Absolutely LOVE this hotel. Stayed here at the start of September. It was my wedding anniversary and my husband thought he had booked our usual hotel - the titanic. Upon arrival, he hadn’t!! So they recommended this hotel for a romantic night away, we popped in and spoke to “Asia” on the front desk, who was absolutely INCREDIBLE with us. I’ve stopped in many hotels, all around the world and her service was exceptional. She really looked after us. We stayed in the Bertie suite and it was Devine. Stunning room. We had cocktails in the lounge where the service was just as incredible. And we will absolutely be staying here again. Great value for money too in my opinion! Brilliant service from Asia though I can’t say Thankyou to her enough!

I recently stayed at Malmaison Liverpool and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the local attractions. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Food-Staff 10/10 Thanks for everything

Lovely hotel, very welcoming and cosy. All staff were great, the room decor was a little bit outdated and our bathroom was a bit run down which let us down. But overall a lovely stay, the location is ideal and approximately a 10 min walk from the local town centre.

I am a wedding hair and makeup artist and I have done hair and makeup at the Malmaison many times. The staff are incredible and do everything they can for you. It is a beautiful venue for a chic city centre wedding.

I spent the morning at a networking event at Liverpool Malmaison. I run an entertainment agency called Toneacity Entertainment and came along to take part in The Liverpool Wedding Network. First of all….Wow! What a stunning hotel. The views outside were great and it is so classy but colourful inside. The staff were all lovely and tentative. We were truly looked after. I will definitely be returning for a weekend get away with the wife. Thank you Malmaison. X

The great things about this hotel were the staff, the location and the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and responsive and tried to deal with our issues. The location was fantastic - right on the docks and among all these amazing historical buildings. The breakfast had a really good selection of food, and no congealed eggs sitting under a hot plate for hours! Every hot breakfast was cooked to order and we loved that. The less great things were the room itself and the noise. The room was really tired and ours was so dark it was actually a bit depressing! The bathroom was like a crypt - black walls, black floor and black ceiling, it honestly felt like you were getting showered in a coffin. The shower itself was terrible, too - the only option was a waterfall shower with no pressure and no hose for extra ablutions. And there was no way you could put makeup on properly, you could barely see your face. The desk was also chipped and the sofa was a little stained. Noise-wise, we were on the third floor right above the function room, and on the Saturday night, people were smoking weed on the function room balcony (despite the hotel's no smoking policy), which went straight into our room, and there was a karaoke disco that went on until midnight that was so noisy it was unreal. Forget having a relaxing, early night if you're in this hotel on a weekend. All in all, we did have a fantastic trip to Liverpool - what a historic city! - but the hotel was definitely a bummer and I wouldn't stay here again.

It's basically a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge with a bathtub. The only real highlight is that we stayed in a room next to Robert Plant and he was nice to my dog when we crossed paths getting the elevator. Much nicer hotels in the area for a similar amount.

The best Malmaison I have stayed in staff are very friendly, parking is right next door but is a bit expensive, it's a pity you can't get a discount with staying in the hotel.

We are a huge fan of Malmaison as a brand, and have stayed in most of their hotels. Many of them are very quirky, but the Liverpool one is purpose-built and is in a great location. This is our second stay there. When we arrived on Friday, just after 6pm, there was only one receptionist and eight - yes, eight! - people in front of us waiting to check in. Not the best start after a six-hour drive! This was a return visit to the hotel after five years, and a bit of TLC is definitely needed. Bathrobes were very worn, and the belt loops were missing, by way of an example. Quite a lot of scuffed paintwork. Food in the Brasserie was really good, and great service from Becca, Matt, Mustapha, and Ellie. Drinks prices are reasonable, but do remember that - for some strange reason - Malmaison serves beer in schooner measures rather than pints, so you are looking at around 570ml in a pint glass, but only 425ml in a schooner. There was a wedding in the hotel on the Saturday night, so the hotel reception was quite noisy. Would we stay here again? Yes, we would, but there are definitely some areas (mentioned) where standards have slipped a little.

Great location to be in the city and beautiful walk by the riverside. The interior design is very modern and our room was clean and tidy everyday. I loved that we had a room facing the river as it was calming to look at. Very warm, friendly and welcoming receptionist as well as the restaurant staff, we had a lovely dinner here but the mood was ruin when we kept get asking if we want more drinks when we ain't finish or even half way through to our first one but other than that very good overall hotel experience to stay and eat.

Stayed here for two nights which was really good value with the 25% off offer before end of March. Lovely room with fantastic view, very spacious, clean, huge bath tub. Breakfast options were good, staff very attentive and provided additional dairy free options for me - would love to have had an option for a vegan version of the veggie breakfast, and quite limited vegan options for dinner but otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Stayed for 1 night for my birthday. Could not recommend this hotel enough! Room was lovely, staff were so friendly, breakfast was really nice with lots of options. The lady who checks your room numbers for breakfast was so friendly. She took my 3 year old daughter and made a mocktail with her. (She was delighted) Would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely stay here to mark my birthday and was given a free drink which was a nice touch. Room was great and very happy, had to deduct a star as the fire alarm went off at 2.20am, it was very short but very loud so didn't obviously warrant an evacuation but still woke us up all the same so a disturbed nights sleep unfortunately!

Was in the area with friends, so I stopped in for breakfast, and I'm certainly glad I did. The quality of the food was impeccable, and the staff are very professional, well presented, and really friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful.

The Malmaison hotel chain has some beautiful properties and this one is no exception. You are greeted by a stunning fireplace upon entry. The food, drinks and service available here is exceptional. The staff have the right mix of being friendly but very professional. The standard rooms have everything you need ,but I recommend you pay extra for a riverside view, unless you like looking at carparks. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Oh dear. Great looking hotel, rooms are spacious and comfortable, dog friendly, all seemed good. The service on the Saturday night was non existent. After waiting 20 minutes I went to the bar to order and a server came over, I asked for menus. We got a wine in a dirty glass and an adult menu but no kids menus. 10 more minutes of nothing , we just wanted to leave. I couldn’t complain because there was no one. I couldn’t pay because there was no one . We decided it was quicker to do the 20 minute walk to Albert Dock. I returned our drinks to the front desk and explained I’m not absconding, there just isn’t any one to ask for the bill. I’ve now been there for 30 minutes at my table. The Friday night, was a polar opposite. Great staff, super attentive. Good experience. Im supposed to be meeting my family for drinks in the bar later , it might be quicker and a lot easier to get an Uber into town to meet them.

We've almost freeze at night, at Liverpool winter afternoons/nights temperature decreases rapidly, the hotel heating system did not work properly, issue probably not new since they brought electric portable heaters. ... And some of them weren't in their best conditions,... Also late night room service menu is very scarce. 🤬🤬

Nice place, rooms were modern but quite dark. Would have been a nice touch to have a bottle of water in the room. Had to go to the bar and pay £5+ for 2 bottles of water. Check in and out was very good. Nice touch on the free prosecco for my birthday. Breakfast service was slow and they missed items off my order. Shame there is no option for discounted parking as it costs £20 a night ! In the adjacent multi story .

Our first time staying in Liverpool and at this hotel, but the service was exceptional! I cannot remember the name of the lady that gave us the upgrade on reception but please send our thanks, she was so helpful! Furthermore, the room was amazing and had everything we needed for the night. The coffee machine was very good, in addition to the king size bed & views of the docks. We look forward to staying with you in the future!

A cozy pub with good beer. When we were there, there was even a fire lit in a small fireplace. Just had something to drink, if there was something to eat, I can't say anything about it.
