Very pleasant restaurant a bit "off the beaten track". Adana kebab is excellent. Other dishes look good. Friendly, professional service. They seem to have quite successfully adapted classic Turkish foods to English tastes.

A little bit of Turkey in Orrell Park! Great food and great service! Would easily recommend this restaurant for a good time!

We've been to the Turkiz restaurant many times now and always found the food and service excellent 👌 Barbara, Hadi and their staff are really friendly and the atmosphere there is very relaxed. We highly recommend it and will definitely be going back there again soon.

Me and my family have been here a few times now and they’ve not let us down once. Me and the missus will get a mixed grill for the both of us and the food is always perfect, portions are just right as well. Our daughter is also celiac and they were more than happy to cater (gluten free) food for her as well. Made her much more comfortable as it’s usually a bit of a struggle for us. The staff are also incredibly friendly and the price isn’t too bad either given the food they serve and the atmosphere you get to enjoy it in also. Would 100% recommend and will continue to return in the future as well.

Ordered as takeaway and must say that is absolutely superb! Nicely packed, all food warm and delicious! Creamy mushrooms and their baklava are a must-try! Handling special enquiries very well too!!

Visited today as I have passed by a couple time but never experienced dining in the restraunt. Was very impressed overall! Food was amazing, great chilled atmosphere and very stylish comfortable interior, waitress was very pleasant and made the visit very enjoyable! Will be dining again soon, could not recommend more.

We booked the restaurant for our mum's birthday. 45 family members joined us. Barbara and Hadi helped us organise it. The food was perfect. The atmosphere was brilliant. Everyone enjoyed the night. Never been to this restaurant before and we live reay close by. Every time we have been passing it has been busy so decided to book a table....we were not disappointed. From the minute we got there we were treated really well by the friendly staff and the food arrived both hot and tasty. We thought it was good value. We will definitely be back.

Visited on Friday 29th December and got their first with my Mum and Nicola, along with others such as our Denise, Dave, the Marshes and others to surprise Auntie Alice for her 80th Birthday which our Annette and Tommy planned.

It was our first visit there, we were delighted how beautiful and clean the restaurant was and how nice the staff were. The food was excellent and nicely plated. If you want a great place to eat and spend time with your family/friends/guests we would highly recommend it!

Second time I've been here and steak was class again service good nice staff. The only thing I can say what is not good is card machine not working again so have to go outside for money to pay .

Asked for a t-bone steak medium rare came out well done gave us the wrong food at first. Mixed up the kebabs we ordered gave us someone's else's meal first and last time I will go to this place.

Impromptu booking an hour before eating on a Friday, and 5 of us were accommodated due to the restaurant not being busy at that time (7.15pm). We ordered 2 lamb shanks, seafood and lamb guvech, and creamy chicken.. none of which was left on the plate. Really delicious and staff service was lovely! See you again!

Visited here this evening (25th June). I don't often leave reviews and when I do it's because somewhere has exceeded expectations. The food was incredible, authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, spotlessly clean and the staff were welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond. Even had a nice chat with the two chefs to thank them. Thank you for a fine meal. We will be back very soon.

Second time here, 1st was OK, thought we would try again. Sorry we did. Ordered a mixed grill sharer for 2. How can you share 1 lamb chop, even when the menu states lamb CHOPS, the waitress insisted we get 1 to share. The lamb ribs were like boot leather, impossible to eat, then the icing on the cake, the chicken wing I started eating was pink and uncooked in the middle with blood. The manager removed the bloody wing off the plate and really thought we would carry on eating the rest of the food on that plate 🤦🏻‍♂️ then the bill came and was expected to pay for the diabolical excuse for a sharer for 2. Eventually the food was removed from the bill, we were given a free drink to conpensate for the food somehow, the bill was 32 pound in the but we paid 40 as I didn't think the free drink was an adequate replacement for the food. **** Answering your response, no replacement meal was offered, you took the uncooked wings off the plate and left the rest of the plate infront of us. Then when we had the plate of food removed you sent over a a single piece of adana kebab on I small plate in some kind of replacement for something ?? As far as giving 50% off the bill, you put everything on the bill until we complained about that. You did give us 2 free drinks but we paid 40 pound instead of the 32 pound bill because we didn't want the drinks to be free In exchange for a poor meal.

