Tesco Cafe in Suffolk Coastal

The breakfast was nice but the portion of beans were really dry, I think I counted about 30 beans 😂 my girlfriends jacket potato was cooked well but the cheese was pretty much none existent and the beans were the same as mine, very old and dry

Mushrooms were undercooked and they didn’t read the order notes again

I was driving through the area and wanted to grab some breakfast. I was very impressed to see The Vegan Breakfast on the menu and was excited to try it out. I thought that it was lovely! The food was all well cooked and was much better than I would have accepted given the circumstances. The interior of the cafe was nice and clean, and the service was very friendly. Overall I was very impressed and will definitely come back to have this again if I am in the area 😁

good food but late so a little cold

food was good but cold as it was 30 minutes late. i ordered for 8:55am delivery and it didn’t come until 9:25am and at this point it was cold.

A non franchised café in Tesco. So much better than the same old Costas we usually find. Better cakes and coffee too.

Cold and the smallest breakfast I have ever seen! 1 tiny sausage, 1 rubbery piece of cremated bacon and 2 very brown hash browns. What a disappointment

It's the staff that really make it a place to visit regularly. They are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Please look after them. They look after us!

First time at this cafe and was really impressed staff very friendly service greati had a smashed advocado on soar dough bread with a poached egg absolutely delicious. Thank you Pink Lady 👍😊

Firstly I’d like to about the lovely gentleman Lewis at the till he was so delightful and his customer service skills are 10/10, the food was lovely and we didn’t have to wait long at all

Really disappointing visit to the cafe. My jacket potato arrived and the portions were tiny (both the potato and the filling and side salad). I asked for a bit more filling but the kitchen refused. I left feeling hungry. My partner's burger was also cold. We won't be coming back.

Portion smaller than last month and plate cold. Service efficient.

Friendly, efficient service and food was good. However, tables were dirty and the noise of the chairs scraping on the floor was overwhelming 😳

Had a take away jacket potato and it was supposed to be tuna crunch with cheese ,it had no mayo in it ,very little tuna and absolutely no cheese ,two of these small potatoes had no side salad either but cost £4 each ,really ??? Prices are extortionate for what we paid for ,so disappointed as Tesco cafe ,used to one of our favourite places to go ! Very disappointed today !!

Been in there multiple times and never fail to deliver, very cheap prices, full English just for £4! But the quality does not suffer from it being cheaper.

Great value breakfast well cooked. No queue, tables kept clean. Only thing is staff need to ask or put sugars and sauce portions and condiments on tray with drinks or you have to go back to counter all the time.

Amazing cafe, great lunch, amazing coffee and tasty cake. Very cheap as well thanks to the VAT cut and eat out to help out.

The all day breakfast is perfectly cooked. Having read other reviews saying the food was cold, it is not the food that is cold it is the plate. Please start serving hot food on hot/warm plates. It is a VERY basic mistake, which is easily rectified. I will come back and edit my review and give you five stars if/when you change the plate temperature. Please do not quote health and safety as an excuse, I do not expect the plate to be firey hot just hot enough to keep the food warm and not burn the fingers of the waitress.

Ordered 2 vegan breakfasts and 2 vegan mochas, it cost £17 for all of it. Got served at our table, the mochas were huge and the breakfast was a good size. Sausages were excellent. It was peaceful and welcoming. A nice incognito vegan breakfast that you can eat without the standard vegan conversation you get in 100% plant based places. It was nice to be normal for a change.

Value for money, ldeal stop off after a hard days shopping!

Service friendly and fast, tables always clean and food is good. Only downside is me being disabled and a powered wheelchair user I can't access many tables as there isn't room to manoeuvre.

Tasty and reasonably priced. Had to mash my own avocado for avo on toast- what is this? The Somme!?

Although café is nice with a cosy atmosphere and tastefull foods, at least one female member of staff that is always on the till is always grumpy and unhelpful. She doesn't seem to enjoy dealing with people and in my experience she shouldn't be. Other staff are very friendly and helpful and I would be delighted to rate with more stars if I was dealing just with them.

Same as other chains of Tesco, but with happy staff, not normally to busy. Lots of seating.

