Amazing food , great value for money and very friendly and polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and tables cleared quickly after peoe left. Easy to get to.

We visited the Turkish chef in heanor for the first time it’s about 10 min wolk from where we live. The weather wasn’t great but the restuarant was fairly busy which is a good sign. We were sat at the table and given menu’s we ordered a bottle of chardannay which was nicely chilled. Our orders for starters & mains were taken I had the vine leaves my husband the garlic musherooms both arrived swiftly also we had a compkemtary Turkish bread basket with dips & olives . Our mains quickly I had lamb mousakka and my husband had lamb klefitika both came with rice which we didn’t realise and had ordered side of chips . Anyway all food was good and tasty we finshed with dessert . Unfortunately we like to finsh our meal with a coffee but they currently have no coffee machine. Overall a very good food with good service What would our change personally I would have prefered a little time between courses . I know this is difficult to judge has some people moan if they don’t get there food immediately maybe cos they are used to the like of Mac Donald’s but we like to make a evening of our meals out so would like a little time between course as long as we aren’t forgotten about. And defo get a coffee machine. But overall very good and defiantly would return . Maybe once a month do a maze night

We are four friends who meet up and have a meal. This time Turkish Chef was chosen and we had a lovely relaxing meal. The staff although small, were very friendly, polite and helpful. The food was cooked to order and the portions were generous so we didn’t leave needing anything else! Definitely will go again sometime!

Family meal ruined by awful service and mediocre food , not worth the prices on menu! Under staffed don’t waste your money here !
