Good food and service during the week. Very enjoyable and authentic dishes. Kebabs were delicious, and all the flavours were great. Would recommend, and would go again for a meal.

We ordered takeaway but it was so lovely - high quality Turkish food:) Loved the bulgur with the pilav.

Made a mistake of reading a couple of the top reviews and going for it. The meat smelled so old and off that we could not eat it, it was awful. It feels what we were given was the left overs of the people who left good reviews previously. The service was good hence 2 stars not 1. Will never go back. Edit. Response to restaurant’s feedback: We did not request our meal to be well done so that’s probably another unhappy customer, the smell was nothing to do with the level of cooking, it was simply an off smell of old meat. You take pride in your 4.4 star reviews, unfortunately that’s exactly what deceived us. Hopefully others who visit you will have a better experience from now on.

The food here is amazing! The chicken and lamb shish were so juicy and flavorful, and the hummus was smooth and tasty. The staff are super friendly and cheerful—really made me feel welcome even for a takeaway order. Great place, highly recommend!

Was a little disappointed by this place. One waitress when arrived at the restaurant. Took a long time to get order in , water and drinks. People who came after us got served first. The lamb chops were a little goaty. Chips and salad were good. On top of that they put in a gratuity. I will tip if things are above expectations. Now I am shamed to have to pay this charge when we all known it wasn’t deserved.

Perfect for big groups and very good quality meat

Food is amazing here. So full of flavour. We just had starters as we weren't too hungry but they are a good size and we still had to box it up to bring home! It's also perfect for wheelchair users because, unlike a lot of places, my daughter's wheelchair fits under the table properly. This makes the eating out experience so much better for us as a family. We will be back for sure.

The best Turkish food in surrey

Starters over priced for portion size and salad was not fresh. Main shish plates were good, meat well seasoned and marinated but again salad was not fresh.

Not a lot of customers for a reason. The meat is not fresh. Ordered lamb and chicken shish kebab for almost £20 each. Terrible quality of meat and taste. Couldn’t finish the meal. Waiters didn’t approach us until we asked them. Very slow service. The pictures and reviews on google maps seem to be fake because it doesn’t look as lovely as in pictures.

The food was alright in general although Vegetable Casserole didn’t have any mushroom even though it was in the menu. It was a mix of a lot of onions and peppers and very few aubergines and courgettes . Bread was burnt and the proportion of rice was very small. People go to restaurants to have an experience but as a Turkish restaurant the atmosphere was not very Turkish.

My friends and I are not from the area and were passing by, we decided to visit Ihlara yesterday late afternoon for a late lunch Could not find any fault or let down from either the food or the service, our waitress provided exceptional service from start to finish We really enjoyed our time here, delicious food, friendly and efficient service, and aesthetically pleasing decor Really recommend the Ihlara special platter and in particular the grilled lamb items on the platter I hope to visit again if I find myself in Woking again

Bizzy, good food, staff friendly and very professional

Extremely poor quality food. Falafel wasn't freshly cooked. It was frozen, straight from one of the leading supermarket. The waitress was apologetic but the manager was defensive and reluctantly gave us a discount on the overall bill. Poor service, food and customer service. Hugely disappointed!! Deserve a 0 zero star but unfortunately that option is not available.

I've come here for my cousins birthday and the attitude we are getting from the staff is absolutely unacceptable, the waitress (MIHAELA) has been rude to us since we got here. She's not even taken our order properly and then bought starters out without the bread and then the mains has come out. Just meat sat on table now getting cold. We are spending so much money what a shame I won't be coming back again.

This place just looks nice from outside. Food was average with extortionate prices. Very small portions specially rice. Would not recommend at all!

I brought several mirrors to this place. The place is very good, the food is good and the service is good. In the past there was a lady who did a very good job for me and with professionalism, but a while ago the waitress was changed with a new waitress. The service has become very bad. I hope that waitress will return.

Very filling dishes, the cocktails are really good too. The baklava is warm, I appreciate that it is made in-house. The waitress was very friendly and overall the atmosphere is very welcoming. I recommend this hidden little gem in Woking

A truly pleasant place and wonderful food. We were short of time , but the staff and service was exceptional. More than enough choice and the menu (loved the stuffed vines) and came away feeling very content.

The food here is very tasty and I would recommend it to everyone. I spent my birthday here and really enjoyed the food. When the waitress heard that it was my birthday, she immediately brought a piece of cake at the expense of the restaurant, which was nice, and the cake was delicious. I also wanted to add that you will not be hungry after this restaurant.

Food ok, but expensive for what you got. Needs more atmosphere. Service could be greatly improved, side dish arrived near end of meal !

We last came here when it was The Turkish Kitchen, it was good then but much better now. The food was awesome, much better portion sizes and really good quality. Very pleased we came back 😀

This restaurant is such a little gem. The very nicely cooked, very tasty and well presented food never dissapoints. Service is always great and " Shakira " the very enigmatic young waitress is great fun, as are all staff. Food is very reasonably priced too. Always a great experience!

I once went to Turkey. Partner had plastic surgery, I spent a week eating hospital food and then got dumped as soon as she recovered. This restaurant was better than actually going to Turkey and I recommend it highly.

The food is consistently brilliant. I’ve been here on a number of occasions and it is always a memorable experience. The service is perfect and waitress Anna is extremely good at her job and always accommodates our needs.

I wish I could give a lower review! Dined here on the 23rd October after a spontaneous decision to try this local restaurant. What came after was a heavy wave of regret! The service was poor despite the initial friendly greeting, which was shocking given the fact that my partner and I were the only ones who were guests at the time. The starters we had - hummus kurvuna and grilled Turkish sausage were fine but the main courses we ordered - mixed lamb and chicken grill was awful, super disappointing and just gross. The lamb tasted totally rotten and not fresh at all. We stopped eating it and after waiting for more than 15 mins for someone to check in on us, I explained our disappointment with the dishes. The pathetic reply we received was that they were indeed fresh, which was obviously a lie. When asked why no one bothered to come and check in on our food, we were given another pathetic response "we don't bother customers and wait for them to tell us if there is an issue". The basics of customer service requires that you are literally providing a service. We didn't pay the service charge and 1 main dish was removed. Please avoid this awful place and save your money. We will definitely not return and have already informed friends and family locally to avoid it.

It was my first time coming. I was welcomed very well while coming in, I enjoyed every bit of it as it was a good customer service and the food was a 10/10. Definitely recommend it, worth money spending.