We went for my and my wife’s birthday. This place is a hidden gem. Food is simply beautiful, everything fresh and high quality. The staff are all lovely and very friendly. The decor has been done is such a unique and tasteful way. You HAVE to go!

Shocking, delivery ordered for 7pm turned up 5.50pm sent back requesting fresh delivery. Same food turned back up (same receipt on bag) freezing, thrown in bin. Will never order again

Had a meal with my husband .last week, we had lamb kofta and rib eye steak , the meal was divine. Fresh ,hot and very nice , the steak never had no fat it was delicious ,very reasonably priced aswell

Been here many times, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and many choices on menu. The cocktails are incredible also. Love the decor, it’s very creative. Definitely will come back here again.

Very poor service, had to ask for cutlery . Chicken not cooked. I believe everyone deserves Second chance but this was my 4th visit. Ans it's a no no. Really need z good chef and waiting on. Also heating won't go a miss.

We booked our Christmas meal as it stated gluten free for mum and was local for her. Unfortunately the only meal mum could have was a steak and she was looking forward to turkey. We had to run back to mum's as they had no gluten free gravy and there was no gluten free dessert for her either, so we also had to provide our own dessert for her. The Staff apologised but we just thought the Restaurant advertises as gluten free but the choice was very limited to one meal with no dessert and on Christmas Day when more of an effort could have been made, it was booked almost 4 weeks in advance so there was ample time to prepare. On top of that my partner had the turkey dinner which was nice but they missed his potatoes, we didn't say anything, we just wanted to get mum home. I wasnt going to put a review on but mum wanted to make others who are gluten free aware, she said she felt let down and I then felt guilty as I booked it.

I've been wanting to try Turkiz since they opened. The other night me and the girlfriend had a chance to check it out. We were suitably impressed with the place which had a pleasant ambience to it. The service was excellent too and the food very tasty 😋. All in all a good experience and a definite must visit again 😀.

WOW, Great food, lovely ambience. Really helpful staff, and nothing too much trouble. One of our party of seven was a wheelchair user, made very welcome very accessible and beautifully laid out. I recommend this venue, and will definitely return. Thank you Turkiz staff, we had an excellent evening .

Some of our meals never arrived, most meals that did come never came with the rice or chips. The peppercorn sauce was like water. All in all it was a bad experience and we wont be visiting again and I would urge others not to bother. Addition to owners reply. There is nothing wrong with our pallets as we often visit Turkish Cuisine around the city. What was wrong was your kitchen organisation and your chef’s inability to make more than adequate food. All meals ordered were also requested with the relevant sides which as stated above did not show up with the main meals.

Visited here last night for my mums birthday meal, first off the two young girls that where our waitress's where amazing and just given the rubbish end of the stick by the manager and older colleagues as they kept getting sent to us to fix the problems, but we will never be visiting this restaurant again as we were a party of 9 and 2 meals where completely forgotten about and weren't brought to the table until everyone else had finished there food so we had to cancel them meals as it just weren't acceptable, and everyone else's meals had no flavour where missing half of the items that where supposed to be a part of the meals and the sides that we had ordered where missing as well so by the time they had came to the table our main part of the meal was now cold, the excuse from the manager was because the restaurant was busy but sorry this is no excuse at all as you shouldn't have that many chairs and tables if you can't serve that many people and provide the same service you would if quieter, will definitely not be visiting here again and will be advising friends and family not to go as well. A family birthday meal ruined especially when one of the meals that hadn't turned up was for the birthday girl.

