us agreed it was a lot tastier than dominos and the pizza crust was a lot more authentic. Will be using again when visiting in Felixstowe

Bad just truly terrible. I felt absolutely disrespected when eating the pizza I ordered. Not because of taste, not because of temperature, but because merely ordering from this weak establishment was purely a psychological war that I lost sourly.

Really pleased with the vegan pizzas, far better than the dominos vegan pizza. Always turns up on time. The drink was forgotten once and the delivery driver went back and got it straight away which was appreciated.

Useless service! The 3rd time I’ve called in for collection. I arrive 20 minutes later to be told they are now about to prepare it!! Nobody else in the place. What a let down this has been to Felixstowe thus far! Sounds like lots of problems they don’t seem to be fixing with their service. Not what I expect from a large company like this. Will not be returning to this location.

Ordered a large garden party on thin base and paid extra for pepperoni came on a thick base no green peppers and literally one slice of pepperoni and hardly any mushrooms absolutely shocking...looking at the another reviews you won't be open much longer

Pizza arrived very late but was hot and tasty. The only problem was the lack of toppings. I ordered spicy beef, onions, mushrooms and peppers but needed strong glasses to actually see the toppings. Basically a cheese pizza. The cheese stuffed crust however, was delicious. Very expensive even with a discount, so won't be using again, sorry.

I will never order from this Company again, they are happy to take your money but provide shocking service, 2 hours for a cold pizza 🍕 They don’t do refunds and you have to go onto their customer service to ask for your money back, but I see their marketing team BB group have left a five star review on here, which is against company policy and trading standards!

Waiting over 3 hours and still haven't delivered our pizza have called 3 times to be told it doesn't deliver to us- (we have had delivery from here before) then in the same breath being told it's on its way all 3 times! So called manager has no clue.

Upon arriving at the restaurant around 19:05 I was ignored by all staff, the server at the counter was dealing on the telephone with a customer complaint, the other staff just looked at me and carried on what they were doing. Once I was served, after a period of the staff looking for my order they stated that it was still in the oven. I asked how this could be so as the tracker stated that the order was ready to collect, I was advised these were just automated messages!! After a further 10 minutes I asked again where my order was, I was advised that my original order was taken by a delivery driver by mistake and they were having to make a new pizza for me. I assume therefore that the original feedback of automated messages was just a lie!! Finally received my order after a 20 minute wait at 19:25, and was offered a free can of drink for my trouble!! Generally the whole organisation within the restaurant was somewhat chaotic, they need to get their act together!!

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had ordering food. Ordered online for collection after tracking it and the website saying it was available for collection we got to the store to be told the pizza was in the oven and would be 2 minutes, after waiting a further 10 minutes we asked again and were told the same thing that the pizza was in the oven but could clearly see there was nothing in the oven and they were only then making the pizza. After waiting another 25 minutes we finally got our food but when we got it home we found that one of the sides was not what we ordered. After calling and speaking to someone at the store they said we could come and collect the correct items 30 minutes later, once we arrived we checked the box before we left to find again the wrong item and after speaking to the staff again we were finally told that they didn't have what we ordered so they just gave us something else. We were told they could not refund us and were finally offered to pick something of our choice as replacement. Overall just a massively poor service with no real care by senior members of staff. I would just to thank you young guys who were being told to lie to us about the pizzas being in the oven and were never told about some of the items not being available. Wouldn't recommend here to anyone!

Place is a joke! Ordered food two hours later nothing.. in this time I’ve called 4 times to be told it’s on its way! So lying to the customer! Blamed their delivery company for me to find out the same has happened to a friend and they used a different company to me! Won’t be going there again! Would give a zero rating if I could. Place is new in town and unless they get it together it’s not going to last!

Ordered a few times, no problems but my pizza arrived squished into the corner this time. They sent out a replacement when contacted and the rest was okay but a little disappointing this happened.

The Chicken Was Amazing. Everything else was average. I got 2 mediums, 2 sides and a drink for £30 with Half Price. At other places you can get bigger pizzas for less. Was glad when this arrived in felixstowe. Very dissapointed.

Extremely terrible service, I order a pizza online and it took over an hour to arrive, despite the website saying it had already been delivered. I tried again but this time went to the actual building, and was yet again forced to wait an extra 20 minutes for a single median pepperoni pizza. This is a poor show of what a pappa johns should be, and the only reason why I'm rating it two stars is because of the kind people at the till who showed me kindness I will not forget.
