When you drive up to this place you think about turning around and going somewhere else as it is in a rusty metal hut surrounded by industrial buildings and scrap yards. I'm glad we went in as we all had a good breakfast and staff nice too.

Been waiting over an hour for poached egg on toast & still no sign of it, no matter what it’s like I won’t enjoy it as now running late, won’t be back

Had to ask for my money back after waiting over an hour and still no food appearing. If thé café was as busy as they said it may be an idea to let the customers know about the hour plus delay in the food

Delicious breakfasts served with quality food, really enjoyed my breakfast topped off with the best MUG of tea I have had in ages. They now do delivery - wow that's great.

4th or 5th time going to Tubbys for breakfast. Every time it's been excellent. Can't fault them. Dog friendly too with a water bowl out which is nice

This cafe is situated along the road running alongside the historical Dunkeswell airfield, which played such an important role in the Second World War. Recently under new management, when I visited for breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of food provided. Non-greasy, well cooked and delicious, all for £10 including coffee. The interior is pleasant, and they have plans to expand the premises, to include an outside seating area, add a take-away and provide a much-needed delivery service for the surrounding area. As there are many businesses nearby, as well as sky diving and helicopter rides at the airfield, it will be a good stop-over for anyone wanting a substantial, tasty, breakfast or lunch.

This was our first visit to Lyme Regis and after having a little look around we were all getting a little hungry so we decided to stop off at Jane's Cafe on the parade. There were five of us and we all shared two boxes of cheesy chips together, I can't comment on the drinks that the others had but the cheesy chips were very nice. Good position sizes although could have been a little bigger but the chips were nice and there was plenty of grated cheese on top - I expect it would have been even better if it was melted slightly! There were plenty of places to sit and eat with nice views over the beach. The only negative comment from a family member was that the staff were a little slow serving the drinks but the food was ready pretty quickly and it was hot which was the main thing! A good little place to stop for a quick drink and something to eat.....

One of the female managers is very hostile and has no manners. Walks around like a customer and dressed like one too. Doesnt bother with a smart appearance and attitude is no better. Not a great way to represent the company. All other staff look relatively smart and professional and always polite. Food- you get what you pay for and reliable! The layout is a bit crammed also but Wetherspoons have never been one for quality over quantity.

Breakfast was certainly an interesting experience. The incredibly friendly staff certainly had their own unique system of handling groups of over 4 people so you can imagine their delight when we arrived with a group of 20. Potential customers should be aware that you categorically must not order for yourself but through a middle party instead. If you try to order your own food or drink I suggest you speak to the responsible person in your party for them to relay your order to the very lovely rosey cheeked attendant at the till. In my case our responsible person was only 3 foot away from me but we made sure to follow the rules as to not cause an eruption of chaos in the kitchen. When I received my apple juice, I really admired its antique look. The sediment at the bottom and the out of date use by label really added to the chic worn vibe that this hip establishment embellishes by the bucket load. The cleaner is obviously very lucky and has had a long holiday, (possibly to another farm shop the costa del Sol). I say this as the building has acquired an impressive collection of cobwebs in their absence. Now the main event BREAKFAST!!! Everyone likes to start their day with a hearty meal, I feel the two members of staff whole heartedly agreed with me as they left a few extras in some of our food to make sure we didn’t go hungry. One fantastic long black hair that I’m sure is packed full of protein (looked like a moustache hair, but I’m not a barber). One no longer buzzing fly that gave my crispy bacon that extra crunch. I also stayed hydrated through the water that was served to me from a designer tea pot that had amazing tea colouring and stains within in. Once I had consumed my meal I made sure to use the toilet facilities to rid my ablutions apart from the skid marks and the mixtures of cobwebs and urine the toilets were delightful. In all it was an unforgettable magical experience. Shamefully I am stuggling to give it 5 stars and there was a small chip in the plate my breakfast was served on. 4 stars.

Lovely eat in and takeaway. Family breakfast for a family of 5. Great service, even had a lovely warm bowl of bread pudding 😁 as a taster. Great value. Will definitely visit again when we're in Exmouth