Wow can not believe the short experience we had tonight.Booked in for 8 o'clock with my wife for her birthday to be told they are too busy. We were offered a staff table to be kindley described as a table in the back . Customer service at its worse

Tryed it for the first time with my partner we got prawn starter which was over cooked with 3 tiny prawns for 7 pound also the aubergine was splattered on the plate Then spent 20 pound on a steak which I couldn't finish because it was so tough and my partner got chops which were cremated and also tough never again will we go to this place which is a shame its at the top of our street staff friendly and cocktails nice and we were kept waiting for out table which we booked a week earlier very disappointing 😞

I really hate to leave bad reviews for any business but I feel the need to give this feedback in hope something changes. This was our second visit. The first was very disappointing as we thought portions were small and expensive, especially for a just 'OK' taste. But this was in opening week so we thought they was still finding there feet. We decided to try it again last night encountered the same thing. Starter of wings was 3 of the tiniest chicken wings ivd ever seen and the garlic mushrooms came in a small dip pot. Probably no more than 4 mushrooms. Then our mains came, mine was warm, my partners was cold. I kept mine as I was starving still and we sent his back. We'd eaten mine (was meant to be a medium fillet steak, was tough, dry and definitely well done not medium) and drank our drinks by the food was brought back out. We turned it away as we'd both finished and by then was fed up and wanted to leave. I was so hoping this restaurant would be something special because its literally a few minute walk from home.

Been a few times just this week since going for the first time the week before, food is absolutely delicious, lovely service off staff. Personally think the price is well worth paying. The cocktails look amazing, Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is just up the road from us and last night, spur of the moment we decided to have a walk up and check it out. Really glad we did. Both starters and mains were delicious. I have seen some reviews on here with negative comments about the portion sizes and service but that was not our experience. My wife had the lamb chops for main and they were really good quality, cooked perfectly and with plenty of meat on them. I had the "Special" myself and lets just say there was no room for dessert. It was quite busy when we went in but we had no problems ordering or getting either food or drinks. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. The waiter came round with a small plate with some Turkish Delight for us to try (orange flavor, never had it before) and after our meal the manageress came over and had a nice chat with us while were enjoying our drinks. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and we ourselves will defiantly be back.

Went in to book a table in advance for 1.30pm on a Saturday. Gave my my contact info. Turned up at 1.30pm and the place was closed shutters down & no call to advise they were closed.

Busier than I thought it would be for a weeknight, which is usually a sign of a good restaurant. Staff are lovely and very attentive. Food was delicious. Nice friendly atmosphere. Would definitely go again. I only gave 4 stars as our starter should have had feta cheese with the olives and it didn’t. I thought it may come separately so didn’t say anything at the time and then got chatting and forgot about it. Otherwise I would have mentioned it on the night. Plenty of olives though!

Tasty but not worth the money. The meat portions are too small. I got the mixed kebab and the chunks of meat on it were tiny and definitely not worth the money. A friend paid £20 for the special and again barely any meat on it. Food tasted nice but sadly the meat portions are poor.

Ordered salmon when it came it was white fish of some kind disguised with a pink sauce and carrot batons it was awful and tasteless to say least others ordered different meals No one would give five stars wouldn’t recommend

Very good food. Excellent service and pleasant environment. We're delighted to have a quality restaurant locally, but this is worth travelling to - parking is no problem nearby.

Don't want to put this place down coz. The Staff were nice but went for a meal with my boyfriend and walked in had to wait for table to be cleaned before we sat down even though we booked in advance starter was nice but got the sharing platter and wasn't much on it 2 of each thing main order lamb kebab and t bone steak had hair in my sauce black with I am blonde pulled waitress over without making scene they sorted it no problem but didn't give us knife and fork with main without asking then couldn't eat it all so asked to take some home and without them takung it away and bag it privately they brought the container to the table for us to do it ourselves felt ashamed and table next to us said something about it and they also complained themselves the food was actually nice in the end but not organized at all didn't leave tip as felt to uncomfortable during our meal and they brought change in all 20p but all together food was nice but wouldn't really go back sorry pictures if zoomed I. On sauce can see hair

Went on the 2nd night after opening. The food was delicious, we had the sharing platter for starters and the creamy chicken / lamb kebab for mains. The cocktails are good value too, my partner said she could drink the strawberry daiquiri all night it was that good. Sat and spoke with the owner over the Google reviews and understandably there will always be teething problems in any new business but please do not let that deter you as the food, drink and atmosphere more than make up for any first night mishaps that may have happened. Well deserved 5***** review from us!