The place seems to be always crowded. The foods were tasty, although a bit pricey. When we visited it second time, they didn't have hot chocolate. I guess it was too far from Tesco to resupply the stocks. We will definitely visit it again.

Pleasing atmosphere and great layout, doesn't feel like a supermarket cafe. Food and coffee also far better than expected, staff always friendly and helpful. Easy effective ordering system. Reasonable lighting for reading and laptop. Mostly kept clean. Relaxing spot.

Nice food, especially the breakfasts. Never mitch of a wait and tables cleaned and available quickly.

Plates. Cutlery. Cups were all dirty. Had to leave breakfasts as cold. The only thing warm was the egg cause it had been freshly cooked. Staff had no interest whatsoever. Tried to chat when paying. Dead pan. Nothing. Sadly wont be using cafe again. After using it alot in the past.

Terrible performance today thought I would have breakfast with my other half and a friend and couldn't of felt more unwelcome the woman behind the counter had next to no customer service at all and the big breakfast we ordered was appalling the food tasted as if it had been left in the hot plate for hours and to top it off it wasn't very warm the only good thing is the woman who brought us our food had a smile on her face and was very polite, other than that a very poor experience I won't be back

Good coffee. Very busy but just by coffee alone see why people come here. Food light bites and limited cake. Well worth a visit.

Great service and refreshments, the young lady working in there didn't stop, serving then cleaning the tables.

A good clean place to visit. A wide selection of food including veggie selection at reasonable prices. Service is good food is served promptly and well presented. finally a good drinks menu including various teas and decaf coffee

I am a big fan of trying local Fry ups so today's was time to give Tesco Martlesham a go. The breakfast came out cold, beans were extremely cold. Toast was cold. So unfortunately it's a bad review from me. Wouldn't recommend. Previous experiences there haven't been so bad.

Food good VFM. Coffee not so good.

Very slow today (Sunday lunch). Too few staff on. I had a disappointing fish finger wrap with only one measley fish finger. Not a patch on Copdock Tesco cafe.

Awful, I had a cheese and ham toastie (freshly made) it was with us before the coffee! Instant toastie! Rock hard edges soggy middle! Never buy food from this cafe!

I regularly have breakfast here and it is of consistently high quality. . How they achieve this in such mass quantities is beyond me

Hit and miss. When the bloke is in the kItchen then all is good. When the young woman is in the kitchen it's not. She sent out the wrong order, which we were confused as to who's it was, then took 10 minutes to send out the other person's order by which time the other had gone cold anyway. Tutted at being asked to warm one up when it had gone cold. Other staff including waiting staff and till staff are polite.

Sausage was cold, paid for mushrooms and got 1. Coffe was not the best. Wouldn't complain but for the price would expect better.

Great little place for coffee and lunch, Costa was to busy so popped in Tesco café thinking this will be rubbish in comparison, but was totally amazed. we'll done Tesco 😊

Just returned from having a burger and chips, doubt that I'll be having any more there, burger was greasy and tough - I have had far better quality from 'greasy spoon' caravan/truck stop places beside the road

Table was dirty so we used a few serviettes on that before sitting down. Food, service and prices generally good but they could double the amount of chips provided with meals.

Lovely friendly staff who were very patient with my children and really helpful. Food isn't amazing but is ok as is the coffee, and good enough for a pit stop & to grab a snack for the children.

The food is generally good for the price, apart from the couple of times my side salad had actual grit in it!

For a superstore cafe, this one has nice decor and sofas in the 'lounge' area. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter then both are bought to the table. However, cutlery, sauces and napkins are self-service. My order was taken efficiently, with a smile, and the coffee served within minutes. The breakfast was served in just a little longer than it took to cook. All of the staff were pleasant and seen to be busy cleaning when not serving customers. The only fault was the floor needed sweeping to remove the discarded receipts and the like which were seen but ignored.

Food was over 40 mins for a sandwich and a small breakfast, food was cold and undercooked, don't waste your money,and service is incredibly slow, tables are dirty and staff stand around.

The plates were dirty, girls - staff no customer service at all.
